Baby Fever for Fur Babies
Never had baby fever but my maternal instincts come out when I’m around a dog or a cat. I volunteered at a dog shelter while I was teaching in Taiwan and currently, I look after my roommate’s dog whenever he works late hours or is away for long period of time. I’ve also lived with cats for two years, helping my former roommates care for their cats in their frequent absence. Since starting on Rover, I’ve been able to diversify my experiences. I’ve gotten the privilege and honor to look after so many pets, including seniors, puppies, young cats, and those with special needs or health conditions!

Megan was fantastic! She accommodated a last-minute request, which we really appreciated. My dog took to her immediately - it was like he’d known her for years. Throughout the visit she kept us in the loop with tons of photo updates, which we loved. My pup is high-energy Australian Shepherd, and Megan kept him entertained with lots of fetch to help burn off his energy. You could tell he had a blast with her. We’ll definitely be booking with Megan again!
Megan was an excellent caretaker for our special needs kitty. Our cat needs multiple medications a day with special applications, and Megan executed all doses with ease. She went above and beyond and sent multiple photos during every visit. It was clear that by the end she really bonded with our cat and made him feel safe. This was our first time leaving our cat since we received his diagnosis, so we were nervous to leave him. Megan’s support and attentiveness put us at ease. We will definitely be booking her again! 🙂

I work a hybrid schedule but over the summer I’m mostly remote so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pets!
