WFH-Fenced Yard-Dogs/Cats Welcome
Your dog will have a great stay with me and my family. We have a spacious house, a fenced yard, I work from home and homeschool so your pooch will get lots of time, attention and care. There is a park near by and quiet streets for long walks. I have lots of experience with dog care, I can provide a calm and loving environment for anxious dogs and I can care for senior dogs and dog that need medications. I usually take one dog boarder at a time but will occasionally make exceptions for doggy day care, regular clients or dogs from the same household. Meet and Greet policy: I conduct ‘meet and greet’ for new boarding clients. I will meet you and your dog outside my house (I do not meet inside for privacy and safety reasons). This will be a good time for me to meet you and your dog, get to know each other, ask and answer questions and take your dog for a little walk up and down the block. Then I will bring out my dog for a quick introduction. My dog is a small and friendly Pomeranian who barks at new dogs for a few minutes before becoming their best friend. A walk outside together usually forms a quick bond. For dogs that have anxiety, it might be better to be introduced gradually once they start their boarding, with a couple of hours to adjust to their new environment and me first before being introduced to my dog.

Schedule
I work from home and home school my high-school son, my schedule is flexible. I have a spacious home so, if needed, dogs can have their own separate space and quiet time. I have a fenced back yard for play breaks and getting fresh air in between walks. My own dog and cat are very friendly and love meeting new friends.

Safety, trust & environment
I have cared for dogs that needed medications and special medical care (check with me first). I usually go for two walks a day and can provide as many potty breaks and short walks as needed. I also cared for dogs that have anxiety and know how to provide them with a calm and soothing environment. I give the best doggy massages.
Pets
A typical day
There is a park nearby for morning walks and nice quiet streets in the neighborhood for evening walks. We like to play fetch in the back yard and have play 'sessions' in the house. For dogs who love to lounge there are several dog beds, a comfy sofa and any time is a good time for nap time.

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs. Senior and special need dogs will be charged $10-$20 extra a day, depending on the care they need. Please let me know about any behavior I should be aware of to make your dog's stay a success. For example, does your dog bark, pull on the leash, pick up food in the street, reactive to other dogs/squirrels/bikes, has separation anxiety etc. I accept dogs and puppies that are fully potty trained (no pee pads please). Please provide your own food and feeding instructions. I recommend bringing your dog's bed and a toy to help your dog feel at home away from home.
