About: When I was a child my family owned and cared for dogs, horses, bunnies, and chickens which meant I became an animal caretaker at a very young age. In addition to helping to feed, groom, and clean up after our pets, I was aIso responsible for administering our dog’s daily diabetes insulin. My childhood prepared me well for becoming a dog mom to a longhaired dapple Dachshund in early 2021. I cannot imagine my life without him and cannot wait for your furbaby to become his furbuddy! I'm also the proud owner of Boogs & Boop, a small business specializing in pet accessories, with a portion of proceeds donated to supporting animal shelters and dogs in need. This commitment reflects my deep passion for caring for dogs and their well being. I work full time from home, so Dog Mom is my 24/7 job title. I am conveniently located near a park so go on at least two walks a day, weather permitting. DAYCARE CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: 1. Daycare refers to drop off between 8-9am and 5-6pm, a 8-hour period. 2. Pick-up and drop-off times for Daycare must be scheduled in advance through direct message. 2. Late arrivals of more than 30 minutes will be charged an additional $5 per 30 minutes that you are late. Late arrivals risk interfering with other appointments, so this fee helps to accommodate that change. 3. Drop offs before 8am are subject to an Early Drop-off Fee of $10 per hour. 4. Pick up after 6pm are subject to a Late Pick-up Fee of $10 per hour. 5. Pick up after 9pm is considered boarding which is subject to double my Daycare rate. HOUSE-SITTING CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: During house sits, I typically continue my normal schedule with other pet care clients (walks, drop-ins, etc.), so I may be out of the home for portions of the day. If your pet requires near-constant or 24/7 care, please let me know in advance. I may be able to accommodate, but this would require adjustments for my own dog and existing clients and may involve an additional fee. I care for pets in my home since I also have my furbaby to attend to. This means there’s always healthy treats, pee pads, dog wipes, and pet first aid products on hand. I understand that being away from your furbaby can be nerve-wracking, but you can rest assured that I will provide clear communication and photo updates when your pet is in my care. I do not have an attached yard, but the park is a hop, skip, and a jump away, so it’s easy to take potty breaks whenever necessary. PLEASE NOTE: 1. Please arrive with your pet on a leash. I am a strong advocate for pet safety and leash laws. 2. Due to Covid-19 precautions, I do not allow guests into my home, but would be happy to meet you downstairs at drop-off and pick-up times. 3. I will ALWAYS send photos throughout the appointment, even if not directly requested. INCLEMENT WEATHER DISCLAIMER: I take all weather advisories seriously. When the heat index is above 90°F degrees or windchill is below 20°F walks will be cut short for your pet's safety and for my own. Walks will consist of “doing their business” then returning indoors. Regular service is maintained in the rain, but will be postponed due to thunder, lightning, or blizzards. Walks may be early or delayed depending on the forecast. I will always communicate with dog owners if a change of plan is necessary due to dangerous weather and temperatures. Thank you for your understanding.

About: I have formally worked at a dog boarding kennel for 3 years where I handle up to 30 dogs in a yard at a time, making sure they all get along and receive ample amounts of love! Through my job I have gained lots of experience with reading dog behavior/body language as well as making sure all their mental and physical needs are met. I have experience working with dogs of all ages and sizes and feel comfortable taking care of almost any dog I meet. I held responsibilities in caring for my 2 family dogs growing up. Since then I've also looked after neighbors and friends dogs numerous times, taking care of things like potty breaks, baths, meal times, and daily medications. Im currently an interning at Maggy London 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) from 9-6pm. However, I am available any other time of the day or week. Unfortunately I am living in student housing that does not allow pets in the building. However there are plenty of nearby parks within 5-10 minutes walking distance from my apartment.

This is the second time we have used Shay's services within the past year; and like the first time, she did not disappoint. Prompt, informative, courteous and most importantly loving to our 2 shihtzus. They in turn respond well to her. Max is temperamental and prone to the occasional nip. But max loves Shay, permitting her to rub his belly (a great sign of trust) Fluffy is always in need of human contact and he got that by sitting next to or on Shay 😆 Shay kept us informed about her arrivals, walks, and feedings. Sending pictures and videos. My girlfriend wanted no one else to take care of our pups while we were away. She said, "I love her (shay) aura, her vibe, the dogs trust her and are comfortable with her." We were able to enjoy our vacation without worry or concern. Thank you Shay. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child. I have experience of working with dogs of any age: little puppies to senior dogs. I enjoy taking care of animals and bringing them joy during walks and play dates. I am currently a on my last year of high school and due to that I have lots of free time. I am usually home by 12pm and have rest of the day to take care of pets. Except Saturdays since I work once a week. I have a doggy park 10 minutes away from my house where other dogs can become a company for a pet. If dog is not allowed/does not like being in contact with other animals the rest of the park can become a great place for walks and play dates.

About: The amount of times i’ve offered to take care of my family’s pets just to spend time with them.. i absolutely adore taking time out of my day to get a boost of dopamine by spending time with our fur babies! I’ve taken my neighbors dog out on walks for 2 years now and i will never get tired of it! Our walks consist of taking her to the dog park, potty breaks and lots of treats love and attention. I am a huge dog and cat lover, i’ve had a mission to spend time with as many dogs and cats until i run out of love(never) please consider me to be apart of your fur babies life 🫶🏼🥹 I am currently working four days at a hair salon, but I’m available on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays where I can drop in during the day or any times to spend time with your fur babies. Having 3 cats i know how messy and hairy it can get! I usually come and tidy up around the house to give both you and your fur baby a clean, litter, fur free home. I tend to the litter box and wash food bowls, I’m also a huge treat person and i love giving so much love and affection, Play time is huge part of my visits not just drop in and outs, i think giving our fur babies some fun and active play time makes their whole day and it makes me super happy to be apart of their day! i also never leave without having a little fun haha

About: I've been around dogs since I was a baby. Everyone in my family has had multiple dogs throughout my life, including me. I have experience walking, feeding and taking overall care of all dogs in my family. I'm currently unemployed and looking for a job at a Vet clinic to get more experience in the field!
