“Five stars for Jane! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I left my beloved pug, Lord Ginsberg, in Jane’s care while I traveled to Mexico, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Lord Ginsberg is not your average dog. He has his own routines, preferences, quirks, and very strong opinions about comfort. Jane understood all of that immediately. Her patience was absolutely legendary, and she took the time to learn his specific needs and little eccentricities without ever making me feel like I was asking too much. What meant so much to me was how communicative she was throughout my trip. She regularly sent adorable photos and videos of Ginsberg, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. Every update made it clear that he was happy, comfortable, and being genuinely cared for. Jane is not only responsible and attentive, she’s also warm, funny, and incredibly understanding. The best compliment I can give is that I could tell she truly enjoyed Lord Ginsberg’s company. She wasn’t just watching him, she was spending time with him and appreciating his unique little personality. She even came to understand his profound and unwavering love of cheese, which any true friend of Ginsberg quickly learns is a very important part of his worldview. When I came home, I found a happy, relaxed, well-cared-for pug, and that’s every pet parent’s dream. I can’t thank Jane enough for the care, kindness, humor, patience, and attention she showed him. She has extensive experience with animals of all temperaments, was consistently responsive to messages, and proactively sent daily updates. While we were away, we had abundant peace of mind that Bruno was doing well and in caring hands. Most tellingly, when Meg dropped him off, Bruno was more interested in sniffing her and her car rather than saying hi to us, which to us epitomizes how great of a time he had in Meg’s care. She was very accommodating, generally as well as with drop off / pick-up, understanding of Bruno’s odd tendencies, and happy to indulge his absolute obsession with fetch. We will certainly be reaching out again in the future when we next need someone to look after our pup.”

About: I've taken care of several cats and interacted with many domesticated and feral cats. We have rescued a majority of our cats. When I was a child, we had Russian blue cats and helped breed them as well as give birth to them. Currently, I own a 18 year old sphynx cat who I have to administer medication and do many extra tasks to help with his old age.

About: *I only take one pet at a time for boarding and day care (two if they are in the same family). For additional pets, please inquire. My rates are firm and reflect the level of care I will provide.* I know the feeling of never wanting to leave your fur baby behind. Wherever I went, if I couldn’t take my pets with me, then I would rather not go at all. But sometimes when work calls or when you simply need a little “me” time, we need help from someone we can trust to love and care for our pets while we’re away. I would love to be that person for you! My pet care experience comes from working at and caring for shelter animals, caring for stray cats, fostering cats and dogs, and loving my own beloved pets (My two dogs that have since passed - Terri, 18, Maple, 12, and cat - August, 4). I’m fear-free certified and have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs (especially cushings, CHF, CCD). I can help with giving oral medications and am open to assisting with other needs if you’re willing to teach. If your pet knows any commands or is in training, I’m happy to help reinforce their skills too (just let me know!). In addition to my experience above, I was also featured on NY1’s New Yorker of the week segment for my volunteer work at Animal Haven, an animal shelter based in Manhattan. My home is super senior-dog friendly with rugs all around the house so your pups don’t slip, pet oxygen for emergencies, plus strollers for pets with special needs. I work remote and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I offer pet day care, house sitting, and boarding. Please see my calendar for availability. HOUSE SITTING - overnight stays in your home. DROP INS - 30 minutes and I’ll do whatever is needed in that time. This could be a combination of feeding, meds, quick potty/walk, indoor playtime, etc. For high-energy, active dogs, you can extend the visit to an hour for additional walking time. BOARDING - Hours are from 8am to 8pm, with some flexibility on drop off and pick up times. Your dog stays overnight at my place. I do a minimum of 2-4 walks a day, depending on your dogs needs. Owners must provide food for their pets, but I can also accommodate for an added fee of $10 per day (includes treats/meals). Please ask about food options and provide allergy info + food preferences if interested in that service. DAY CARE - Drop off for day care is between 7-8am to 4-6pm. Requests past these hours will be considered boarding. I will love and care for your pet the way you do for them. I treat every animal I care for like family, providing patience, space, and extra attention as needed. I’m super safety conscious and keen on details, so if there are any particular habits, routines, or schedules you’d like me to follow, if your pet is trained or undergoing training and there’s anything you want me to reinforce, or if your pet has special needs and requires special care, please reach out to me with those details. I remember learning how to walk, bathe and understand their dogs in elementary school and always begging my parents to have a fur baby of our own. And of course, updates and photos are guaranteed! I’m greatly detail oriented, meticulous and compassionate about all furry friends. I hope to love them like they’re my own. I work full time remote so I’ll be home fully during the week to care for your furry companion. I’m super transparent on when I’ll need to step out during weekends for commitments or errands and will let you know ahead of time. Despite being fully flexible, I would only accept boarding of dogs without any intense separation anxiety that may result in accidents in the home or continuous barking that would invoke noise complaints in my apartment building. For a suitable match, I would only board dogs that can be alone for minimum 4-5 hours. If they can only tolerate being alone <4 hours, we won’t be a great fit! My apartment is an elevator and pet friendly building and we have a rooftop for fresh air and space. My space is kept clean and neat at all times too! I never use harsh cleaning products in my home and I also don’t have any plants that may harm pets as well.

