About: Hi! I'm Janis—a current college student on a gap semester, excited to meet your pet(s)! I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals since I was young—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish—you name it! Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs— from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as large breeds like Pit Bulls, Samoyeds, and Labradors. I am open to making exceptions for some large breeds depending on their behavior and after a meet-and-greet. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained experience walking and handling anxious dogs. My experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant has given me strong familiarity with handling medications, special diets, and injury care. I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable following specific care instructions to ensure your pet’s safety and well-being. I’m very responsive and make sure pet parents always feel connected by sending frequent photo and video updates. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and bond with them through the activities they enjoy most. I’m currently on a gap semester, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m able to spend most of the day with them, with exceptions for errands, but they will never be left alone, as I live with family. I provide at least 2–3 walks or potty breaks per day, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s needs and routine. I also accept last-minute bookings whenever possible! I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication at all times. I’m primarily based in Brooklyn, where I live in a house with a fenced front yard and provide most of my pet care services. I also occasionally stay at a second home in Pasadena, Maryland with a large fenced backyard and offer care locally there when I’m in the area. I do not transport pets between locations– services are always provided in one consistent environment to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety. During walks, I take a cautious approach by starting in quieter areas with minimal traffic to help pets feel secure, especially in new environments. I always pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I live with my family, so pets will never be left alone if I had to run out, and I always communicate this clearly with owners ahead of time. I currently don’t have other pets in my Brooklyn home aside from fish, which allows me to give your pet my full attention. I can also follow instructions like crating or separating pets if needed.
“Barbara is the best! She took great care of Bun. Bun can be messy sometimes - Barbara left the apartment super clean! Her communication was timely. I would definitely have Barbara back next time we leave town”

“Tracy was just amazing and went above and beyond, was always on time and made sure to keep in good contact with me I will definitely be contacting Tracy for any pet needs”

About: I grew up with dogs of all kinds (German shepard, Pekinese, chihuahuas, Pomeranians, golden retrievers) and have always looked after family and friends dogs while away since elementary school! I have two dogs of my own! I am currently working part time as a medical assistant in outpatient psychiatry. On my days off, I love hanging out with my dogs, teaching them new tricks, long walks along the shore, going to parks and going on runs together! I have a private home with two friendly malteses who are always looking for new friends! I’m also a nursing student and love to do my research on pet nutrition (macros/micros) and am always looking for healthy alternatives for my pets and I!
About: I’ve taken care of pets since 15. I gained all of my experience that I have today through taking care of neighbors, friends, colleagues, and family’s pets. I am a loving, kind, caring, and patient person. I learned so much from caring for animals, that I adore them so much! Also additional, I have experience with puppies, kittens, and senior pets. I’m currently a college student, my classes are held online. Which gives me plenty of time to spend with the doggies. My weekends are busy but I can do mornings only. Because the weekends are the only days I have to finish my college work. I care for my clients pets like if they were my own. I make sure to make my clients pets feel as comfortable and safe as possible, like if they were in their own home. I love taking my time to get to know my clients pets because each pet has their own personality! I also make sure to follow any rules or meal plans that my clients leave for their pets.

“Aleksander is a life saver. He made himself available with very short notice to drop in on my cat while I was out of town. He is friendly and conscientious.”

“Another great experience overall. This was our second time scheduling Lucy to look after our cats. Communication was easy and responsive, which made everything feel stress-free. Lucy took wonderful care of our cats, and the updates showed that everyone was comfortable and happy. It was a real relief knowing the cats were in good hands while away. Would absolutely book Lucy again.”

About: Hi besties! 🐾 :D Thank you for giving me a chance! 😊 I know it can feel like a lot to trust someone with your fur baby—but given the opportunity, I promise to treat them with all the love, care, and attention they deserve! 💖 A little about me—I feed the neighborhood cats and I'm a foster parent with the ASPCA, so caring for animals is truly at the heart of what I do. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, and I'll be fully present and doting while you're away. Your pet will be in safe, loving hands! 🐾 I'm so excited to care and meet you and your cute baby (long-term or short-term, whichever suits you)! Whether you have a cat, a dog, or both, my goal is simple: to make sure they feel safe, loved, and completely cared for while you're away. 💗 I've been a cat owner for almost 10 years—my sweet baby is literally the love of my life, and I know just how special that bond is. I follow him everywhere, and my favorite thing is snuggling together as we fall asleep. I understand the trust you're placing on me, and I don't take that lightly. From playtime and snuggles to keeping their routine consistent, I'll treat your cat like the royalty they are. 💕 I love dogs too! I've walked dogs before and genuinely enjoyed every moment with them. While I'm still building my experience with dogs, I'm attentive, caring, and will follow your instructions because no one knows your baby better than you. Whether it's sticking to their routine, practicing commands, or just making sure they get all the love and exercise they need—I've got your dog and yours back! 💛 If you have any requests, you can always message me! I'd love to help and make accommodations. ✨ I'm also a licensed esthetician specializing in waxing, and like so many others right now, I'm navigating a tough job market. Cat and dog care is such a joyful way to connect with precious babies (and meet awesome people like you!) while I work toward opening my own business. So if you're looking for someone to love on your baby, booking with me means you're also supporting a local small business owner chasing her dream. So if you can support me along the way, that would just be purrfect! 💖 :D If you're looking for someone reliable, caring, and who will genuinely adore your baby, I'd be so honored to meet you both. Let's link! :D I'm available pretty much anytime since I'm currently looking for work as a licensed waxer. So if you ever need a wax too—I'm here! :D I have the sweetest little cat at home and we're literally attached at the hip—I follow him around everywhere and we spend all our time cuddling, watching TV, and just being together. I can't function without him fr so he's always by my side lol. I love dogs too and have walked them before—I'm still learning but I'm super caring and will treat your baby with just as much love. I know pets need their space sometimes, so I'm good at reading (especially cats) their mood—whether they wanna play, cuddle, or just have me sit nearby and exist with them. I'll bring that same energy and care to your baby too! ✨
“Andy took fantastic care of our kitty while we were away, was super quick to communicate and sent great photos. Would absolutely have him drop in on our little Chutney again.”

