About: Hi! I'm Janis—a college student on summer break, excited to meet your pet(s)! I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals since I was young—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish—you name it! Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs— from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as large breeds like Pit Bulls, Samoyeds, and Labradors. I am open to making exceptions for some large breeds depending on their behavior and after a meet-and-greet. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained experience walking and handling anxious dogs. My experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant has given me strong familiarity with handling medications, special diets, and injury care. I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable following specific care instructions to ensure your pet’s safety and well-being. I’m very responsive and make sure pet parents always feel connected by sending frequent photo and video updates. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and bond with them through the activities they enjoy most. I’m currently on summer break, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m able to spend most of the day with them, with exceptions for errands, but they will never be left alone, as I live with family. I provide at least 2–3 walks or potty breaks per day, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s needs and routine. I also accept last-minute bookings whenever possible! I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication at all times. I live in a house with a fenced front yard, but your pet will always be supervised when outside. During walks, I try to avoid streets with a lot of traffic to help pets feel secure, especially in new environments. I always pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I live with my family, so pets will never be left alone if I had to run out, and I always communicate this clearly with owners ahead of time. I currently don’t have other pets in my Brooklyn home aside from fish, which allows me to give your pet my full attention. I can also follow instructions like crating or separating pets if needed.

About: I’ve taken care of many smaller breeds for the last 7 years. The walks are always at least 30 minutes long with a goal to give your puppy a chance to do their business and socialize under supervision. I am currently working full time in Coney Island area but I am available full time to come on weekends, holidays as well as most of summers. I have access to 4 parks in my neighborhood as well as the beach. I take my own dog out 6 timers per day at least 30min walks to do his business and socialize.

About: Hi! I’m Sophie, I'm 28, and I'm someone who genuinely enjoys spending time outdoors and being around animals. While I’m relatively new to pet care, I’m eager, attentive, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I stay active and go on daily walks (usually about an hour), so I’m especially excited about opportunities to walk dogs and keep them engaged. I’ve had some hands-on experience walking a friend’s dog, and I’ve really enjoyed building that routine and connection. I also have a small goldfish tank at home, so I’m familiar with the basics of maintaining a pet environment. In terms of availability, starting April 16th, I expect to work full time in office Monday through Friday (with early dismissal on Fridays) and I’ll be available on Friday evenings and throughout the weekends. I would be comfortable offering services for dog walking and making drop-in visits. I would like getting to know your pet's routines and what would be expected from me.

Your pets will be safe, happy, and never alone. Just fill me in on the details and I’ll cust I build pet care around fixed anchor points in my day morning and evening feedings/walks at consistent times and treat those as non negotiable, scheduling everything else around them. Weekly, I set aside time for things like grooming, yard/litter cleanup, and restocking supplies, so daily care stays quick and routine. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible same feeding times, walks, and playtime and keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or health, updating you with photos or messages along the way.

About: When I was a child my family owned and cared for dogs, horses, bunnies, and chickens which meant I became an animal caretaker at a very young age. In addition to helping to feed, groom, and clean up after our pets, I was aIso responsible for administering our dog’s daily diabetes insulin. My childhood prepared me well for becoming a dog mom to a longhaired dapple Dachshund in early 2021. I cannot imagine my life without him and cannot wait for your furbaby to become his furbuddy! I'm also the proud owner of Boogs & Boop, a small business specializing in pet accessories, with a portion of proceeds donated to supporting animal shelters and dogs in need. This commitment reflects my deep passion for caring for dogs and their well being. I work full time from home, so Dog Mom is my 24/7 job title. I am conveniently located near a park so go on at least two walks a day, weather permitting. DAYCARE CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: 1. Daycare refers to drop off between 8-9am and 5-6pm, a 8-hour period. 2. Pick-up and drop-off times for Daycare must be scheduled in advance through direct message. 2. Late arrivals of more than 30 minutes will be charged an additional $5 per 30 minutes that you are late. Late arrivals risk interfering with other appointments, so this fee helps to accommodate that change. 3. Drop offs before 8am are subject to an Early Drop-off Fee of $10 per hour. 4. Pick up after 6pm are subject to a Late Pick-up Fee of $10 per hour. 5. Pick up after 9pm is considered boarding which is subject to double my Daycare rate. HOUSE-SITTING CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: During house sits, I typically continue my normal schedule with other pet care clients (walks, drop-ins, etc.), so I may be out of the home for portions of the day. If your pet requires near-constant or 24/7 care, please let me know in advance. I may be able to accommodate, but this would require adjustments for my own dog and existing clients and may involve an additional fee. I care for pets in my home since I also have my furbaby to attend to. This means there’s always healthy treats, pee pads, dog wipes, and pet first aid products on hand. I understand that being away from your furbaby can be nerve-wracking, but you can rest assured that I will provide clear communication and photo updates when your pet is in my care. I do not have an attached yard, but the park is a hop, skip, and a jump away, so it’s easy to take potty breaks whenever necessary. PLEASE NOTE: 1. Please arrive with your pet on a leash. I am a strong advocate for pet safety and leash laws. 2. I do not allow guests into my home, but would be happy to meet you downstairs at drop-off and pick-up times. 3. I will ALWAYS send photos throughout the appointment, even if not directly requested. INCLEMENT WEATHER DISCLAIMER: I take all weather advisories seriously. When the heat index is above 90°F degrees or windchill is below 20°F walks will be cut short for your pet's safety and for my own. Walks will consist of “doing their business” then returning indoors. Regular service is maintained in the rain, but will be postponed due to thunder, lightning, or blizzards. Walks may be early or delayed depending on the forecast. I will always communicate with dog owners if a change of plan is necessary due to dangerous weather and temperatures. Thank you for your understanding.

