About: I have hands on experience caring for dogs. I have babysat and walked friends and family’s pets, and have always had a connection with animals. I am attentive, reliable, caring, and i’m committed to keeping your dog safe, happy, and exercised. I am so excited to spend some time with your babies! I have an open schedule. I am available from Monday-Sunday from 12-8, and can make up to two visits a day. Please message me at least a day beforehand, thank you! I will not be keeping pets at my house or stay overnight at a clients, but I will ask that you let me know of your pets medical needs, emergency contacts, vet info, etc so I can insure their safety as well as mine. About: For more than 30 years I have been engaged in the maintenance, care and training of my pets. I love animals, taking care of pets gives me pleasure. I have had many different animals, I have experience in caring for turtles, fish, hamsters and cats. I currently work part-time at a dog daycare, where I care for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities every day. This experience has helped me become confident handling both energetic and shy dogs in a safe and attentive way. I’m available for dog walks and drop-in visits on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends by appointment. I always try to be flexible and provide reliable communication and photo updates for pet parents. Dogs have been an important part of my life since childhood, and I have over 30 years of experience caring for pets. I have experience with large breeds such as Huskies and Giant Schnauzers, as well as senior dogs and pets who need medication or extra attention. My priority is making every dog feel safe, calm, and comfortable. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, routine, and energy level, and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I believe patience, consistency, and trust are the foundation of good pet care.

About: Hi! I'm Janis—a college student on summer break, excited to meet your pet(s)! I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals since I was young—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish—you name it! Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs— from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as large breeds like Pit Bulls, Samoyeds, and Labradors. I am open to making exceptions for some large breeds depending on their behavior and after a meet-and-greet. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained experience walking and handling anxious dogs. My experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant has given me strong familiarity with handling medications, special diets, and injury care. I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable following specific care instructions to ensure your pet’s safety and well-being. I’m very responsive and make sure pet parents always feel connected by sending frequent photo and video updates. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and bond with them through the activities they enjoy most. I’m currently on summer break, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m able to spend most of the day with them, with exceptions for errands, but they will never be left alone, as I live with family. I provide at least 2–3 walks or potty breaks per day, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s needs and routine. I also accept last-minute bookings whenever possible! I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication at all times. I live in a house with a fenced front yard, but your pet will always be supervised when outside. During walks, I try to avoid streets with a lot of traffic to help pets feel secure, especially in new environments. I always pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I live with my family, so pets will never be left alone if I had to run out, and I always communicate this clearly with owners ahead of time. I currently don’t have other pets in my Brooklyn home aside from fish, which allows me to give your pet my full attention. I can also follow instructions like crating or separating pets if needed.

About: Hi! My name is Michelle and I’m based in Midwood, Brooklyn! I live with my boyfriend and adorable cats in a 2 bedroom apartment. I’m an occupational therapist and pet sitter on the side. I am a school-based occupational therapist by day and a full-time cat mom on the side. I am off during summers so trust that your fur-babies will be fully attended to! When I am at work, my schedule follows a traditional school schedule — so M-F 8-3pm. My boyfriend is a medical student who is usually home a lot. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and I’ve taken care of pets since I was 8 years old. Throughout my childhood I have had pets ranging from reptiles, to fish, to hamsters, and I also grew up surrounded by family member’s dogs! I have volunteered as a dog walker at Sean Casey Animal Rescue and socialized/walked dogs during my free time. I also had the greatest time working at Paws in Paradise, a Doggy Daycare Center in Park Slope, caring after dogs from a variety of breeds and ages! I had my own dog when I was 8 years old and she was my best friend, raising her when she was just a puppy up until 12 years old. I learned the most about unconditional love and companionship from her and it was the best moments in my life raising her. Now I have 2 cats who have been exposed to other pets since the day I adopted them. Both my boyfriend and I have experience with pets and we both take part in caring for the furbabies in our home. We have a large rooftop and we also live fairly close to Prospect Park. We have a car, so we would be able to drive to our nearest dog park (Kensington), so with permission I would love to take your pet there as well! I can assure you that your pet will receive all the cuddles and care they need with me. I’ve looked after dogs of family members and friends and I will always send them pictures and videos to update them throughout the day — so I can assure you I will do the same for you! I have more experience with small and medium sized dogs, but I have handled big dogs before. I have experience cat-sitting and allow them to roam around my house freely with a designated room for their litter box.

About: I have had experiences with many pets, but mainly dogs of different sizes and breeds. I have had my first pet Rocky the shih tzu for nearly sixteen years! Now that Rocky is an older pup, I have assisted him in numerous ways, such as holding him up as he slowly goes on his walks (or walks around the house), spoon feeding him, keeping up with medication, and of course bathing him. I also have a second dog named Daisy, who is a yorkie-poodle mix. Daisy can get a bit anxious as she walks in the street, so I am very patient and used to furry friends who bark a lot as they go for their walks. I’m currently available all days of the week to walk and care for some new furry friends! Being that it is summer and school is out, I have a lot of free time on my hands. Throughout the year, I work in various public schools as a paraprofessional :) In the past, when I have brought new furry friends to my home, I put up a gate as a divider until I feel that the visiting pets feel comfortable around my two dogs. I feel comfortable administering medication, preparing food, changing diapers, and bathing pets of all sizes and breeds. I have also walked dogs as small as chihuahuas and as big as pit bulls for friends and family.

“Okay, I have to rave about this sitter for a sec. My cat is usually pretty shy around new people, but she won him over almost immediately; no idea how, but I'm not complaining! She sent photo/video updates every day I was gone, which honestly made the trip so much more relaxing. Litter box clean, feeding on point, and she even picked up on him being a little mopey one day and gave him some extra snuggle time without me even asking. Also grabbed my package that was outside the door, which was such a nice bonus. I came home to a happy, chill cat and zero stress. 10/10, would book again in a heartbeat. My work schedule gives me flexibility during the day and on weekends, which means I can offer reliable, unhurried time to the pets I care for not just squeezing in a quick visit, but actually being present with them. In my own home, I keep a calm, consistent environment — set feeding times, regular potty breaks, and plenty of one-on-one attention so pets feel settled quickly rather than anxious. I keep spaces pet-proofed and give dogs enough exercise throughout the day that they're relaxed, not restless. When I'm in a client's home, I follow their routine exactly as given — same food, same schedule, same walk routes if provided — because consistency matters most to pets when their owner is away. I send photo/video updates so owners can see their pet is comfortable, and I treat the home with the same respect and care I'd want for my own space: doors locked, mail collected if asked, and everything left exactly as I found it. For walks, I stay attentive and present the whole time — no distractions, leash secure, watching for other animals or hazards. For sitting or drop-ins, I make sure water, food, and any medication schedules are followed precisely, and I always leave a note or message summarizing the visit.

About: Hi, I’m Jean and I’m really looking forward to meeting your pup! Although I have never had the opportunity to have my own dog, I have loved dogs my entire life and admire them dearly. I have worked at multiple animal daycares in Brooklyn and Manhattan and have dog sat/walked many of my friends/families dogs. I understand that your dog is your family so I strive to prove your babies comfortability is my top priority. Understandably, leaving your dog in another persons hands can be a risk but I will ensure that I leave your furry friend happy, exhausted and at the very least more comfortable with me! I have basically open availability Monday to Friday. Please message me for any further questions you may have regarding availability for taking your pup on a joy walk, hanging out together at your house or a sleepover at my apartment! Your dogs comfortability is my top priority.
