About: Assisted Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians in running our Animal Hospital that serves about 25+ small animals per day. Worked individually and with a team to do grooming procedures such as medicated baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, and sanitary shaves. Provided a calm and comforting environment while assisting with & administrating medications, vaccinations, blood draws, x-rays, etc. Maintained a fear-free environment and prevented waiting-area conflicts between patients while at the front desk completing clerical duties. I am applying to veterinary school and have a lot if flexibility with my schedule. Since I'm taking a break from working in hospitals and focusing on my academics, I would love to keep petcare as part of my routine. About: I have 2 dogs of my own , and sadly one of my dogs became handicap 3 years ago , he had surgery for his Ivdd but it didn’t work , so I got him wheels taking care of a handicap dog can be challenging, but thank god my diesel is happy and we got a second dog , that he has company when we are not home , and she is his best companion. Aside from that I did train 3 puppies, I just really love dogs and anyone can be calm and stress free , when I’m walking , or sitting their dog :) My schedule is pretty open , I work part time at the moment , and take care of my toddler .