About: I have a kitten and an adult cat , i’ve also had a dog before as well.All my pets are well trained. I’ve volunteered at Sean Casey to dog walk plenty, I love animals. I adore animals, I’ve actually wanted to volunteer in costa rica for turtle savings and help needed:) It’s a dream ! Also love taking my partners pitbull for long walks it’s fun to connect with the animal. I have a lot of free time on my hands, I am a student and I only go two days to school in the mornings which is Monday and Wednesday. Will be studying animals in the class oceanography, I can’t wait. I have a lot of room to work and have a stable job like this. I have a kitten and an adult cat, both are trained properly by me, as well as being calm and well mannered. The adult cat I actually rescued myself and took her in as a baby she was just in a dangerous situation with a car. I also got my kitten from a rescue and raised her on my own. Those are the only two pets I have and there very friendly.

About: Hi fellow pet lovers! After adopting my family doggo a few years ago, I’ve grown to love caring for and bonding with dogs. I live in a house with our lab mix, Milo, in Brooklyn. I’m experienced in dog-walking and bonus, I’m great at taking pet photos so you’ll always be in the know about how your doggo is doing! Please schedule a meet-and-greet with Milo if doing doggy day care. I currently work a full-time job, but I’m remote for three days during the week and welcome doggos to play with Milo while I’m home! I like to go on 20 minute walks at least 2-3x a day. I have a yard so during drop-in visits, your doggo can run around and sunbathe when the weather is nice. I’m very attentive on walks. During doggy day care and drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your doggo is comfortable and having a blast! Milo is a gentle soul, but he becomes highly reactive to other dogs so it takes him time to make new fur-iends. If they need to be separated, I have multiple stories in the house to allow them to decompress and get comfortable.

About: Hey! When it comes to loving animals and letting them chill, I’m your person. I’ve taken care of my neighbor, coworker, family and friends’ pets! I love them all and they’ll love my apartment. I cannot wait to take care of yours. I’m a professional writer working from home so I’m in my apt during the day and can spend time looking after your pet and giving them attention if they wish! I have the bay right across the street from my home so that’s where we’ll be walking! If the weather permits, we might even take a stroll to Manhattan Beach! I have a one bedroom apartment with an outdoor balcony and a high fence around it. There is lots of space indoors and out and no other pets live with me.

About: Hi all! I am crazy about all dogs and am the proud pawrent to two adopted furbabies. One male, pocket pitmix, 6 and one female, chihuahua mix, 4. Both are fixed and friendly. To prevent an intervention of being the owner of way too many dogs to be socially acceptable, I’m opting to be a Rover walker and sitter instead. I am looking to make your dog extra comfortable by having dates where we can walk, play, have treat times, and take selfies. :) Happy to oblige with requests medical/dietary needs, dog park visits, sing alongs, etc. Very flexible with traveling and breeds to house-sit. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and in the bed. Have had dogs of various sizes and breeds (poodle, chihuahua, German Shepherd, cocker spaniel, currently pocket Pit mix) in the past, and am comfortable with any best friend of yours!

About: Hi there! I’ve always been surrounded by friends’ dogs (and other pets!) growing up. I remember learning how to walk, bathe and understand their dogs in elementary school and always begging my parents to have a fur baby of our own. I’ve learned a great deal through their personal journeys and am looking to have a dog of my own in the future! Your pet will be greatly loved, respected, and safe while you’re away without worry. And of course, updates and photos are guaranteed! I’m greatly detail oriented, meticulous and compassionate about all furry friends. I hope to love them like they’re my own. I work full time remote so I’ll be home fully during the week to care for your furry companion. I’m super transparent on when I’ll need to step out during weekends for commitments or errands and will let you know ahead of time. Despite being fully flexible, I would only accept boarding of dogs without any intense separation anxiety that may result in accidents in the home or continuous barking that would invoke noise complaints in my apartment building. For a suitable match, I would only board dogs that can be alone for minimum 4-5 hours. If they can only tolerate being alone <4 hours, we won’t be a great fit! I thank you ahead of time for your understanding and I’m always open for a chat if we want to talk more details! My apartment is an elevator and pet friendly building and we have a rooftop for fresh air and space. I live with my partner, no pets and with occasional friends that may visit (if your pet is okay with this)! There are parks nearby for long or short walks as well. My space is kept clean and neat at all times too! I never use harsh cleaning products in my home and I also don’t have any plants that may harm pets as well.

About: Hi, I’m Jean and I’m really looking forward to meeting your pup! Although I have never had the opportunity to have my own dog, I have loved dogs my entire life and admire them dearly. I have worked at multiple animal daycares in Brooklyn and Manhattan and have dog sat/walked many of my friends/families dogs. I understand that your dog is your family so I strive to prove your babies comfortability is my top priority. Understandably, leaving your dog in another persons hands can be a risk but I will ensure that I leave your furry friend happy, exhausted and at the very least more comfortable with me! I have basically open availability Monday to Friday. Please message me for any further questions you may have regarding availability for taking your pup on a joy walk, hanging out together at your house or a sleepover at my apartment! Your dogs comfortability is my top priority. Whether it takes a few minutes, a few hours or even days for a dog to be comfortable, I will always do my best to attempt to ease a dog into a new situation.