I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication at all times. I live in a house with a fenced front yard, but your pet will always be supervised when outside. During walks, I try to avoid streets with a lot of traffic to help pets feel secure, especially in new environments. I always pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I live with my family, so pets will never be left alone if I had to run out, and I always communicate this clearly with owners ahead of time. I currently don’t have other pets in my Brooklyn home aside from fish, which allows me to give your pet my full attention. I can also follow instructions like crating or separating pets if needed.
About: Hello! My name is Christine and I've decided to work at Rover in order to provide happiness to the owners and the pets. I was initially raised in NC with 5 dogs and 2 cats before moving to NY. Over the years living in the city, I've had 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 bird, and 2 rodents which I cared and still care for deeply. I've always had an attachment with animals and make sure I give them the same amount of love as well as make sure that everything done is by the owners standards and approval. With the say of the owner, I will also provide any special treatment and make sure everything will go as smoothly as possible. I understand that every animal should be treated fair and carefully based on their situation and that is why I decided to join; so I can make sure they are treated how they are supposed to be. Currently, I am working to get a Masters certificate in dog training and apply for a bachelor's in Animal Behavior to help train difficult dogs and service dogs in the future. I'm currently a freelancer and available at all times. I walk one dog at 9:30 PM occasionally who has hip dysplasia. I am willing to work all 7 days a week and holidays. I own an American Akita currently in which I need constant training and patience. I have helped my dog adapt to raw foods along with kibble so her digestive system is stronger. One of the most important things for taking care of clients pets is to ask questions in order to keep their animals as happy and as safe as possible. I will make sure to give updates and reports to owners after each session so they are aware of anything that happened (or if nothing happened and they're just being a good girl/boy!)

