“Amanda is such a joy! She has been so kind and patient to gain the trust of our tough little customer of a dog. I appreciate her very much & highly recommend her to take care of any pet she meets.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 8 years old. My family has had dogs of many different sizes and breeds, from small to large dogs, so I’m comfortable around a variety of personalities and care routines. Although I no longer have a dog of my own after losing her to old age, I currently have two beautiful cats that I’ve cared for over the past two years. I’m mostly free right now and currently looking for a new job, so I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available during weekdays and weekends and don’t mind different schedules or routines. I mostly just try to spend time with them and make sure they’re okay and comfortable. I follow the owner’s routine and instructions and make sure the pets are fed, walked, and not feeling lonely.
“Thank you so much for working with us Megan. Athena really enjoyed walking with you and she is not quick to take to people so that says a lot! Looking forward to working with you again. ☺️💕”

“Lizi and her friends were amazing! The walk with Enzo was easy and fun, despite my fur baby's size and weight)) I'll definitely book again and recommend it to all my friends!”

“Cagri is reliable, communicative, and gentle. Cagri is quick to respond, was willing to talk to Rover to troubleshoot scheduling, and even offered to take Tofu on a free short walk during the meet & greet. Everyday he arrives on time, takes Tofu on long walks, and texts me if any concerns arises. Cagri is great!”

About: I've been walking, sitting, and watching dogs for about 10 years now. Started out helping neighbors and friends with their dogs and it kind of snowballed from there. Since then I've done pretty much everything: daily walks, quick drop-ins when someone's stuck at work, overnight stays, dogs staying with me for a few days at a time. The big thing for me is that I work remotely, so I'm home most of the day. That means I'm not cramming a walk in before rushing off somewhere, and I can usually be flexible with last-minute drop-ins or schedule changes. Dogs in my care get real attention, not just a quick in-and-out. I've spent a lot of time with puppies, so I'm used to the extra patience that takes. Reinforcing potty training, redirecting chewing, keeping them from bouncing off the walls. I've also cared for older dogs who move slower, might be on medication, or just need someone paying closer attention day to day. When dogs stay at my place, I treat it like they're hanging out at a second home, not being "watched." I always send photos and updates so people aren't left wondering how things are going. What sets me apart is just consistency. 10 years, lots of different dogs, lots of different situations. Since I work remotely, dog care fits in pretty seamlessly throughout my day rather than being squeezed into a couple set windows. I can step away for a walk whenever it's needed, whether that's one walk a day or four or five spread out for a puppy or a dog with a medical need. I'm not tied to a desk or an office schedule, so if a dog needs a midday potty break, an extra walk because of weather, or just more frequent outside time, that's easy for me to make happen. On weekends it's even more flexible since I don't have any work commitments at all. Basically, however many walks or check-ins a dog needs on a given day, I can build my schedule around that instead of the other way around. Here's the updated version with that detail worked in: In my home: When a dog stays with me, they get free run of the space, and there's plenty of it. We're a 3-floor home with a backyard, so dogs aren't cooped up in one room all day. If owners are comfortable with yard access, that's available too, otherwise I'll stick to walks only, whatever the owner prefers. I keep a consistent routine with feeding, walks, and bathroom breaks, and there's plenty of downtime as well, whether that's cuddling on the couch or just hanging out nearby while I work. If there are multiple dogs, I keep an eye on how they're getting along so everyone's comfortable. I also dog-proof anything that needs it ahead of time, like putting away food, trash, or anything chewable. In a client's home: For drop-ins or walks at someone's place, I stick to their normal routine as closely as possible. Same feeding times, same walking route if they have one, same rules around furniture or crating. I treat the home with respect, lock up when I leave, and make sure the dog has water, has gone to the bathroom, and is settled before I go. For longer stays in a client's home, I keep things running the way the owner normally would rather than doing things my way.
“Layla came every evening for 10 nights to take our pup out for walks while I recovered from surgery. She was punctual, reliable and friendly with our reluctant, nervous dog. She got Rosie to look forward to seeing her and was so patient and sweet with Rosie. We’d absolutely book Layla again, Rosie will look forward to seeing her friend! Highly recommend”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 9 and although I don’t currently have a dog my roommate does so I have gotten continuous experience caring for him. My old dog was very anxious so I have experience caring for easily stressed dogs. I am currently working full time in person so will unfortunately only be available for continuous sitting on the weekends as I wouldn’t want to leave the dog alone for the whole day while I’m at work. I will follow whatever instructions you have for me exactly. Beyond that, I love playing with and interacting with dogs so I will be sure to keep them entertained for the duration of the stay!
“Elisabeth was wonderful to coordinate with and was extremely responsive and prompt. She gave a detailed account of his walk with many photos. I would love to work with her again!”

“Ismail is a very reliable dog sitter. He walked our 2 year old Australian shepherd twice a day in the morning and night, and was very responsive if there were any issues or other communication. Highly recommend him!”
About: I’m a Park Slope-based dog walker with years of experience caring for pets of all ages and demeanors. I love getting to know each dog and tailoring every walk to their unique needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, young, or senior. My goal is to make every outing safe, engaging, and fun, so your dog comes home happy! I’m currently doing freelance video production work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I am available most weekdays and some weekends, days and nights. I live in a clean, first-floor studio apartment with no pets or children, creating a quiet, low-stress environment for visiting dogs. I prioritize safety, close supervision, and plenty of affection to help them feel comfortable and at ease.
“Sarah was AMAZING! Oliver is a high energy 11 month old puppy and she was so happy to take him on a nice long walk to tire him out. Sarah hit me up to ask important information about Oliver's needs and even left Oli a little treat! so happy to know i have someone reliable to come give my baby boy some enrichment. :D”

“Jiatong has been great with my dog! She walks her a few times a week and is very responsive and communicative. She made the extra trek for a meet and greet before starting so that I could rest assured that my dog would be comfortable with her. She is reliable and a true dog lover and you know she will look after your fur baby as her own. Highly recommend her!”

Rochelle was amazing with our dog Pinot and clearly very dedicated to taking great care of any pet she walks. She setup a meet and greet and asked all of the questions to make sure she understood Pinot’s specific needs. I really appreciated how thorough she was and super easy to work with especially for our last minute request! Will definitely work with her again!

Daniel is kind, patient with our anxious adopted dog Jenna, flexible with scheduling, and has helped us out many times with last-minute walks and boarding. He pays attention to our dog’s mood and nervousness and I can tell she is very comfortable with him. I feel confident that she is safe when he’s caring for her.

Brianna is a wonderful dog walker! She was always reliable, dependable, and took such great care of our dog. Our dog absolutely loved going on walks with her and was always so excited to see her. We felt completely comfortable knowing our dog was in such good hands. I would highly recommend Brianna to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!

Natalie has been an extremely considerate and reliable walker for my senior dog. She asked thoughtful questions about my dog’s routine and needs at the outset, and gives helpful updates after the walks. My typically shy and anxious dog seems to have taken to Natalie really well!

Jorge was absolutely fantastic with Dahlia and we would rebook with him in a heartbeat! Dahlia can be a bit of a diva—especially with new dog walkers—and he handled it with aplomb, gaining her trust with patience and kindness. He also provided extremely thorough daily summaries and photos of their walks, and was responsive, communicative, and flexible when needed. Thank you Jorge for taking such good care of our girl!

Tracy is our favorite AND go-to dog sitter whenever we need help or are traveling. The first (and only) person we ask. Our dog, Ella, always seems happier when we come back than when left. Tracy’s communication is excellent, she’s on time, & Ella always seems to have tons of fun on her walks. Always a 10/10 from us!
