I will make sure when you return home that it looks exactly as you left it. I know personally the types of messes cats love to make, so I will make sure that litter boxes are cleaned, hair is swept up and any food cans or other waste is disposed of by the time you return home.

Let me know what your cat's typical schedule is like. Most cat's thrive on routine and familiarity and it puts them at ease to have the same schedule, even while you're away. Also let me know any medications or additional care they may need before hand as well as any symptoms or side effects to look out for.
A typical day
I know that every cat has their own unique personality and I love taking time to get to know them! At first, I usually give them some time to warm up to me and show me their personality. If they seem interested in playing, I'd love to spend some time playing with them and their favorite toys! If they're super affectionate and want all the pets, they'll spend the whole visit purring on my lap! If they're uncertain about me, I will try different strategies to win them over, from offering treats to sitting on the floor quietly so they know I'm not a threat.

Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover my whole life! I rescued my current cat off the street and previously I had two incredible special needs cats that I supported through their whole lives. I love to meet new cats and learn who they are and how to gain their trust and put them at ease. I have experience with: - Oral medication (pills and liquid) - Gels and creams applied to the skin - Ear and eye drops - Inhalers - Monitoring respiratory rate - Injections - Subcutaneous fluid treatments I am pet first aid and CPR certified by the American Red Cross. I know how scary it can be to leave your pets behind, especially if they require medication or special care, so I will always make sure that all of their needs are met and you receive a load of updates and pictures to help you enjoy your time away without worry!

Briana is the best! She watched my kitty for a week and sent the best photos and detailed updates. Rue loved her and cuddled on her lap several times which she does not do with many people! I had complete peace of mind the entire time I was away. Would highly recommend!
Briana was great with Linus who can be somewhat shy and elusive with strangers. We really appreciated all of the communication and photos. When we got home Linus seemed healthy and energetic and everything was in perfect order. We were very happy with all aspects of the care!