In addition to helping to feed, groom, and clean up after our pets, I was aIso responsible for administering our dog’s daily diabetes insulin. My childhood prepared me well for becoming a dog mom to a longhaired dapple Dachshund in early 2021. I cannot imagine my life without him and cannot wait for your furbaby to become his furbuddy! I'm also the proud owner of Boogs & Boop, a small business specializing in pet accessories, with a portion of proceeds donated to supporting animal shelters and dogs in need. This commitment reflects my deep passion for caring for dogs and their well being. I work full time from home, so Dog Mom is my 24/7 job title. I am conveniently located near a park so go on at least two walks a day, weather permitting. DAYCARE CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: 1. Daycare refers to drop off between 8-9am and 5-6pm, a 8-hour period. 2. Pick-up and drop-off times for Daycare must be scheduled in advance through direct message. 2. Late arrivals of more than 30 minutes will be charged an additional $5 per 30 minutes that you are late. Late arrivals risk interfering with other appointments, so this fee helps to accommodate that change. 3. Drop offs before 8am are subject to an Early Drop-off Fee of $10 per hour. 4. I care for pets in my home since I also have my furbaby to attend to. This means there’s always healthy treats, pee pads, dog wipes, and pet first aid products on hand. I understand that being away from your furbaby can be nerve-wracking, but you can rest assured that I will provide clear communication and photo updates when your pet is in my care. I do not have an attached yard, but the park is a hop, skip, and a jump away, so it’s easy to take potty breaks whenever necessary. PLEASE NOTE: 1. Please arrive with your pet on a leash. I am a strong advocate for pet safety and leash laws. 2. I do not allow guests into my home, but would be happy to meet you downstairs at drop-off and pick-up times. 3. I will ALWAYS send photos throughout the appointment, even if not directly requested. INCLEMENT WEATHER DISCLAIMER: I take all weather advisories seriously. When the heat index is above 90°F degrees or windchill is below 20°F walks will be cut short for your pet's safety and for my own. Walks will consist of “doing their business” then returning indoors. Regular service is maintained in the rain, but will be postponed due to thunder, lightning, or blizzards. Walks may be early or delayed depending on the forecast. I will always communicate with dog owners if a change of plan is necessary due to dangerous weather and temperatures. Thank you for your understanding.
About: I have a kitten and an adult cat , i’ve also had a dog before as well.All my pets are well trained. I’ve volunteered at Sean Casey to dog walk plenty, I love animals. I adore animals, I’ve actually wanted to volunteer in costa rica for turtle savings and help needed:) It’s a dream ! Also love taking my partners pitbull for long walks it’s fun to connect with the animal. I have a lot of free time on my hands, I am a student and I only go two days to school in the mornings which is Monday and Wednesday. Will be studying animals in the class oceanography, I can’t wait. I have a lot of room to work and have a stable job like this. I have a kitten and an adult cat, both are trained properly by me, as well as being calm and well mannered. The adult cat I actually rescued myself and took her in as a baby she was just in a dangerous situation with a car. I also got my kitten from a rescue and raised her on my own. Those are the only two pets I have and there very friendly.

I remember learning how to walk, bathe and understand their dogs in elementary school and always begging my parents to have a fur baby of our own. And of course, updates and photos are guaranteed! I’m greatly detail oriented, meticulous and compassionate about all furry friends. I hope to love them like they’re my own. I work full time remote so I’ll be home fully during the week to care for your furry companion. I’m super transparent on when I’ll need to step out during weekends for commitments or errands and will let you know ahead of time. Despite being fully flexible, I would only accept boarding of dogs without any intense separation anxiety that may result in accidents in the home or continuous barking that would invoke noise complaints in my apartment building. For a suitable match, I would only board dogs that can be alone for minimum 4-5 hours. If they can only tolerate being alone <4 hours, we won’t be a great fit! I thank you ahead of time for your understanding and I’m always open for a chat if we want to talk more details! My apartment is an elevator and pet friendly building and we have a rooftop for fresh air and space. I live with my partner, no pets and with occasional friends that may visit (if your pet is okay with this)! There are parks nearby for long or short walks as well. My space is kept clean and neat at all times too! I never use harsh cleaning products in my home and I also don’t have any plants that may harm pets as well.

You never know how someone treats your dog when you cannot be there to observe. But Hunter did zoomies around the apartment and tried to follow Andrej down the elevator before finally coming back to me. That tells me everything I need to know about how well he is treated when I’m not around. Andrej communicates proactively with pictures and videos throughout the stay, gives Hunter plenty of playtime and outdoor socializing, and Hunter always comes back happy and well-cared-for. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog with him. Highly recommend this sitter. 10/10”
