I am attentive, reliable, caring, and i’m committed to keeping your dog safe, happy, and exercised. I am so excited to spend some time with your babies! I have an open schedule. I am available from Monday-Sunday from 12-8, and can make up to two visits a day. Please message me at least a day beforehand, thank you! I will not be keeping pets at my house or stay overnight at a clients, but I will ask that you let me know of your pets medical needs, emergency contacts, vet info, etc so I can insure their safety as well as mine. About: Hello! My name is Christine and I've decided to work at Rover in order to provide happiness to the owners and the pets. I was initially raised in NC with 5 dogs and 2 cats before moving to NY. Over the years living in the city, I've had 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 bird, and 2 rodents which I cared and still care for deeply. I've always had an attachment with animals and make sure I give them the same amount of love as well as make sure that everything done is by the owners standards and approval. With the say of the owner, I will also provide any special treatment and make sure everything will go as smoothly as possible. I understand that every animal should be treated fair and carefully based on their situation and that is why I decided to join; so I can make sure they are treated how they are supposed to be. Currently, I am working to get a Masters certificate in dog training and apply for a bachelor's in Animal Behavior to help train difficult dogs and service dogs in the future. I'm currently a freelancer and available at all times. I walk one dog at 9:30 PM occasionally who has hip dysplasia. I am willing to work all 7 days a week and holidays. I own an American Akita currently in which I need constant training and patience. I have helped my dog adapt to raw foods along with kibble so her digestive system is stronger. One of the most important things for taking care of clients pets is to ask questions in order to keep their animals as happy and as safe as possible. I will make sure to give updates and reports to owners after each session so they are aware of anything that happened (or if nothing happened and they're just being a good girl/boy!)

About: Hi! I'm Janis—a college student on summer break, excited to meet your pet(s)! I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals since I was young—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish—you name it! Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs— from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as large breeds like Pit Bulls, Samoyeds, and Labradors. I am open to making exceptions for some large breeds depending on their behavior and after a meet-and-greet. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained experience walking and handling anxious dogs. My experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant has given me strong familiarity with handling medications, special diets, and injury care. I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable following specific care instructions to ensure your pet’s safety and well-being. I’m very responsive and make sure pet parents always feel connected by sending frequent photo and video updates. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and bond with them through the activities they enjoy most. I’m currently on summer break, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m able to spend most of the day with them, with exceptions for errands, but they will never be left alone, as I live with family. I provide at least 2–3 walks or potty breaks per day, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s needs and routine. I also accept last-minute bookings whenever possible! I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication at all times. I live in a house with a fenced front yard, but your pet will always be supervised when outside. During walks, I try to avoid streets with a lot of traffic to help pets feel secure, especially in new environments. I always pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I live with my family, so pets will never be left alone if I had to run out, and I always communicate this clearly with owners ahead of time. I currently don’t have other pets in my Brooklyn home aside from fish, which allows me to give your pet my full attention. I can also follow instructions like crating or separating pets if needed.

About: I grew up with dogs of all kinds (German shepard, Pekinese, chihuahuas, Pomeranians, golden retrievers) and have always looked after family and friends dogs while away since elementary school! I have two dogs of my own! I am currently working part time as a medical assistant in outpatient psychiatry. On my days off, I love hanging out with my dogs, teaching them new tricks, long walks along the shore, going to parks and going on runs together! I have a private home with two friendly malteses who are always looking for new friends! I’m also a nursing student and love to do my research on pet nutrition (macros/micros) and am always looking for healthy alternatives for my pets and I!

She sent photo/video updates every day I was gone, which honestly made the trip so much more relaxing. Litter box clean, feeding on point, and she even picked up on him being a little mopey one day and gave him some extra snuggle time without me even asking. Also grabbed my package that was outside the door, which was such a nice bonus. I came home to a happy, chill cat and zero stress. 10/10, would book again in a heartbeat. About: Trained my current dog (Buddy 7 years old) to be patient, well-behaved and potty trained. I have also administered medication to my previous pup, Champion. In which I would administer insulin to ensure his blood sugar was optimal for his health. I also have a green cheek conure, and red eared slider, demonstrating my love of animals! I also occasionally board a cute Pomeranian named Sassy. I would be able to see your pets on weekends, long weekends (holidays) and able to make accommodations. I am also available after work if needed for walks or potty breaks for your dog. I will care for your animal as if they were my own family. I will always ensure I am available for your inquiries or questions during my stay, and follow any directions given when caring for your pet.
