If you’re comfortable with it i love to take them with me for small errands or nice views just so they are not left alone at home. I live in a very walkable town. Your pet will be able to roam freely around the house if needed, and/or have their own space if they are shy. I’m capable of moving things around for comfortability. Pets will never be left unattended for long periods of time. I don’t own additional dogs or cats but i have rabbits kept in their own secure caged space. I can and WILL follow all care instructions. I would be happy to provide updates and photos at any time.

I also spent time every week on my family's farm, where I became comfortable around many different animals, including dogs, cats, horses, cows, bunnies, turtles, chickens, and ducks. My schedule is flexible, with my strongest availability from Sunday through Wednesday for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I'm also open to longer stays and recurring bookings during those days. Thursday and Friday availability may vary, but I can sometimes accommodate evening or overnight care if a later arrival works for your pet's routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is to keep their environment and routine as familiar and consistent as possible. I follow the owner's instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medications, training, sleeping arrangements, and any household rules. I take time to learn each pet's personality, energy level, boundaries, and normal behavior rather than assuming every animal should be handled the same way. I'll reinforce the commands and routines you already use instead of introducing unnecessary changes while you're away. I also understand that trusting someone with your pet means trusting them with your home. I treat both with respect, keep the areas I use clean and organized, secure doors and entrances carefully, and communicate if anything unusual happens. During visits or overnight stays, I can provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing and can feel confident that they're safe, comfortable, and receiving attention.

About: Growing up we always had dogs and cats. I spent a lot of time with relatives who had more “exotic” pets ranging from degus to a Mali Uromastyx lizard not to mention the short-tailed opossum and various other small mammals. All this has contributed to making me an animal lover totally comfortable around them all! While still in high school I had the privilege of volunteering at a local wildlife refuge where I was responsible for the care of a wide variety of animals ranging from squirrels to owls and even foxes! During college I spent a summer working at a doggie day care center where I was responsible for both walking the dogs and supervising indoor play time. More recently I have been dog sitting both at my home as well as house sitting for families with pets and am eagerly looking forward to expanding this aspect of my work using this Rover app. Since I am currently taking online courses, I am very flexible and available. I currently work remotely, so I have plenty of time to play with your furbaby’s! I am available to drop in for walks if you’re local, dog-sit, and board in my home. With a lot of love and as if they were my own. I have a yard but mainly love going on walks or hikes (depending on the dog). I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule and I don’t ever leave a pet alone more than 3 hrs at most I care for them as I do my own. My husband and I are usually home and if possible (depending on the furbaby) we always include the pups in any outdoor errand/activity
