“Doris is so communicative and makes you feel very calm and relaxed when she’s with your doggy. As a helicopter doggy mama, I was very grateful how she sent photos and let me know how it was going. I will definitely book her again. Her daughter is so sweet too! 💖”

“As a first time user of rover I was a little worried at first not knowing what to expect from the service. However, Brittany blew away all of my expectations! She did an outstanding job walking my dog while I was out of town for a funeral and quite last minute as well! I cannot say enough about how great the experience was. I highly recommend her and she will be my go-to from now on!!!”

“Thank you for walking my Zola ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ She is such a sweet and responsible, trustworthy, and you can tell she genuinely loves animals. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet walker! 🐾❤️”

“Kadeisha is a lifesaver! We needed help last minute with our babies and usually have them in boarding, but never again - Kadeisha is our go-to from now on. She not only braved extreme cold weather without complaint, but our dogs loved her immediately. Our dogs are skittish of humans because of their past, but they felt comfortable with her right away. AND the pictures she takes are another level - our dogs look like models! 🤣 We can't wait to use her for boarding and daycare going forward.”

“Pamela was so caring and detailed oriented. Went above and beyond with our pooch, and had so much patience with the ongoing communication and flexibility of timing. So reliable; We appreciate her very much 🧡”

“Daniella followed our guidelines to a T and communicated during and after the walk. We got home to find our boy happy! She also checked with me about bringing some of her own treats beforehand to make sure they were good for our pup. You can absolutely trust her with your furry friends!”

About: As soon as I moved out my Mothers house (my mom was allegedly allergic to all animals) the first thing I got before getting my first couch was a cat. I’ve always been a cat lover, they bring me so much joy and peace and would love to be able to take care of your little ones when you need someone to make sure they’re being looked after. I currently have a 1 year old named Yumi 🐈⬛ and a 1 month old kitten named Rami 🖤 🐈 They’re both super sweet. Yumi is usually very closed off in the beginning which is why I separate the cats initially and then slowly initiate an introduction with your fur babies to create a more peaceful atmosphere for everybody. I’ll be working part time. So I am free virtually all weekend. Plus late afternoon/evenings on weekdays! But I’m flexible, just reach out and let me know we can work something out. I live in a nice sized one bedroom apartment where there’s enough room for everyone to play. I have an elevator in my building so it’s very accessible for everybody.

About: Proud owner of 3 dogs, a pug and 2 labs. Flexible with different sized dogs. Love to walk dogs rain or shine. Very experienced with older dogs as my pug is now 16 and has many health conditions that require constant care. I'm a former cross country runner so exercising with your dog is no issue. Very familiar with the good walking spots in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Can take him/her to dog parks as well (I'm literally in a band called Dog Park), can link you to the Soundcloud if you're desperately curious :). I'm working an internship over the summer at a studio with odd hours so my time is very flexible. Currently studying music at NYU and would love to have the part time work caring for animals.
About: I grew up with pets and have taken care of them for friends / family and professionally for over 15 years. I specialize in dogs, cats, and birds but love working with critters of all kinds. I love animals and enjoy providing them with affectionate care! My weeks are flexible and I work to meet all time specification. While I do work regular business hours, my schedule is relatively flexible so if your adorable animals need extra care I am able to accommodate. I provide all pets with diligent care and treat homes that I sit for in the same manner! Providing trustworthy service is very important to me. I make sure to provide timely communication and work to meet all pet needs carefully.
About: Animals have been a part of my life since childhood. I got my first cat when I was 8, later I had a dog, and since then caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have 4 cats of my own, including pets with special medical needs, and I take pet care very seriously. My mom runs a rescue in my home country, so helping animals is something truly family-based for me. For me, this is not just extra income, I treat pet care as a serious responsibility, and I understand how much trust owners place when leaving their pets with someone. I have experience with rescue animals, senior pets, and cats with serious health conditions, including diabetes, urinary issues, post-surgery recovery, and cancer care. I am calm, patient, and very attentive to detail. Skills & Experience: 1) Administering insulin injections and basic medications 2) Caring for diabetic pets and monitoring health conditions 3) Experience with oncology (cancer) and post-surgery recovery care 4) Senior pet care (gentle handling, comfort-focused care) 5) Cat care: feeding routines, litter care, behavior observation 6) Nail trimming for cats 7) Basic teeth cleaning 8) Dog walking and general dog care experience 9) Experience rescuing and fostering around 10 cats 10) Reliable pet sitting for friends and family when they travel I always treat every pet as my own and make sure they feel safe, calm, and cared for while their owner is away. Pet care fits into my weekly routine on specific days. Right now, I am available on Tuesdays and Fridays, and I can do morning, afternoon, or even late-night visits depending on the booking. I already care for my own cats every day, including a very strict medical routine. I regularly check blood glucose levels and administer insulin injections twice a day. Because of this, I’m very responsible, consistent, and comfortable following precise schedules without missing details. Even though my availability is limited to certain days, I fully dedicate my time and attention during visits. I make sure every pet receives proper care, monitoring, and calm, attentive support. I always prioritize safety, routine, and a calm environment when caring for pets. I carefully follow each pet’s instructions, including feeding schedules, medication, and special medical needs. I have experience with cats requiring insulin injections, health monitoring, and strict daily routines, so I am very responsible and detail-oriented. In any home, I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free, and I always keep their environment clean and secure.

