About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats, including feeding, walking, playtime, and providing companionship. I’m very attentive when it comes to routines, comfort, and I always prioritize safety and patience. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important trust is when caring for someone’s beloved animal. I’m open to caring for pets of any age or disability, and providing as much attention as needed. I have a college classes(online and face to face) throughout the week and a part time job( mainly 10-15 hours) but i mainly stay at home so i am able to pay attention to your pet at all times. If you’re comfortable with it i love to take them with me for small errands or nice views just so they are not left alone at home. I live in a very walkable town. Your pet will be able to roam freely around the house if needed, and/or have their own space if they are shy. I’m capable of moving things around for comfortability. Pets will never be left unattended for long periods of time. I don’t own additional dogs or cats but i have rabbits kept in their own secure caged space. I can and WILL follow all care instructions. I would be happy to provide updates and photos at any time.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 13 years, providing reliable and trustworthy sitting for family and friends. I offer daily walks, feeding, playtime, medication administration if needed, and regular updates with photos so you always feel connected. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or an extended vacation, I make sure every pup feels safe, comfortable, and loved. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pet My schedule is flexible since I work part-time, which allows me to provide consistent care throughout the day. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks, feeding, and check-ins. I make sure each dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care, and I can easily adjust my routine to meet your pet’s specific needs. When caring for pets at your home I make sure to adhere to all of the rules and guidelines that you have in place to help keep your pet comfortable sticking to their routine as much as possible, to maintain consistency while their owners are away.
About: I’ve had the pleasure of being a pet sitter professionally as well as family and friends for over 10 years now. I’ve lived with a lab/pit/shepherd mix for two years. I was also an owner and trainer of a multilingual Havanese. He was trained to understand commands in English, Chinese & Spanish. He was also trained to sing, dance and jump into any vessel on command! I can follow any specific training instructions or schedule you may have specifically for your fur babies. Cats always seem to enjoy my presence, seeking massages, playtime or attention. Looking forward to meeting your loved ones and becoming fast friends! My schedule is flexible and I can almost always be available at a moment’s notice depending on the location. I am always happy to be of service in a bind. I’d care for pets in your homes according to your specific needs and guidelines. It’s important for me to facilitate a seamless transition and experience for both owners and pets, avoiding disruption to the schedule or environment. I understand and consider the attachment that your fur or furless family members have to you so I aim to be a comforting presence as much as possible.
“Candice is such a big help and very professional. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and your animal is taken care of. She constantly sends you pictures and updates each visit. Highly recommend her! She is awesome!”

About: I am an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated pet sitter who will provide top-notch care, love, and attention to ensure your furry friend feel safe and happy in your absence. I am a full time teacher who has weekends holidays and summers off. I can care for your pet during vacations and walk them for you when needed. I provide a loving and safe environment for pets in my care, ensuring regular exercise, nutritious meals, plenty of playtime, and lots of cuddles. Our family truly loves pets and your pet will love to hang out with us.

About: I’ve lived with four different dogs over the years of different breeds, helping to sit, feed, and walk them! Also more recently I was doing pet sitting for cats and dogs in Australia, which you can see some of the photos and reviews in my profile here! I currently work from home for myself and have a flexible schedule to be able to accommodate dog walking throughout the week! Ideally a 24/hr advanced booking is best, but I can also “at times” be available for same day bookings! I feel it’s best to first meet the owners and dog together to establish a rapport and warm the dog up to me! Having a good chat with the others as well as any particular instructions as to the dogs needs/behaviors is key to a smooth and happy experience for all!
“Stephanie goes beyond her expected responsibilities. She pours love into everything she touches including my fur babies. I have peace of mind when I go away, knowing that I leave them in good hands. I trust her wholeheartedly.”

