About: Hi! I’m Izzy. I am an NYC native and animal enthusiast! My experience specifically lies in caring for senior cats/dogs, and I am currently learning the ins and outs of medicine administration in my free time to supplement this. I have cared for family, friends’, and clients’ pets ranging from 5-14 years old! I am working on updating my Red Cross Animal First Aid certification as well. If you want to arrange a meet & greet, I’d love to chat! I’m a full-time receptionist, but can definitely be flexible around my day job schedule with proper notice! I love taking care of pets as it’s a complete pivot from my normal monotony, and it feeds into my love of animals. I provide gentle, engaged care for pets, focused on learning specifically about each pet’s unique personality and needs. About: I have hands on experience caring for dogs. I have babysat and walked friends and family’s pets, and have always had a connection with animals. I am attentive, reliable, caring, and i’m committed to keeping your dog safe, happy, and exercised. I am so excited to spend some time with your babies! I have an open schedule. I am available from Monday-Sunday from 12-8, and can make up to two visits a day. Please message me at least a day beforehand, thank you! I will not be keeping pets at my house or stay overnight at a clients, but I will ask that you let me know of your pets medical needs, emergency contacts, vet info, etc so I can insure their safety as well as mine. This is the second time we have used Shay's services within the past year; and like the first time, she did not disappoint. Prompt, informative, courteous and most importantly loving to our 2 shihtzus. They in turn respond well to her. Max is temperamental and prone to the occasional nip. But max loves Shay, permitting her to rub his belly (a great sign of trust) Fluffy is always in need of human contact and he got that by sitting next to or on Shay 😆 Shay kept us informed about her arrivals, walks, and feedings. Sending pictures and videos. My girlfriend wanted no one else to take care of our pups while we were away. About: I've had dogs all of my life and have a sweet dachshund, Worm, at home now. My home is prepared for smaller and medium sized dogs and nothing intimidates me when it comes to the care of a pet. I work from home most days and have a flexible schedule so pups get plenty of time for walks, play, rest and cuddles. If your dog enjoys the parks, we typically head to Bush Terminal Park or Prospect Park for longer walks. My dog, Worm, is ready to keep another pup company. I can crate as needed or desired. When out for walks, I'll walk one dog at a time for safety of both pets and others on the street until everyone is comfortable.

About: When I was a child my family owned and cared for dogs, horses, bunnies, and chickens which meant I became an animal caretaker at a very young age. In addition to helping to feed, groom, and clean up after our pets, I was aIso responsible for administering our dog’s daily diabetes insulin. My childhood prepared me well for becoming a dog mom to a longhaired dapple Dachshund in early 2021. I cannot imagine my life without him and cannot wait for your furbaby to become his furbuddy! I'm also the proud owner of Boogs & Boop, a small business specializing in pet accessories, with a portion of proceeds donated to supporting animal shelters and dogs in need. This commitment reflects my deep passion for caring for dogs and their well being. I work full time from home, so Dog Mom is my 24/7 job title. I am conveniently located near a park so go on at least two walks a day, weather permitting. DAYCARE CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: 1. Daycare refers to drop off between 8-9am and 5-6pm, a 8-hour period. 2. Pick-up and drop-off times for Daycare must be scheduled in advance through direct message. 2. Late arrivals of more than 30 minutes will be charged an additional $5 per 30 minutes that you are late. Late arrivals risk interfering with other appointments, so this fee helps to accommodate that change. 3. Drop offs before 8am are subject to an Early Drop-off Fee of $10 per hour. 4. Pick up after 6pm are subject to a Late Pick-up Fee of $10 per hour. 5. Pick up after 9pm is considered boarding which is subject to double my Daycare rate. HOUSE-SITTING CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: During house sits, I typically continue my normal schedule with other pet care clients (walks, drop-ins, etc.), so I may be out of the home for portions of the day. If your pet requires near-constant or 24/7 care, please let me know in advance. I may be able to accommodate, but this would require adjustments for my own dog and existing clients and may involve an additional fee. I care for pets in my home since I also have my furbaby to attend to. This means there’s always healthy treats, pee pads, dog wipes, and pet first aid products on hand. I understand that being away from your furbaby can be nerve-wracking, but you can rest assured that I will provide clear communication and photo updates when your pet is in my care. I do not have an attached yard, but the park is a hop, skip, and a jump away, so it’s easy to take potty breaks whenever necessary. PLEASE NOTE: 1. Please arrive with your pet on a leash. I am a strong advocate for pet safety and leash laws. 2. Due to Covid-19 precautions, I do not allow guests into my home, but would be happy to meet you downstairs at drop-off and pick-up times. 3. I will ALWAYS send photos throughout the appointment, even if not directly requested. INCLEMENT WEATHER DISCLAIMER: I take all weather advisories seriously. When the heat index is above 90°F degrees or windchill is below 20°F walks will be cut short for your pet's safety and for my own. Walks will consist of “doing their business” then returning indoors. Regular service is maintained in the rain, but will be postponed due to thunder, lightning, or blizzards. Walks may be early or delayed depending on the forecast. I will always communicate with dog owners if a change of plan is necessary due to dangerous weather and temperatures. Thank you for your understanding.
