About: Assisted Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians in running our Animal Hospital that serves about 25+ small animals per day. Worked individually and with a team to do grooming procedures such as medicated baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, and sanitary shaves. Provided a calm and comforting environment while assisting with & administrating medications, vaccinations, blood draws, x-rays, etc. Maintained a fear-free environment and prevented waiting-area conflicts between patients while at the front desk completing clerical duties. I am applying to veterinary school and have a lot if flexibility with my schedule. Since I'm taking a break from working in hospitals and focusing on my academics, I would love to keep petcare as part of my routine. I treat overnight stays like your furry friends favorite sleepover.
