“Juliana was the best!! I was a little scared because my reactive dog Rosie had never had a dog walker before but Juliana was great with her. Arrived on time everyday and sent me pictures as well as thorough updates. I’ll definitely be rebooking!”

“On short notice, Ekaterina was able to meet and look after my senior cat for 3 drop-in visits. She did an excellent job (as evidenced by my cat being in good spirits went I returned). In particular, I really appreciated the many pictures and videos she sent me of my cat from during her visits. Overall, I'd recommend Ekaterina highly to anyone in the Bay Ridge area looking for a pet sitter.”

About: I’ve always had dogs as a meaningful part of my life even though my current lease doesn’t allow me to have one of my own. For the last six years, I helped take care of a previous partner's dog, including watching him alone for weeks or even a month at a time. He was adopted and mildly reactive, so I learned to be attentive to body language, manage space around triggers, keep walks calm and positive, and make sure they felt safe while still getting plenty of stimulation. I’ve also cared for my sister’s dogs, including a rambunctious, high-energy German shepherd puppy and a mature Australian shepherd, so I’m comfortable with smart, active dogs who need more than a quick walk around the block. I especially love connecting with intelligent dogs who thrive on enrichment, structure, and engagement, whether that means sniffy walks, varied routes, leash games, practicing cues, or just giving them the time and attention they need to feel fulfilled. I recently moved to Brooklyn, and spending time with dogs feels like the best possible way to explore the neighborhood. I enjoy letting dogs sniff, investigate, and set a natural rhythm instead of rushing them through a walk. I work from home three days a week, which also gives me a lot of flexibility for housesitting and daytime care. I’m responsible, communicative, and happy to adapt to your dog’s routine and personality - the more you can tell me about how to show them a good time, the better a job I can do! I also love being around cats, whether they're cuddly or aloof - I'm happy to hang out and keep an eye on them as needed :) I work from home up to 3 days (any days) a week and am very flexible weekends and evenings; I'm happy to discuss how I can meet your needs and match your schedule! I care for pets with attentiveness and respect for their normal routine. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos based on your communication preferences, and I’ll never be unreachable or “off grid” while I’m caring for your fur baby. If your pet has any special instructions, including medications, exercise needs, reactivity, feeding routines, or comfort preferences, I genuinely want to know so I can follow them carefully and consistently. For dogs and social cats, I like to make the time feel like a little local staycation rather than just basic care. When we’re not out walking, exploring, sniffing, or playing, your dog will be welcome to hang out near me, cuddle up, or relax in the same space. As a rule, I won’t leave pets crated, confined or ignored. I’m also very mindful that I’m a guest in your home. I’ll keep things clean, respect your space, and leave minimal traces behind. My goal is to be your peace of mind while you’re away: someone who keeps your pet comfortable, loved, and well cared for until you’re back home. Finally, you don't have to blindly trust me on a whim - I'm happy to do a meet and greet to get to know you and your pets in your space. I want picking me to feel like the perfect choice before you even leave your pets with me :)
“Andy did a great job taking care of our two cats! He was very communicative, responsible, timely, and paid good attention to details like taking out the litter garbage, specific feeding instructions, and bringing some extra toys to entertain the cats. Definitely recommend!!”

“First time leaving our cats and we were worried about finding a sitter for them. Our cats loved her and would come running to greet her. She helped reassure us when leaving and sent photos and videos of the cats when we were gone. Will use her again in the future and I recommend using her!”

About: Favorite pastime: exploring with fur babies. I help friends with pet sitting, and I've also done pet/house sitting with Trusted Housesitters. I love exploring nature with animals, and can take them on long hikes. I can also play with them indoors for hours on end. I work freelance/remote, so my schedule adjusts to the pet's schedule. I have plenty of time to play with them, sit at home with them, or take them out for walks. Pets are always on a leash if out of the home. No phones on walks so I can be present with the animal. I can provide as much cuddles and validation as they need to ease their separation anxiety. I can also crate them if need be, this varies by pet and owner.
“Amy did a lovely job. She was responsive, friendly, consistent, sent photos and details every day, and took time to play with our lonely, playful kitty. The other one hid, but that's what we expected. I felt like I could relax and trust our fur babies were being looked after -- would definitely book Amy again.”

“Another great experience overall. This was our second time scheduling Lucy to look after our cats. Communication was easy and responsive, which made everything feel stress-free. Lucy took wonderful care of our cats, and the updates showed that everyone was comfortable and happy. It was a real relief knowing the cats were in good hands while away. Would absolutely book Lucy again.”

“Neshie is a very responsible person! She communicated with me proactively, came to check on my cat in advance, and asked about important things to note. My cat looks happy and well.”

“Angel went above and beyond in her care for our pets. One of our Guinea Pigs was actually pregnant and gave birth while we were away- none of us expected or had experienced this before- and Angel herself works mostly with cats and dogs but she handled it like a pro! She took such great care of all of the babies and sent us pictures and videos every day as requested, which was so fun for my kids because they wanted to be there. She bought more veggies for them as needed and kept their cages very clean. I will definitely be using Angel again in the future and I highly recommend her!”

“Mallory did a wonderful job taking care of Minam ! my dog gets bit aggressive towards strangers but she was able to work around the aggressiveness and even took him out for a walk! which I didnt expect her to be even able to do! Mallory seems to be great with all dogs and I was definitely able to see the caring nature within her ! thank you so much for taking care of Minam !!”

“Ismail was able to watch Onion with a few days notice. he provided so many photos and video and made sure our Onion was entertained. we will always recommend Ismail for any cat drop in needs!”

About: Hi there! My name is Madison G., and I’ve been surrounded by pets for over 20 years. Growing up in Seattle, my family always had dogs, cats, and even chickens, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I recently moved to New York and, while I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment, pet sitting allows me to do what I love most, spend time with animals, provide attentive care, and stay active with plenty of walks and playtime! You can count on me to treat your pet with the same love and attention I’d give my own. I take every job seriously and will make sure your furry friend is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently have a pretty open schedule and will amend my schedule to meet the needs of anyone who needs pet care! I am flexible. My home is clean and ensured to be pet safe. I'm situated, in a small neighbourhood, by many parks to walk around and quaint streets ideal for walking!

For the last 3 years, I have had the pleasure of having Megan watch over Emma! Through health and now medical diagnoses and medicine regiments, Megan has consistently shown me that she cares for Emma as if Emma was hers. Leaving gifts behind and taking care of both Emma’s mental and physical health, I always feel comforted knowing that Emma is in good hands when I am away.

Cindy was an outstanding sitter for our little Sarah. Every drop in visit Cindy provided updates and photos of Sarah and was extremely thoughtful and informative, which helped us feel more at ease considering we had never left Sarah in someone else’s care. Cindy is welcome back anytime, we can’t recommend her more.
