Full time animal lover!
As of Sept 8th, 2026, my availability will be reduced to evenings and weekends 💕 Growing up as the daughter of a vet, on a farm, with a whole lot of strange animals, I've seen it all! Animals are, and have always been, my life. I am a full-time pet sitter and artist, and have very flexible availability to host, walk, and entertain your fur baby( and so much more!) I'm a short walk from Prospect Park and love to explore with your pups! I also have plenty of experience with cats and exotics, from lizards to livestock! No creature is too small or odd for me to love. I have particular experience with sick, elderly and injured animals too, and don't shy away from the nitty gritty! I am open to boarding as well, but due to having my own particular old puppy, each will be reviewed case by case. I look forward to chatting and loving on your bestest fur friends!

Layla was great with Chicken and very communicative while we were away. We could tell she really cares about the animals she looks after, as well as their homes. We’ll definitely book her again!

Layla watched my pup Phoebe at my apartment for a weekend. She took great care of my dog and my place! Phoebe had a medical issue immediately before Layla came - Layla took it in stride and I felt very comfortable leaving. Layla was also very responsive to texts. Highly recommended!
Layla accommodated our last minute booking and made our nervous JRT feel comfortable. Hoping we’ll have the chance to work with Layla again sometime soon.

Schedule
I do freelance design work, so I work from home most of the time, and between, I’m a home body! Plus, I’m not afraid of early mornings!

- Please let me know of any and all behaviors you deem relevant for me to know! This can range from “she likes to cuddle” to “he is very leash reactive.” When in doubt, everything is relevant!
