“This was my first time using rover and booking Elena. She was extremely professional and communicated throughout the entire process. My cat Hannah definitely loved her and appreciated the care, would highly recommend her.”

About: Hi! My name is Raquel. I’m a working professional. I love dogs and all animals. I most recently had a 10 year old shih-poo, Mocha, who I had to put down back in April due to several episodes of congestive heart failure. I had him since he was 2 months old and he brought me so many moments of happiness! I have since then fostered puppies and dogs with a local organization. Each experience is unique as each dog has their own personality! I find joy in getting to know them and caring for them, even if for a short while. I understand caring for your beloved pet requires patience, attention, and passion. I look forward to caring for your pet in the same way! I'm currently working from home so I will have plenty of time to care for your dog! I'm available on weekends and nights, upon request. I have a fenced yard and own a crate, if needed. I do not mind having your dog play around my home so that they have active time outside the crate.
“Tara was amazing! She did a great job taking care of my cat Jax and I can tell by the photos he loved her visits. She fed him 2x a day and cleaned his litter, bowls and the surrounding areas. She even took in my mail/packages! Jax was well taken care of and I truly enjoyed receiving photos of him during Tara's drop-ins. I'm so happy I took the recommendation to use Rover and found someone so trustworthy and caring towards my boy!”

About: I previously worked as a veterinary technician, which gave me hands on experience caring for animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m very comfortable handling both healthy pets and those that need extra attention or senior care. I’ve also had pets my entire life, so caring for animals is second nature to me. I’m patient, attentive, and able to quickly understand each pet’s unique needs, whether that’s exercise, medication support, or simply making them feel safe and comfortable. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I have three cats and a pitbull at home. I’m flexible and already plan my days around feeding, cleaning, and care. I enjoy making time for walks, visits, and keeping pets comfortable and on schedule. In my home, I care for pets by maintaining a clean, safe, and calm environment, following feeding schedules, and giving consistent attention and affection. I have experience with cats and a pitbull, so I understand different temperaments and energy levels. In a client’s home, I respect their routines, follow all instructions closely, and make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and cared for while their owners are away.
“Alexis was wonderful with my dog and cat. She met them a week before. My dog instantly got along with her. Alexis has a very kind and caring aura to her that my pets picked up on and were comfortable with her right away. My husband and I will be reaching out to her for any future trips.”

“This was my first time having Jazmeen to watch my two boys and she exceeded my expectations. She was on top of everything I asked to be completed and then some. Both Cosmo and Reggie were fond of her and I will most definitely be booking her for my next trip!”

“Eimy was excellent! This was our first time using the rover app. She was very communicative and willing to listen to our instructions. Happy to trust her in the future with our fur-baby.”

“Sabrina is wonderful! I am so appreciative that my kitties were in her care. She kept me informed and also was very responsive to their needs. I will not hesitate to request her services again when I need to. Thanks so much!”
About: Ive always loved animals since I was young, I have babysat many friends fur babies bathed them, took them on walks , fed them and I can say its a really nice experience with rover I have the chance to meet many more. Aside from work I don’t really have much going on, being able to babysit fur babies will allow me to be more active and productive. I currently have 2 small friendly dogs that will help them be more comfortable and we live near a park that will allow me to walk let them and let them run and use some of their energy, if any fur babies need to be crated we also have crates at home.
“Shes amazing! Very responsible, kind and patient. Huilin is the only person I trust to check on my little Eevee. Eevee is a nervous little bossy woman and Huilin is so gentle, understanding and patient with her. I’d give 100 stars if I could.”

“Jennifer was a fantastic dog walker & carer for our pup who stayed home while we went away. She was open to meeting with us prior, to form a bond with our anxious dog, who warmed up to her instantly! For once, we felt at ease travelling without Kobe. Jennifer also administered his medication everyday with no hiccups and stayed in contact with us daily, which made us feel very reassured. Not only would I recommend her services — we look forward to Jennifer watching Kobe again in the future. If I could give 10 stars I would! ??”