About: *I only take one pet at a time for boarding and day care (two if they are in the same family). For additional pets, please inquire. My rates are firm and reflect the level of care I will provide* I know the feeling of never wanting to leave your fur baby behind. Wherever I went, if I couldn’t take my pets with me, then I would rather not go at all. But sometimes when work calls or when you simply need a little “me” time, we need help from someone we can trust to love and care for our pets while we’re away. I would love to be that person for you! My pet care experience comes from working at and caring for shelter animals, caring for stray cats, fostering cats and dogs, and loving my own beloved pets (My two dogs that have since passed - Terri, 18, Maple, 12, and cat - August, 4). I’m fear-free certified and have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs (especially cushings, CHF, CCD). I can help with giving oral medications and am open to assisting with other needs if you’re willing to teach. If your pet knows any commands or is in training, I’m happy to help reinforce their skills too (just let me know!). In addition to my experience above, I was also featured on NY1’s New Yorker of the week segment for my volunteer work at Animal Haven, an animal shelter based in Manhattan. My home is super senior-dog friendly with rugs all around the house so your pups don’t slip, pet oxygen for emergencies, plus strollers for pets with special needs. I work remote and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I offer pet day care, house sitting, and boarding. Please see my calendar for availability. HOUSE SITTING - overnight stays in your home DROP INS - 30 minutes and I’ll do whatever is needed in that time. This could be a combination of feeding, meds, walking, indoor playtime, etc. WALKS - 30 minutes, strictly outdoors walking, ideal for high-energy, active dogs. BOARDING - Your dog stays overnight at my place. I do a minimum of 2-4 walks a day, depending on your dogs needs. Owners must provide food for their pets, but I can also accommodate for an added fee of $5 per day (includes treats/meals). Please ask about food options and provide allergy info + food preferences if interested in that service. DAY CARE - Drop off for day care is between 7-9am and pick up is between 4-6pm. I will love and care for your pet the way you do for them. I treat every animal I care for like family, providing patience, space, and extra attention as needed. I’m super safety conscious and keen on details, so if there are any particular habits, routines, or schedules you’d like me to follow, if your pet is trained or undergoing training and there’s anything you want me to reinforce, or if your pet has special needs and requires special care, please reach out to me with those details. I am always willing and more than happy to work with you to make sure they are cared for and to give you peace of mind. Rest assured, you’ll be getting plenty of updates and photos from me!

About: I bring nine years of dedicated pet-care experience, primarily with my Siberian Husky, a breed known for its intelligence, energy, and unique behavioral needs. My background also includes occasional care for cats, giving me a well-rounded understanding of feline routines and temperaments. Whether it’s exercise, enrichment, or calm companionship, I’m committed to providing reliable, attentive, and compassionate care for every pet. I have flexible hours during the warmer months and love getting outside with my energetic Siberian Husky for regular walks and grooming. I can accept one-time bookings easily, though reoccurring schedules for walking should be discussed in advance since my availability may be limited. During November through April, walking services are more weather-dependent and may not always be open. Your dog is welcomed into a calm, dog-friendly home where they will have attention, companionship, and structure. Crate-comfort for short periods is important, especially for pups who may get anxious when left alone for quick errands. Day sitting is available for a minimum of 7 hours within a 14-16 hour day (pet needs to do well 8 hours overnight), with a maximum 3-hour break for other tasks; usually in the morning (this also applies to boarding). Overnight stays are generally limited to once every 3 booked days. I remain mindful of each pet’s boundaries and training. Please provide a clear list of your expectations for each home visit. • Furniture rules will match what they’re used to at home • Resource guarding or aggression cannot be accommodated for everyone’s safety My philosophy is simple: a dog should feel respected, understood, and appreciated every step of the way. ❤️
“We had a wonderful experience with Tia and would absolutely book with her again. From the start, she was incredibly responsive and communicative, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. She clearly genuinely cares about the pets she looks after, and it really showed in how attentive and thoughtful she was with our cat. We especially appreciated the regular updates and photos—she kept us well-informed and reassured the whole time. It was clear our cat was comfortable and well cared for, which means everything to us. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“I can’t recommend Jackey enough. She is truly wonderful, kind, and so thoughtful. She sent regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She was always responsive and communicative. Most importantly, she was incredibly sweet and patient with my cat, who isn’t the easiest and is currently going through a lot of changes in his life. It was clear she really cared about his comfort and emotional well-being, not just the basics. I came home to a calm, well-cared-for cat, and that means everything to me. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable animal person.”