About: I’ve had numerous cats, dogs, birds and a rabbit! I love animals and the unconditional love they give in return. I would love to have the opportunity to take care of your babies while you are gone and give you the piece of mind you are looking for. I’m retired and have plenty of time to play and check on your fur baby! I adore animals and will love yours as much as I love my own! Currently I am offering services in your home only as I have a high energy puppy in mine. If your dog also is high energy and wants/craves stimulation with a like minded pup, I’d be more than happy to see how they get along! My home has a fenced in yard as well as a doggie door, and my dogs go on numerous walks per day.
“Patricia was great with my cat, Skitty! We hired her to do drop-ins to set up the auto-feeders, clean up his litterbox, and play and cuddle with him. She is very communicative and sent lots of photos, which I appreciate so much. She made sure to update me on other things going on in the house as well. I would highly recommend her for cat sitting. Thank you so much, Patricia!”

“Gloria, Thanks so very much for your professionalism and kindness! We appreciate Sarah taking good care of our sweet Kyra ?, while we were traveling out of country for vacation. We look forward to working with you again!”

This is now my FT job , I'm a retired business owner. I'm available and will be available for last min walks as well as long term clients. About: 🐾 Hi, I’m Jane. I’ve been caring for dogs in their own homes for 10 years and I can honestly say, I love what I do. There’s something really special about a dog who barely notices their owner left because they’re too busy having a good time. I enjoy leaving clients to wonder if I even stayed — everything is just as they left it, with one exception: a happier pet. I specialize in walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting, all in the comfort of your pet’s own home. I learn their routine, respect their quirks, and treat your space the way I’d want someone to treat mine. You’ll hear from me regularly with updates, photos, and videos of your dear girl or sweet boi. If you like the mundane, you’ll hear from us — me and your dog (or cat, or gerbil, or boa python — we’re all inclusive here). If you’d love to see the reasons strangers fall for your sweet girlie or darling boi, you’ll definitely hear from me while your loved one is in my care. Once you reach out, I’ll schedule a complimentary meet and greet to make sure me and your special four-legged loved one are a good match. Spoiler: we usually are. 🐾 🐾 Providing care for your loved one is built into my week, not mushed into it. Available weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. 🐾 🐾 This is where the complimentary meet and greet pays off for you. Because we’ve spoken ahead of time, it’s even easier for me to keep your pet on their usual routine, respect your home, and stay in consistent communication so you always know your dog is doing well. There are legends abound of me leaving my client’s place a little cleaner than I found it too. 🐾
“Kelley took great care of our cat while we were away. She even stopped by on her own time to meet the cat before we left since she lives nearby. We got daily updates with photos. We came home to hand-washed food bowls and a happy cat. Thanks so much, Kelley!”

I know how important it is to have peace of mind, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages during every visit or walk. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive to each dog’s unique needs. As a teacher, I am currently off for the summer and have a very flexible schedule. I am available all days of the week, including weekdays and weekends, for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I make sure to continue the schedules my clients supply to me. I have a dog with a very specific diet, so I will be sure your dog gets all their meds and proper food so they stay in great health! I also am active so long walk and play time are no stranger to me! If your dog is more mellow I will match their energy and pace so they can feel comfortable and secure. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rockville Centre
Nicole was an absolute angel with Lale during a very stressful time for me. From day one, I could see how kind, caring, and genuinely loving she is with animals. Honestly, the best review comes from Lale herself — she would practically hop with excitement whenever she saw Nicole! Watching her little tail wag and seeing how happy she was made my heart so happy. Lale felt completely safe, loved, and spoiled in the best possible way. Knowing Nicole was with her gave me such comfort and peace of mind. She cared for Lale with so much affection and attention, as if she were her own. I’m beyond grateful for everything Nicole did for my sweet girl. Anyone would be lucky to have Nicole care for their pet — and their pet will probably fall in love with her just as much as Lale did! ❣️🐾💕

Ella did such a great job with my pups, she made sure they both got a lot of love while she was with them and both of my dogs had a fun time with her! I really appreciated how thoughtful and caring she was, and had such peace of mind that my dogs were being well taken care of! She sent a detailed summary of how the visit went and took such cute pictures!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
