About: I grew up in a house with 3 dogs and have never known life with an empty house! I’ve been formally dog sitting for friends, family and clients since 2018 in my house on Long Island as well as in their apartments in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I was previously the assistant manager of a local dog day care and while some dogs do well in a boarding facility, I know how important it is for them to feel comfortable and stress free, and that can be in their home or mine! With over 20 repeat and regular clients who my relationship with them and their dogs spans across years, I have many referrals that can speak to my high level of care and love. I also am honored to have experience with senior aged dogs and those with medical conditions requiring medicine or special care and am happy and comfortable to provide it. Be prepared to receive a million picture and video updates from me of how we’re spending our days together so you don’t have to worry or wonder, and can enjoy your vacation as stress free as possible. Especially if you’re away during a holiday or even their birthday, we always celebrate with special treats, toys and activities so nothing is ever missed. When your pet is in my care, they become a member of my family and are treated as such! I work full time remotely from the comfort of my house, which allows me to spend all my time on the couch with the dogs I’m sitting for and take them to play in the backyard or for a walk whenever we want. I am able to accommodate and be flexible with bathroom and feeding schedules as necessary. I have a very large, fenced in backyard with grass and concrete that dogs are able to enjoy. I also have a doggy door if they are trained that they can access the backyard whenever they would like/need to potty (can also be locked shut!). I am happy to follow any specific care instructions no matter how unique or strange you might think they are, I’ve heard it all and love learning every dogs personality and quirks that make them who they are. The dogs I sit for are just like my own pets, they are welcome and encouraged to join me on furniture, to sleep in bed with me or can be crated if preferred and one is provided (although I certainly prefer cuddling with them if allowed!).

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was 10 and love taking care of them. I’ve also taken friends dogs while they were on vacation whenever needed. I work midday so I can walk your dog before 11am or most likely after 7 pm. Even if you just need me to go feed your cats! I do have a fenced in yard but love taking my dog Nala to different dog parks in the area. She gets along with all dogs and loves to play.

Once again, Vanessa is the absolute best! Each time I have left my dogs in her care, I have felt completely at ease knowing they are being loved, well-cared for, and have playmates to keep them company while they are apart from their family. She’s communicative (always keeping us updated with the cutest pictures and videos), patient, and goes out of her way to make sure all bases are covered when you have any particular needs for your pups. Being away on a busy holiday weekend, we got stuck in even worse traffic than expected and were late to pick up. She was so understanding and patient which relieved any extra stress we had. Excellent experience, from first communication on rover, to the meet and greet, drop off and pick up. Sonia and her son Kenny sent updates and pics everyday. My dog Levi gets a little nervous with new people but they were so patient and loving, he settled in so quickly. When we picked him up, he was so calm, almost seemed like he wanted to stay longer, hahaa. We had a great experience with Jaxon’s stay! It was his first time away from us, and she was very understanding and kept us updated with lots of pictures and videos. He was a little nervous the first day, but by day two he had settled in, made friends with the other dogs and bonded with her daughter. They took great care of him, took him for walks, and she even gave him a hygiene trim. Jaxon came home happy and well cared for. We would definitely use her again!

Ivana was wonderful with Sunny. She is very caring, patient, understanding, and has a very calm, relaxed demeanor that made us feel comfortable right away. Sunny showed some separation anxiety on the first day, and Ivana was extremely patient with her and gave her the time she needed to settle in and feel comfortable. Ivana also did a great job keeping us updated with messages and pictures throughout Sunny’s stay, which really helped put our minds at ease while we were away. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Sunny and wanted her to feel safe and happy. We felt very comfortable leaving Sunny in her care and would definitely use Ivana again. Highly recommended!
