I work from home, so pet care easily fits into my daily routine. Dogs get regular exercise, backyard playtime, cuddles, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Evenings often include extra outdoor time or snuggles on the couch—our favorite way to unwind together.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets, I focus on keeping them comfortable, calm, and happy. I follow their usual feeding, exercise, and rest routines, give them plenty of affection, and pay close attention to their moods and needs. When they are here with me, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for just like they would with their own family.

Information Patricia L. would like to know about your pet
I ask that your adult dog is fully house trained—though I know accidents can happen. I have helped house train puppies in the past. When you drop off your baby, I'd like to know as much as possible about their habits and needs including... Number and timing of meals/medications? How does your pup indicate they need to go out to pee or poop? Treats they like? Allowed to have people food as treats? Favorite toys or games? Does your pup pull when on leash? (important to know for larger breeds) Is your pup possession/food/dog aggressive? What commands does he/she know? Any other little quirks or habits? And anything else you can tell me that will help me make your puppy feel welcome and comfortable. :)
A typical day
For walks, we can travel all around the neighborhood and we have several parks nearby, including a few dog parks fairly near by. We are also lucky enough to live within walking distance to Coney Island and could explore the boardwalk on weekend days.

Work at Home Dog & Cat Lover
Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m Patty, and my 16-year-old son and I are lifelong dog (and cat) lovers. I grew up with a Chocolate Lab (I still miss her every day!) and several cats, and my parents now have two Goldens who are part of every family gathering. Over the years we’ve shared our home with both big and small pups — including a sweet chihuahua who lived to a happy old age — so we’re comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. We’re the ones who stop to say hi to every dog at PetCo — my son even beats me to it most of the time! I work from home, which means your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. With a securely fenced backyard, outdoor playtime and potty breaks are always easy and frequent. Whether your dog is full of energy or loves a good cuddle, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. ❤️ Note: I host a small number of dogs at a time so they have company and a relaxed environment. Because of this, I’m not able to guarantee exclusive stays where a dog is the only guest in the home. If your dog requires being the only pet present, my home may not be the best fit.
Reviews

This is the 2nd time I booked with Patricia. My dog is a very skidish dog. Patricia made Cindy feel at ease. Cindy left happy. Thank you again for taking good care of my dog.
Patricia L. cancelled a booking within a day of the start date.

My dog had a great time, highly reccomended!

Patricia was great with Bruce. He had so much fun and she showed me so many pictures of him. I would definitely have her watch Bruce again. Thank you so much!
