“Alex was great with my male Bernese Mountain Dog weighing 130 pounds. He handled my dog confidently and calmly, which is especially important given his size. We live in a densely populated area, and Alex did an excellent job managing walks safely and responsibly around people and distractions. I felt very comfortable trusting him with my dog and would absolutely recommend him to anyone with a large breed.”

“Alana is great. She came to get my key and meet Suki to see her routing with fairly short notice when a work trip came up. She’s so loving with my animals and took care to follow all my directions, including giving Suki some of her arthritis meds. So happy we met!”
“Angela did a great job! She was very kind and easy to communicate with. The walk went smoothly, and everything was handled well. I would definitely recommend her and would be happy to book again.”

About: Hi! I’m Sophie, I'm 27 (will soon be 28!), and I'm someone who genuinely enjoys spending time outdoors and being around animals. While I’m relatively new to pet care, I’m eager, attentive, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I stay active and go on daily walks (usually about an hour), so I’m especially excited about opportunities to walk dogs and keep them engaged. I’ve had some hands-on experience walking a friend’s dog, and I’ve really enjoyed building that routine and connection. I also have a small goldfish tank at home, so I’m familiar with the basics of maintaining a pet environment. In terms of availability, starting April 16th, I expect to work full time in office Monday through Friday (with early dismissal on Fridays) and I’ll be available on Friday evenings and throughout the weekends. I would be comfortable offering services for dog walking and making drop-in visits. I would like getting to know your pet's routines and what would be expected from me.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was about 8 years old. I grew up with a doberman and a cat both of which i loved dearly. I continued to have cats and dogs until I moved out on my own at 25, I now only have cats because of my building but would love to get back to walking and taking care of dogs! I’m a manager at a non-profit animal rescue group and take care of approximately 50 animals a week. This includes feeding, cleaning, playing and monitoring their health! I treat every animal I come into contact with as I would my own. There is always love and the utmost care. I’m on a sabbatical from my full time job now in sustainability so I have lots of time to do some pet care work! I still work at the animal rescue group but that is only part time. I offer services mostly at the client’s home and not my own because of my cats. While super friendly and cuddly I have no idea how they’d react to a large dog! But at the client’s home I’m extremely vigilant about pet safety and know what to do in an emergency. I’m very familiar with walking dogs of all sizes (even great danes) from my time as a doggy daycare employee.
“Irina did an absolutely amazing job taking care of our dog! She was always on time, walked her with care, and kept us updated with pictures. She is very polite and truly caring. Harley loved spending time with her. We were beyond happy with her service and will definitely be booking her again in the future. Highly, highly recommended!”

“Lisseth was extremely helpful when I asked her to come walk my pups last minute. She was attentive and seemed to make sure to take good care of them. Would love her to be with my pups again.”
About: I love pretty much ALL kinds of animals! Previous roommate had 2 CUTE kittens & before then, 1 ‘peeing-everywhere’ big cat as well.. 🤭 took care of them for a year despite of being ‘naughty’ or ‘nice’..😏 And for the dogs, there’s always somebody’s doggie that needs to be walked (haven’t had my own one yet 🥺 will adopt one as soon as I live at a pet-friendly studio by myself) including 1 elderly guy’s cutest baby Dachshund, Marco, in UWS for ~2 years.. WHATEVER kind of pet you have, I’ll take care of them as my own & PROMISE to return them !! 😬 Back to NYC (from LA) & before I find a ‘regular’ job here again or will be booked as an Artist & Actress, very available for these CUTE, FLEXIBLE pet services !! Well, I’m 1 of THE most trusted, loyal, & honest persons in the whole world & as a Scorpio, too 😏 you’ll get to know me by yourself as well ! Whether it’s my place or yours, I’ll be VERY trustworthy in terms of your pets or belongings!

“Xiao Hui is great, she takes direction well and is always very communicative with sending updates and pictures of my baby. Her brother helps to translate but she seems to understand the gist is what you need.”
About: Hi fellow pet lovers! After adopting my family doggo a few years ago, I’ve grown to love caring for and bonding with dogs. I live in a house with our lab mix, Milo, in Brooklyn. I’m experienced in dog-walking and bonus, I’m great at taking pet photos so you’ll always be in the know about how your doggo is doing! Please schedule a meet-and-greet with Milo if doing doggy day care. I currently work a full-time job, but I’m remote for three days during the week and welcome doggos to play with Milo while I’m home! I like to go on 20 minute walks at least 2-3x a day. I have a yard so during drop-in visits, your doggo can run around and sunbathe when the weather is nice. I’m very attentive on walks. During doggy day care and drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your doggo is comfortable and having a blast! Milo is a gentle soul, but he becomes highly reactive to other dogs so it takes him time to make new fur-iends. If they need to be separated, I have multiple stories in the house to allow them to decompress and get comfortable.
“Kadeisha has been our dog walker for a couple of months and she has been great with our girl, Fairy. She is very reliable. I highly recommend Kadeisha.”

