Availability
As above, I take pet care seriously, and depending on the dog's needs (activity requirements, skin sensitivity, bladder, etc.) I try to take them on at least 2-3 walks per day. I have a dog bed and crate (dog under 45 lb) as well as toys.

Safety, trust & environment
I treat my pets as my own, and ensure they acclimate to the new space smoothly. I have a cloud-based-access camera that I leave on if I need to step out for a bit (pet is crated), and I also live in an apartment building that is pet-friendly with security cameras throughout. The neighborhood is full of families and dogs from small to mid-sized, and we are about a 10 minute walk to Prospect Park. I always keep the dogs on-leash when outdoors. I also follow the Original Owners/Clients processes and rules to the utmost degree. Lastly, I am very communicative, can be reached very quickly over call or text, and I check in periodically with Clients to let them know their Pet is doing really well.

Information Jacob G. would like to know about your pet
I believe the following 10 Questions are crucial to know about the dog ahead of time: 1. Are they good around people? 2. How about with Kids specifically? 3. Are they good around other dogs? 4. How about other pets like cats specifically, or birds outside? 5. Does your pet bark and/or have separation anxiety? 6. What are their favorite activities? 7. How many times per day are they accustomed to going outside? 8. Any allergies, skin conditions, or physical handicaps to know of? 9. Is your Pet house trained and/or crate trained? 10. Does your pet understand any commands?
A typical day
Around my apartment there are some patches of plants, and up the block, is a greenfield to run (on-leash). But more often than not, after every walk, we take the stairs for exercise, and I always ensure there's enough playtime in the house. I have been around big dogs for years so I am totally fine with some dog play or nipping as long as they understand the limits. I also have a long tug-o-war chew toy, tennis balls, squeaky toys, and have a ton of energy myself to run around the apartment to keep them going.

Energetic Dog Lover and Sitter
Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs (both large and small) and have had dogs in my families home for over 15 years. In our apartment my wife and I have been dog sitting (great Dane, Shih-Tzu, Golden Retreiver, Pits, ) and fostering rescues from Texas and teaching them how to navigate the city, acclimate smoothly, and learn obedience such as working with food aggression, rewarding good behavior, and ensuring a warm and active household. I am very active in my day-to-day in that although I enjoy indoors, I also try to get outside for walks myself. I am a content producer so my job is more often than not, working from home. I can also make arrangements to be at home during boarding and/or sitting times. My wife also works from home half the week so 1-2 people are here. And we love to send funny photo updates throughout the stay.
Reviews

Jacob was so so caring and responsive and helpful watching my tofu. She has a new best friend in him and will hopefully be back soon!

Our dog loves staying with Jacob. He is great with our dog, taking him to the dog park and just playing with him. They have so much fun together and when Ebin arrives, he is looking around for his toy or ball that he remembers from the last time. Great feedback while we are away, and super flexible too.

Jacob was a wonderful sitter for our sweet old lab while we were away for a long weekend! He was super communicative and made sure Simon was comfortable and at ease. He was great about making sure Simon got his daily allergy meds and when we picked him up Simon was clearly in great spirits. We will absolutely send Simon over for sleepovers again!

Jacob was a great host for Kenny. He communicated very openly and made us at ease to leave Kenny with him for a week. We were very happy with the pictures and videos we received while away. He was very accommodating with our schedule both for drop-off and pick-up and Kenny seemed to have lots of fun during his week in their care. I'm sure Kenny would love to visit again!