About: Hi, I’m Onyx! 🐾 I’m a Chicago native, New Yorker, journalist, and lifelong animal lover. Caring for animals has always been one of the most grounding parts of my life, and being a dog mom to my 60-lb Staffy mix, Reese, has given me years of hands-on experience understanding the personalities, routines, and quirks that make every pet different. I’m the kind of sitter who genuinely enjoys getting to know an animal—not just making sure they’re fed and walked, but making sure they feel safe, comfortable, stimulated, and loved while you’re away. I’m attentive to routines and instructions, and I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and videos so you can have peace of mind while you’re apart. I’m especially comfortable with energetic dogs who love to play, explore, and get plenty of exercise. I’m an active person myself, so long walks, runs, playtime, and keeping a pup entertained are right up my alley. I also have a serious collection of dog toys at home, so there’s no shortage of ways to keep a four-legged guest busy! Whether your pet needs an adventure buddy, a midday break, some extra cuddles, or simply a calm and reliable person to keep them company, I’d love to help. I treat every pet in my care like they’re my own—and I know how much trust that takes. Can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! 🐶💛 I’m currently unemployed so outside of caring for my own dog, I have more time than ever to care for more pups while their parents are traveling. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or theirs, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow their instructions closely—from feeding and walks to medications, supplements, playtime, and bedtime routines. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and video updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. In my home, I make sure pets have a comfortable, pet-friendly space where they can relax and get plenty of attention and enrichment. I have lots of toys and love taking dogs outside for walks or trips to the park when appropriate. I’m also attentive to each pet’s individual personality and boundaries—whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a quieter environment with lots of cuddles. After years of caring for my own dog, Reese, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every animal in my care with that same level of patience, attention, and responsibility.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mapleton-Flatlands
Jessica was amazing with Lola! She communicated with us throughout the entire time, was very flexible with our schedule, and was there every day exactly when we needed her. She was reliable, friendly, and made us feel completely comfortable while we were away. Most importantly, Lola absolutely loved her, which meant a lot to us. You can tell Jessica really cares about the pets she works with and takes the time to make them feel comfortable. We had a great experience with her and would definitely book her again. Highly recommend!

There’s really no one we trust Bailey with more than Ella. He’s not just “business” with her. She showers him with love and pays close attention to him. Her communication is amazing. Always letting us know when she notices anything. Out of the ordinary. We’re truly blessed to have found her.

Our puppy is a rescue and tends to be very skittish around strangers. Katie took the time out of her day to come and meet Nyx to cushion the pre-walk jitters, which meant a lot to us! Our anxious dog seemed to immediately take a liking to her and felt safe with her, so she was able to complete her walk with 0 issues. Katie was extremely communicative, thorough, and punctual. The detailed report card with many pictures gave us a lot of reassurance that Nyx was being properly cared for! She’s still a pup, so we appreciated that Katie also kept her on routine and on a personal note, we also really appreciated that she was optimistic and enjoyed spending time with our doggie! Thank you so much, Nyx can’t wait to see you again!
