“Ozzy was an amazing sitter for my four cats! My girlfriend and I felt at ease while away visiting family knowing that he was checking in on our cats, and even giving my diabetic cat his meds. All the cats loved Ozzy and I would highly recommend booking with him!”

“Michael was amazing with my two shy cats. He was gentle and patient and overall just what they needed. He was respectable of our space and followed instructions well. So grateful he made my first Rover experience a smooth and positive one! Reliable and very responsive. Highly recommend and will definitely rebook in the future.”

About: I am a rising second year veterinary student at LIU post. I love caring for and meeting new cats and dogs and have several years of experience working with animals in a variety of settings. I have worked in shelters, boarding facilities, and in veterinary clinics. I also have experience administering medications. Thank you for reading my profile and I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend(s)! I am a current graduate student on summer break so my availability for the next few months is flexible and I can work around your schedule. I am a reliable, responsible, and communicative caretaker. I know as a pet sitter you are trusting me not only with your beloved pet but are also welcoming me into your home so I want to be respectful of your space. I also know that routine is important for a pet so I will follow all instructions carefully and try to make your pet as comfortable as possible!
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional care for Dublin! Elizabeth provided outstanding care for Dublin during our 8-day trip. From the moment we met, it was clear she genuinely loves dogs and has a natural way with them. Dublin took to her immediately. Throughout the week, Elizabeth sent regular updates with photos and messages that gave us complete peace of mind. She was reliable, responsible, and followed all of Dublin's routines perfectly. When we returned, Dublin was happy, well-exercised, and clearly had been loved and pampered in our absence. Elizabeth's communication was excellent - she was always responsive and kept us informed about Dublin's daily activities, meals, and mood. It's obvious she treats the dogs in her care like her own. We couldn't have asked for better care and would absolutely book with Elizabeth again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog sitter who will treat your furry family member with love and attention. Thank you, Elizabeth, for taking such wonderful care of Dublin!”

“Rachel is wonderful :) My two rescues can be quite reactive and skittish to just about any change in lifestyle. She's more than willing to jump right in & find what works for everyone. I will be using her as a regular sitter from here on out!”

“Lindsay was an extremely communicative and thoughtful sitter who handled my little pit mix like a pro. She’s a ball of muscle and working on her training currently so while a sweetheart can be a lot to handle, but Lindsay more than managed and kept her occupied and happy while I was away for 3 days. I will certainly be using her services again in the future!”
“Anna M was amazing. I had such peace of mind and will be using her again and again She is kind and thoughtful and amazing. Anna even offered to go and purchase a specific flavor of cat food when I ran out of a flavor one of my cats liked. She is great !!!”

About: I've taken care of animals since I was a kid. Through out my life i have learned how to properly handle dogs, Puppies, cats and kittens by watching my family members and by having my own fair share of pets. I had a puppy of my own in high school and taught myself how ' to potty train as well as learning the different things like the best type of toy for teething, type of treats and food a puppy needs. Also I have had a pet of mine that has had a litter of puppies and learned how to distribute formula to newborns. I currently have two doggies one is 6 years old the other is 7 years old well as a cat that me and my family got from a family friend that found her in their garage. I’ve worked with dogs between the ages of a puppy to a senior dog as well as dogs with disabilities since high school. My love and passion for helping animals in need has made me work with a private owned foster care facility that worked close with dogs with disabilities to places like doggy daycares where I got to see more dogs that require special needs and see first hand how nice and or aggressive a dog can be. I’m currently not in school for the summer so that gives me more time for your fur babies. I can give them my full attention and time and give them the care they deserve and allow you to feel comfortable knowing someone is giving them attention If you require your pet to be in a crate once their walk has been finished or need to be sectioned off to a specific area I will make sure I properly do so.

About: I have 2 german shepherd mixes & a cat. I’ve grown up with a lot of animals from dogs & cats, to birds, lizards, & sugar gliders. I love all kinds of animals. Not afraid of any kind of dogs. Currently off work for summer vacation. But usually I work 7:15am-5pm with a break between 8:30am & 10:30am. The. Next break 1:15 pm-3pm M,T,W 10:45am-1:15pm Thursday-Friday Off weekends I make sure to give the pets a comfortable experience. Making sure to follow the pet parents instructions. Trying to create a little anxiety as possible.

Jenny was responsive and on top of things. During the meet and greet she asked a lot of questions to make sure that she had all the information. She was happy to meet our two cats. During her visits, she checked in with me and sent pictures. Everyone was happy to have her visit.

Juliana is the best, I trust her completely with my 2 cats, Nellie & Clark! She has been watching my cats since Clark was a kitten and now he is 2 years old. He can be high energy and difficult towards my older 10 year old cat Nellie, but Juliana handles them with such love and patience. She is able to separate them during feeding times and distract Clark with playtime! She is always prompt and goes above and beyond to ensure I feel at ease that the cats are doing well while I’m away. When Juliana is watching them, I never worry!

Michael was amazing with my two shy cats. He was gentle and patient and overall just what they needed. He was respectable of our space and followed instructions well. So grateful he made my first Rover experience a smooth and positive one! Reliable and very responsive. Highly recommend and will definitely rebook in the future.

Ella is fantastic!! I needed someone to administer subq fluids & medication to my senior tom cat while I'm away from work. Ella has done an excellent job with him everytime she comes. It gives me great peace of mind to know he's being well cared for <3 Thank you Ella!

I’m a very nervous pet owner, so leaving my cats alone while I’m on vacation is always a stressful experience. But Oluademi did an amazing job taking care of my cats and helped put me at ease every step of the way. She followed my (admittedly pretty complicated) instructions perfectly and with attention to detail. She often went the extra mile to spend time with them and reassure me that they were doing just fine, so I could enjoy my vacation. I would absolutely recommend her!

Nicole was an absolutely fantastic catsitter! She took wonderful care of my cat, who was happy and well-fed throughout our time away. The litter box was kept clean, meals and treats were provided, and Nicole kept me updated constantly with messages and adorable photos. I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in such capable hands. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
