Pet care experience
All fur parents deserve a vacay!
Growing up, I didn’t have siblings—just my three dogs, who felt like family in every way. They’re the reason I’ve always had such a strong bond with animals and why I see them as more than pets. In 2019, I spent a lot of time volunteering at animal hospitals, where I worked with both dogs and cats and learned how to care for each of their unique needs. That experience eventually led me to work at dog hotels, caring for other people’s fur children. Recently, I made the decision to leave my full-time role and return to school to further my education. I served as the General Manager of a renowned luxury dog hotel in Garden City, where I had the opportunity to care for over 2,000 dogs, honing my skills and deepening my passion for animal care. What I love most about animals is how different they all are—each one has their own quirks and personality, and that’s what makes every single one of them so special to me.

Schedule
I’m currently a full-time online student, which gives me the flexibility to work around almost any schedule. As long as I have a heads-up, I can easily adapt, so clear communication is key! Pet care fits perfectly into my life, allowing me to balance my studies while doing something I love.

When caring for someone’s pet in their home, I prioritize both safety and making the pet feel comfortable. I follow any specific instructions provided, from feeding schedules to exercise routines, and make sure their environment stays clean and secure. I’m always attentive to their needs, checking for signs of stress or discomfort, and giving them plenty of love and attention to keep them happy. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and pictures to reassure you that your pet is in good hands. My goal is to treat your pet like family and make them feel safe and cared for while you’re away.

A typical day
Every chance I get to take my pup on a drive, I will because he loves it. We drive to parks, beaches, play dates, and even lunch dates together. If I’m watching a dog at home we can play fun games with toys or just run around.