About: Hi there! I’ve always been surrounded by friends’ dogs (and other pets!) growing up. I remember learning how to walk, bathe and understand their dogs in elementary school and always begging my parents to have a fur baby of our own. I’ve learned a great deal through their personal journeys and am looking to have a dog of my own in the future! Your pet will be greatly loved, respected, and safe while you’re away without worry. And of course, updates and photos are guaranteed! I’m greatly detail oriented, meticulous and compassionate about all furry friends. I hope to love them like they’re my own. I work full time remote so I’ll be home fully during the week to care for your furry companion. I’m super transparent on when I’ll need to step out during weekends for commitments or errands and will let you know ahead of time. Despite being fully flexible, I would only accept boarding of dogs without any intense separation anxiety that may result in accidents in the home or continuous barking that would invoke noise complaints in my apartment building. For a suitable match, I would only board dogs that can be alone for minimum 4-5 hours. If they can only tolerate being alone <4 hours, we won’t be a great fit! I thank you ahead of time for your understanding and I’m always open for a chat if we want to talk more details! My apartment is an elevator and pet friendly building and we have a rooftop for fresh air and space. I live with my partner, no pets and with occasional friends that may visit (if your pet is okay with this)! There are parks nearby for long or short walks as well. My space is kept clean and neat at all times too! I never use harsh cleaning products in my home and I also don’t have any plants that may harm pets as well.
About: Hi! My name is Diana, and I’m someone who truly loves animals. I’ve been caring for pets for years - from close friends to neighbors - and I’m always the one people call when they need someone gentle, attentive, and trustworthy. ⠀ Whether your pet needs cuddles, long walks, quiet company, or playtime, I adjust to their personality and needs. I believe animals feel energy, so I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed around me. ⠀ I work with a flexible schedule, so I’m available for daytime walks, drop-ins, overnight stays or weekend sittings. You’ll always get photo and video updates - I know how important it is to feel connected to your pet even when you’re away! ⠀ Let’s schedule a meet & greet - I’d love to get to know you and your furry friend 🐾💛 I work from home most of the time, so my schedule is very flexible. Whether your pet needs a walk during the day, an overnight stay, or just some loving company while you’re away - I can usually make it work Unfortunately, I haven’t had my own pets here in the U.S. because most of the apartments I lived in didn’t allow animals. That’s why I often stayed at my friends’ homes to take care of their pets. Now I don’t have this issue anymore and would love to spend more time with animals. Back in Ukraine, I had many pets throughout my life — cats, dogs, hamsters, parrots, even rats. I really miss having animals around, so I treat every pet I care for with love and as if they were my own
About: I've been around dogs since I was a baby. Everyone in my family has had multiple dogs throughout my life, including me. I have experience walking, feeding and taking overall care of all dogs in my family. I'm currently unemployed and looking for a job at a Vet clinic to get more experience in the field! I will be attending school to become a Vet Tech in the spring. I do have a puppy of my own that I need to take time out of the day to be with but I am readily available most of the time and can do multiple drop-ins / walks throughout the day. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby safe. I can also crate your dog or section off a part of the house for them if needed :)
“Karina was absolutely delightful! Incredibly responsible, communicative, punctual and took such great care of our pup! We can’t recommend her enough! Thank you Karina for being Nala’s best friend!”

Coney Island dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kseniia has been an exceptional dog sitter/walker. She was consistently providing attentive and reliable care. She is very accommodating with scheduling and flexible with hours, which made coordination effortless. She kept me updated with photos of my dog multiple times a day. My dog was always happy, relaxed, and well cared while spending time with her. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated pet sitter or walker.

Kadeisha is a lifesaver! We needed help last minute with our babies and usually have them in boarding, but never again - Kadeisha is our go-to from now on. She not only braved extreme cold weather without complaint, but our dogs loved her immediately. Our dogs are skittish of humans because of their past, but they felt comfortable with her right away. AND the pictures she takes are another level - our dogs look like models! 🤣 We can't wait to use her for boarding and daycare going forward.
