About: Over the course of my time I've taken care of and lived with goldfish, parakeets, a big old mutt, several great cats...and chickens. Considering that I grew up in Manhattan, I'd say that if that doesn't account for exeptional qualifications to love and care for our furry (or scaly, or feathered) friends, I'm not sure what could! Our kids are off exploring the world as newly minted adults leaving my wife and I with two finicky cats. With a little extra time on my hands I thought it would be a good idea to help other pet owners out to work all day or preferably, gone on a much needed vacation but looking for someone to check in on their furry loved ones. I freelance from home as a designer, so I typically have time at both ends of the day to extend a helping hand to anyone who needs a little extra care for their pet. We have 2 cats at home of whom I am the primary caretaker of, so adding a visit to a neighbor in need would be easy. About: I am a Pre vet major in college with a minor in wildlife ecology. I also have experience as a vet intern. I am also currently working at a wildlife rehab 3-4 days a week so some days I am only available for early morning walks or late night walks. My whole life I have grown up around dogs. My mom was always brining different starts into the house until they found homes. When my family or friends would go away on vacation I would take care of their pets for them. I would go over to their house and feed and play with them until they got tired. I even would take them on walks or bring them to the dog park if they asked me to I would take their dog to the dog park to play. About: I've always loved dogs since I was little but never actually had one. On a drive up to my dad's job, is when my birthday wishes had finally come true. My dad and I had rescued my dog, Ebby, from a busy nearby highway and since that day my love for dogs has grown even more. All I've ever wanted to do was make them as happy as they made me.
