“Pamela was so caring and detailed oriented. Went above and beyond with our pooch, and had so much patience with the ongoing communication and flexibility of timing. So reliable; We appreciate her very much 🧡”

“Karina is a lifesaver. She agreed to a last minute check in on my girl Daisy after my flight got delayed 4 hours. She's always right on time, proactive with communicating and checking in, and Daisy has been very happy with the walks.”

About: Hi! I’m Izzy. I am an NYC native and animal enthusiast! My experience specifically lies in caring for senior cats/dogs, and I am currently learning the ins and outs of medicine administration in my free time to supplement this. I have cared for family, friends’, and clients’ pets ranging from 5-14 years old! I am working on updating my Red Cross Animal First Aid certification as well. If you want to arrange a meet & greet, I’d love to chat! I’m a full-time receptionist, but can definitely be flexible around my day job schedule with proper notice! I love taking care of pets as it’s a complete pivot from my normal monotony, and it feeds into my love of animals. I provide gentle, engaged care for pets, focused on learning specifically about each pet’s unique personality and needs. All pets deserve the world, and I just want to make sure they’re comfortable and happy! For any housesitting requests, I’ll ask plenty of questions during the M&G to ensure I’m taking care of your home the way you want me to, as well.
“Only two bookings so far, but I’m already so happy to have Yahnzy on our team! Upon our meet and greet she quickly got down and started genuinely engaging with my dog and cats, which is always a big green flag for me. She has great communication, a warm disposition, and seems extremely knowledgeable.”

About: Hi there! As a dog caretaker, I am warm, patient, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented. No amount of information is too much information—please share whatever will help you and your furry baby feel cared for. I began my journey by taking care of a friend’s husky mix puppy two years ago and have been dog-sitting ever since! The feedback I often receive is that even the most hyper active dogs become calmer in my presence overtime. My schedule is fairly flexible because I am in the arts! I can work with your busy schedule and coordinate a time that works best for you both. In your home, I like to replicate the dog’s usual routine. I am very vigilant and like to keep with up with their pace. I am willing to work with you to support any of your friend’s special needs, nuances or quirks.

About: Hi there! Here's a quick intro to my skillset: • 11+ years dog sitting, walking, & boarding • Personal & professional experience with caring for dogs of every age, including puppies and seniors • Ability to administer oral, topical, & injectable medications • Familiarity with crate, leash & potty training methods • Knowledge of basic grooming, including poodles/double-coats I hope to see your pup soon! As a student training for a fall passage along El Camino, I like to get outside and explore as much as possible! I'm an avid birder and particularly love trail hikes, though I make sure to leave the binos at home when there's furry company. As an early bird/night owl (and on summer vacation!) my schedule is flexible and can readily be adjusted to accommodate last-minute requests. I hope to meet you soon! I was born into a home with a beagle, 25 pounds of guile and cunning. Two decades past, hounds have trained me well. All doors will be closed, gates latched, bags kept out of reach. Raisins? Never heard of them.
About: I’m originally from the East Coast, where I raised and trained my black lab Rosie. In addition to taking your dog for a walk to get their legs moving and enjoy the outdoors, I’m also happy to incorporate any training that you may be working on. I loved training Rosie (taking her through Canine Good Citizens) and in another life probably would have become a dog trainer! I am an active runner and also training for the NYC marathon this year, so if your doggo likes to run I’m happy to take them with me to get some miles in! While I don’t have a dog of my own, I’ve been an affectionate dog aunt of many roommates’ and friends’ dogs and would frequently watch their dogs while they were away! I am not currently working as I am about to start grad school, so I am very flexible and have lots of time when it comes to taking care of your pups! I will make sure to stick to their routine as closely as possible, and give them time to adjust. I always want to ensure that your pet is comfortable and that having a new human around is as least disruptive as possible!
“Avary is absolutely amazing! Extremely professional, communicative, and our Wrigley loves her! I appreciated her going the extra mile to be extremely thoughtful about the details (ex: treats, potty breaks). Avary saved the day for us when we unexpectedly had to head out of town! We can’t want to keep working with her!”

About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was in high school and have been surrounded by furry friends all of my life. I am well acquainted with taking care of any aged animal, be it a puppy or an older animal. I am open to pet care for both dogs and cats, so if you need assistance with both I am more than happy to help! I currently work 10AM-6PM, so I am available to assist in the mornings and evenings. I am also available to come all day on the weekends. I have a cat to keep your animal extra company, and have a large 1 bedroom apartment so there is plenty of space for your pet to spread out. Also, I can make room for a crate if necessary.
About: I've had dogs all of my life and have a sweet dachshund, Worm, at home now. My home is prepared for smaller and medium sized dogs and nothing intimidates me when it comes to the care of a pet. I work from home most days and have a flexible schedule so pups get plenty of time for walks, play, rest and cuddles. If your dog enjoys the parks, we typically head to Bush Terminal Park or Prospect Park for longer walks. My dog, Worm, is ready to keep another pup company. I can crate as needed or desired. When out for walks, I'll walk one dog at a time for safety of both pets and others on the street until everyone is comfortable.
Borough Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first time ever using a dog walker, and I was honestly pretty nervous about it, but Ella made the whole experience easy and reassuring! She sent tons of photos and updates during the walk, which immediately put me at ease. She communicates proactively, asks questions, and clearly pays attention to details. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone reliable and attentive with your pet!

Aurora watched my dog and made me feel exceptionally comfortable. She came before hand for a meet and greet and showed up exactly on time. She was prompt walking Lily and always sent updates and pics! Much appreciated her good communication skills, punctuality and her full reliability.
We will absolutely be reaching out to Emily next time we need a sitter/walker. She was very understanding of our anxious/reactive dog’s needs and our velcro dog’s desire for extra special attention. She was on time and communicative and took so much stress off a big day!
