Caring cat companion in South Slope
I've been a full time pet sitter in the Park Slope area for over two years and a cat person my entire life. I'm experienced in providing in daily care, medical needs (let's discuss it first), and of course giving lots of love. I've lived with and looked after all feline personalities - from the sweetest cuddle bugs to the spicy and sassy.

Emily did a fantastic job taking care of my cats. I felt so relaxed on my vacation knowing they were doing so well without me. Her videos and photos put my mind at rest. She made sure that they were comfortable through a heatwave and spent quality time playing with them every visit. I will most certainly ask Emily to look after my cats when I go on my next vacation.
Emily was the best cat sitter! She was so thoughtful and helpful from her initial meet and greet with my cats to the end of her two-week visit. She helped my cats through a big transition (a move!) and took wonderful care of them. She sent the best pictures and videos and kept me updated with helpful feedback and questions. I currently work from home, giving me flexible hours for cat pick-up/drop-offs as well as having lots of time to give to even the neediest of pets.

Safety, trust & environment
Please note: Boarding is always limited to one cat at a time (or multiple from a single household). Your cat will only make new human friends - no other animals will be coming into the space while they are staying with us. Our home has beautiful screened windowsill for your cat to overlook green space, enjoy the breeze, and listen to the birds. My home also has cat shelves for adventurous pets to climb on and keep me company while I work in the office and a doorframe is equipped with a five foot tall scratcher to climb up. Our apartment is two floors and spacious so there is plenty of room to run around and get some exercise running up and down the stairs. Home is clean and cared for. We have no cats, dogs, or children of our own so the apartment is quiet and calm for skittish or solitary pets (although there may be an occasional visitor). My partner Boris is an additional verified sitter on my Rover account to assist with boarding, giving you two sets of hands to pet and feed your furry friend.
A typical day
A typical day with a boarding client includes playtime, brushing, and as many snuggles as they want to give. I believe in giving cats space when they first arrive and letting them move at their own pace then showering them with love and attention once they are comfortable and looking for it. For drop-in visits I am here to assist with feeding, freshening water, cleaning litter, as well as socializing and playtime. I am also always happy to help with minor house-care tasks while you're away like grabbing small packages or watering plants.
