She knew how to correct his puppy biting. She made sure that she fed him and mixed in peanut butter to ensure that he ate his food. She did a wonderful job taking care of Honor for the last 3 months. He was well taken care of. Also, her son Teo loves playing with Honor. He got socialized well when Patricia takes Honor with her to pick up her son. I would book her again in the future.”

She updated me throughout the day with pictures and videos of him - that gave me a peace of mind. She send me texts about how he was when I left him and pretty soon Popcorn was very comfortable in Yiqi's house. I love how her daughter was so into playing with Popcorn which helps him relax and feel comfortable. I appreciate Yiqi's understanding when I was running late - she was not rushing me. When I finally picked up Popcorn - she gave me the latest update with what she did with Popcorn and how his walk was. All in all - Yiqi was very professional and loving to my dog and myself. The constant updates was a bonus to help me ease into Doggy Day Care. I have an upcoming trip so I will be considering leaving Popcorn with her and her family that week.”

About: Hi there! I’ve always been surrounded by friends’ dogs (and other pets!) growing up. I remember learning how to walk, bathe and understand their dogs in elementary school and always begging my parents to have a fur baby of our own. I’ve learned a great deal through their personal journeys and am looking to have a dog of my own in the future! Your pet will be greatly loved, respected, and safe while you’re away without worry. And of course, updates and photos are guaranteed! I’m greatly detail oriented, meticulous and compassionate about all furry friends. I hope to love them like they’re my own. I work full time remote so I’ll be home fully during the week to care for your furry companion. I’m super transparent on when I’ll need to step out during weekends for commitments or errands and will let you know ahead of time. Despite being fully flexible, I would only accept boarding of dogs without any intense separation anxiety that may result in accidents in the home or continuous barking that would invoke noise complaints in my apartment building. For a suitable match, I would only board dogs that can be alone for minimum 4-5 hours. If they can only tolerate being alone <4 hours, we won’t be a great fit! I thank you ahead of time for your understanding and I’m always open for a chat if we want to talk more details! My apartment is an elevator and pet friendly building and we have a rooftop for fresh air and space. I live with my partner, no pets and with occasional friends that may visit (if your pet is okay with this)! There are parks nearby for long or short walks as well. My space is kept clean and neat at all times too! I never use harsh cleaning products in my home and I also don’t have any plants that may harm pets as well.

Crate-comfort for short periods is important, especially for pups who may get anxious when left alone for quick errands. Day sitting is available for a minimum of 7 hours within a 14-16 hour day (pet needs to do well 8 hours overnight), with a maximum 3-hour break for other tasks; usually in the morning (this also applies to boarding). Overnight stays are generally limited to once every 3 booked days. I remain mindful of each pet’s boundaries and training.