About: I’m a born-again pet person and love spending time with cats and dogs. Over the past five years, I’ve had the joy of fostering cats, providing them with a loving and caring environment while they await their forever homes. I look forward to meeting your furry companions and providing them with the care, attention, and love they deserve while you’re away! I am currently on a career break and have a lot of flexible time to dedicate to house sitting, drop-in visits, and walking your pet. When caring for pets in my client's home, I follow all instructions to a tee and pay careful attention to the changing needs of the animal. I am communicative and responsive should any issues arise.
“We booked Michelle for a drop in after a meet and greet while we were present to get our anxious dog familiar with her. She was wonderful with our pups and now our newest addition. She follows the instructions given and after one meet and greet she knew exactly what to do with our dogs. Our anxious pup was jumping on her for attention and love and was amazing around her! Thank you for being patient and letting our dogs get familiar with you before our long trip this summer Michelle! 🩷🩵🩷”

About: I have been working with dogs for a lot of my life. I've owned two German Shepherds, Two Huskies and a Beagle Dachshund mix so I have dealt with a variety of different dogs. I worked for the Shelby Humane Society for almost 2 years helping animals get adopted. I put my all into caring for animals because it's something I love to do and i love dogs and cats or pretty much any animal for that matter so much so that I treat them like my own children. Your dogs are in good hands with me and no matter what after you receive my services you will be coming back for more. Have a great day everyone and I can't wait to meet your Furry Friends. I'm currently working with a gig agency so I work on my own schedule which gives me plenty of time to spend with your Furry Friends. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space for your furry friends to run around and exercise. I also have two energetic children who love animals just as much as I do and they will give your furry friend just as much love as I will give them while they are inside my home because any animal that comes into my house is treated like my own child and like a member of my family. I'm also a certified license Advanced EMT so I have medical training under my belt for both animals and humans alike and that is another way that I will make sure your fur babies are completely safe while inside my home and in my neighborhood.
“Noelle and her husband Victor did a phenomenal job with my two kitties again! I had left very specific instructions and they were followed to the T! They took care of them like they were their own! Fed them, played with them, and gave them plenty of love, even my skittish boy came out for them! I will be rebooking Noelle again in the future!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - West New Brighton
This was the third time I’ve used Tara’s services. We needed to go out of town last minute for a family emergency and she responded immediately and was able to help. She always takes such great care of our girl and we are so grateful for a sitter like her. Thank you again Tara, you are an angel. Love, Lucie, Jay, and Daisy 🌼

The best pet sitter I could ever dream of! My cats love her so much I call her their Auntie. Michelle is so caring, detail oriented and truly goes above and beyond, she makes me feel so at ease while I travel.. I truly can not recommend her enough! Thank you Michelle for all you do!!! We adore you!!

Jade took extremely good care of our cat, Daiquiri. From the moment we met her, we knew she was the right person for the job, caring, compassionate, and kind. Daiquiri became immediately comfortable with her, which says a lot because he can be shy with new people. She kept his food and water clean and fresh, maintained his litter box exceptionally well, and most importantly, made him feel loved. She spent time playing with him, cuddling with him, and genuinely caring for him while we were away. When we got back and she dropped off the keys, Daiquiri was so excited to see her again. That alone speaks volumes. We would absolutely trust Jade to care for him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable sitter.

Spencer was great! My cat warmed up to him quickly! He fed and played with her like how I asked. He communicated well and promptly. I asked him to drop off my packages and mail while I was away. He also agreed to do a neccessary last-minute task of picking up recyclables that had spilled out on at the front. Very helpful too!

I recommend Ian! He took very good care of my cats. He cares. While I was gone, he would call me and express concern if he suspected something was wrong. He was there on time every day for weeks, and always sent me pictures and updates. He even did the cutest drawing of my cat Winston and taped it onto the kitchen cabinet, which I appreciated. I will definitely call on him again to take care of my cats.

Above and beyond.... i never once felt any sense of concern leaving my cats in Sarah and Marias care. They were excellent care takers and lovely people. In fact i had to extend my stay and thats where they truly went above and beyond to help me out. I will definitely ask for them again if needed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
