I currently work from home, but my company’s office is located in SoHo, which is a dog-friendly neighborhood/office space. (In fact, we even have our own brand of nutritional dog treats and supplements!) 🦴 💡This gives me so much time to be present and available for your furry friends. I am naturally active person, so having a four legged personality by my side- will make it that much easier! 🗓️ Pet care is a daily adventure! They’ll get at least three walks throughout the day, and plenty of playtime in between. I make sure they’re stimulated enough to rest when they get home, too!

Additionally, I live a couple of blocks away from the HUGE, clean, illustrious Prospect Park, where dogs can make many friends during our daily and nightly walks. Most dogs in the area recognize me, and I am experienced with those who may still need a wee wee pad. I walk in the park, which are filled with trees, quiet, and have less foot traffic than the sidewalks. If on the street, we stay to specific routes - and not busy avenues to make sure there are plenty of safe spaces to sniff.

Information Alexon G. would like to know about your pet

✅ Inform me if your dog gets anxious or hyper excited around other dogs. If they tend to bark loudly at dogs when playing - I’d love to know that they are having a good time, and not anxious. ✅ Let me know how long it takes for your to get acclimated with new people; and the best way to warm up to them! If they bark when their human leaves the apartment, tell me as well, so I can alert my neighbors that everything is fine. ✅ PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BOWLS, BEDS, CRATES! If your dog is not trained, displays continuous aggressive behavior- or causes any damage to property, you have a fiduciary responsibility to all damages incurred. Booking is a confirmation that you have read this disclaimer and agree.

A typical day

☀️MORNING: will start with your furry BFF helping me get my steps in because summer bodies are made year round (ugh). About a 30-35 minute morning walk to Prospect Park where everyone is jogging, biking, or laying on the grass. For shorter walks, we will stay along a route in my immediate neighborhood that I have previously scouted, so it is easy and safe. We will stop to get an iced coffee, listen to The Daily podcast, and we are on our way. So many dogs are out in the morning, so this will be the perfect socializing time for us both. Most parents in the area know me, so rest assured - your furry friend will be safe. 🕛 MID DAY: quick stroll for 20 minutes to get their energy out, and relieve themselves after coming home and playing for a little. Depending on weather, this walk could be shorter, but always ends in a treat! 🌓 SUNSET: this last walk will mimic the morning one. I want your dog to be able to get as much mental stimulation before bed, and after dinner. These walks will typically happen after rush hour calms down, so there is less foot traffic, and more open space. Of course, I will stick to any previously discussed schedules. 💤 BEDTIME: I let dogs outside the apartment complex to relieve themselves, and come back in. Please provide a bed for overnight stays, so they feel less anxious and more at home. I meticulously clean the paws of all dogs after being outside. Please bring wipes. If you’d like me to give your dog a bath/brush in our apartment Pet Spa- please provide a towel as well.

Pet care experience

I have been a pet lover my entire life, since having a puppy at 3- to falling in love with them more and more everyday! I even take care of my best friends adopted dog when she is out of town, as my therapist recommends animal love to keep me smiling!

Highly recommend Alexon! She took time for a brief meet & greet before the first walk and my dog was playful with her right off the bat. She is very communicative and accommodating. Especially convenient for those in Flatbush area. My dog was super calm when I got home from work hours later. Will book again!

Alexon gave great feedback during the day on how my puppy was doing, and it's so clear she truly cares for and loves him. She really stepped up for me when I needed puppy care!

Alexon was such a lifesaver with my pup last minute! The questions she sent me about his care upon booking made me feel very secure about their time together! Alexon was also super flexible and understanding! Thank you so much for taking care of Hux for the day!