About: Hi, I’m Katie :) (lately mostly on Wag! app..) I love ALL kinds of animals very much 🐾💕 offer ALL types of services (for pretty affordable prices) for single/multiple pets—walking, dropping-by, boarding, sitting, etc.. Several previous roommates have had different-breed cats/kittens, they loved me so much/always scratched on my door to let them in 🤭 became a ‘cat person’, too, thought I only was a ‘doggie’ one! took care of them with pleasure until I lived at those places.. In terms of doggies, there’s always somebody’s dog that needs to be walked/cared for; ADORED Upper West Side elderly friend’s CUTEST Dachshund, Marco 🐶, few years ago when I was helping his Dad recover from stroke.. lately mostly on Wag! App, way more reviews/re-books over there, had some CUTE walks already if you’d like to check me out there as well!;) haven’t had my own doggie yet (I only have a GORG Betta 🐠 Amadeo since January..💋), can’t wait to finally adopt one as soon as I live in a pet-friendly studio by myself! 🥰 I’m a not-yet-rich NYC Artist & Actress so available for these cute, FLEXIBLE jobs ASAP!! Thank you.. LOTS of availability right now for all the services for 1 or multiple pets—walking, dropping-by, sitting at your place or boarding at mine for 1 or multiple days! Well, I’m 1 of THE most trusted, loyal, & honest persons in the world & just as a Scorpio, too..😏 you’ll get to know me by yourself as well but whether it’s my place or yours, I’ll be VERY trustworthy in terms of your pets & belongings!
“Angel has been caring for my pets for over a year. She goes above and beyond in the care she gives them, and I know they are in safe hands with her. I love the pictures she sends every day!”

“Melissa is a life saver!! My cat was in great hands with her taking care of him while I was away for a few days. She's kind and understanding and does a wonderful job.”

Molly is awesome! I contacted her last minute in an emergency situation and she was very communicative and happy to step in to watch my girl. Gray was clearly very comfortable with her. Very thoughtful notes and pictures of each visit. She’ll be my go to from now on! Highly recommend

Charlotte is an incredible cat sitter who truly demonstrates her love and respect for animals through her personality. She put us at ease and helped us focus on enjoying our vacation. Although we initially planned to interview three different sitters, we hired Charlotte on the spot and cancelled the other appointments after meeting her. With each visit, she sent us high-quality photos and videos of our three kitties, showing how relaxed they were in her care. Even our incredibly shy boy cat came out to hang out with her. We feel truly blessed to have found Charlotte and will definitely use her services again in the future!
Kseniia was amazing! Communication was excellent throughout the trip, with regular updates and photos that provided real peace of mind. My senior cat has separation anxiety and occasionally goes outside the litter box, but Kseniia handled everything perfectly, keeping the litter boxes spotless and thoughtfully placing and replacing potty pads in his usual spots. It was clear that a great deal of care and attention went into every visit. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be booking with Kseniia again for future trips!

When I met Barbara, I could tell that she really likes animals. Both of my cats sensed it too because they walked right up to her to say hello. I knew right away they'd be in good hands. Barbara showed up every day when she said she would. She followed the instructions I left to a tee. Barbara is great!

Alexandra took great care of my senior cat. She was responsive and thorough and was clear about telling me in advance about one instance when she needed to do the visit at a slightly different time than I had requested. Her notes were detailed and she got to know my cat’s routine. Would definitely book her again.
Lena was great! She has visited us multiple times and has been wonderful with both of our cats. Tig can be shy and selective and he adores her. She also never skips Pumpkin’s little hallway strolls, which means a lot to us. We leave feeling at ease knowing they are in their hands. Thank you!

Lisseth is so wonderful and has taken such great care of our 3 cats! She is very responsive and gives great updates each day. The apartment and food bowls were kept so clean and her relationship with our kitties made us feel so at ease on vacation. We have booked with Lisseth multiple times and will definitely rebook!

Ellie did a phenomenal job taking care of my cat. I was a first-time Rover user, and she really helped me understand how our relationship would work through the app and she really walked me through Rover's protocols. Ellie is a patient, dutiful, and gentle pet sitter. My Junebug is a little skittish around strangers, but Ellie managed to coax her out of hiding after one visit! I also want to note that Ellie is super responsive and, despite the fact I traveled internationally while employing her services, I never one felt worried that I would lose touch. Needless to say, the next time I need a little kitty care, I'm contacting Ellie first. I would highly recommend her if you need a buddy for your fur baby.
