About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and have always loved animals. I have experience working with my aunt at her dog kennel and have handled dogs of many different sizes and a multitude of personalities. I’m always ready for the unexpected and willing to care for and treat your pets as if they were mine! I currently work part-time in a pre-K and my hours are consistently until 2:00pm. My hours begin after 2:30pm and I will arrive promptly when needed. I may also be available on weekends in the future and upon request. If you have any special needs or requests for your pet, please do not hesitate to let me know! I have a wonderful cat who I’ve been caring for since October who came to me off the streets. Her diet is consistent and her care is my top priority. My experience with dogs was always ensuring long walks and lots of play time. Your pets will be loved and adored as if they were my own and any special needs animals are welcome! I have carried for my own cats with hypothyroidism and diabetes. My experience with giving medication is excellent.

“Karla was great and we can't thank her enough for taking great care of our cats on short notice. The cats are usually extremely shy around new people and will hide when they come in to the house. But they warmed up to Karla quickly and we got lots of pictures of happy cats being played with and entertained. A+++”

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends pets. I am a stay at home mom and care for my family 24/7. A routine is crucial for helping animals settle into their new environment and learn important behaviors. Consistency is key—and a daily schedule helps with consistency. Be patient and calm with pets that are withdrawn or scared. Pets are sensitive to change and may be missing their people; maintain their schedule as much as possible.
About: I am an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated pet sitter who will provide top-notch care, love, and attention to ensure your furry friend feel safe and happy in your absence. I am a full time teacher who has weekends holidays and summers off. I can care for your pet during vacations and walk them for you when needed. I provide a loving and safe environment for pets in my care, ensuring regular exercise, nutritious meals, plenty of playtime, and lots of cuddles. Our family truly loves pets and your pet will love to hang out with us.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have cared for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, frogs, birds, lizards, a ferret, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish. My last pet was a cat, and even though I don’t currently have pets, I truly enjoy being around them. I’ve owned dogs all of my life and have had several breeds over the years including pitbulls, a Boston Terrier, a French Bulldog, and a Boxer, so I am very comfortable with different sizes and personalities. I have walked and cared for both of my aunts dogs. My one aunt has a French Bulldog and the other has a mastiff, and I always made sure they were fed, let out, and comfortable. I also cared for a pitbull while babysitting, handling his feeding, bathroom breaks, and daily routine. Dogs are my specialty because I have the most hands on experience with them, but I enjoy caring for all pets. I am responsible, patient, and confident with many different breeds and temperaments, and I always make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well taken care of. I also plan on getting a red eared slider turtle soon because I love learning about and caring for different types of animals. I am currently on summer vacation, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets throughout the week. When the fall semester starts, my classes will only be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which keeps my schedule very open. I am available from 6 am to 3 pm to take care of your pets, and I make sure to plan my day around giving them the attention and care they need. When I am caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routines and instructions closely to make sure their pets feel safe and comfortable. I pay attention to details like feeding times, bathroom breaks, and keeping their space clean. I take my time with each pet so they never feel rushed or stressed, and I always make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure. My goal is to create a calm and trustworthy environment so your pets feel relaxed and well cared for while you are away.
About: I was lucky to tag along with my partner for a Rover gig and I fell in love with dog/house sitting! Since I was unable to have a pet in the our apartment building, it was a great way to care for an animal. I enjoy babysitting and dog sitting. Sharing good vibes 😎 I just moved back to New York from Minnesota. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I work remotely so I can come by between my sessions or work from your home while I care for your loved one! I really care about leaving a place the same or better. Unless noted otherwise, I'll clean a dish, walk a little longer.... its just the type of person I am. The more instructions and specificities the better! Every pet is uniques and so the care should be too!
The median cost per visit for dog sitting in Freeport is $25

Ella was great! My dog is high maintenance needing medication that she doesn’t easily take and having accidents while she’s alone, Ella was able to give her meds and cleaned up after the accidents. She gave detailed updates of her time as well along with pictures.

Blake was fantastic! She showed up right on time, sent great photos and updates, and it was clear our pups were in wonderful hands. You can tell she genuinely loves animals. We came home to a happy, relaxed dogs. Highly recommend Blake and will absolutely book her again
Stephanie was truly incredible. I had a last-minute, very emotional change of circumstances: we had to put my dog Pugs to sleep the day before I left for a trip, and my other dog, Little, was suddenly alone for the first time after 15 years with his brother. I was worried about how confused and unsettled Little would be, but Stephanie stepped in immediately and adapted so naturally. She took amazing care of Little: feeding him, keeping him comfortable, and giving him the attention and reassurance he needed while I was away. She also kept me informed throughout the weekend, which gave me real peace of mind. When I came home, Little was in great spirits and full of energy, and my place was immaculate - honestly even better than when I left it. Stephanie went above and beyond in every way, and I’m genuinely grateful for the care she showed. I would recommend Stephanie to anyone without hesitation. She exceeded my expectations, and I absolutely plan to book her again.

Wei did an excellent job with the chins and their space. She’s very attentive to details (HUGE plus), compassionate, friendly, and a self starter. I loved how she knew without needing oversight what would need taken care of. Really excited and hoping we will be able to work with Wei for a long time moving forward! Looking forward to next week! Definitely give her a try !!!! Will update my review as time goes on …

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
