I've been caring for animals for years and have hands-on experience with both dogs and cats. I currently care for my own high-energy Shepherd mix, so I'm comfortable handling large, energetic dogs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and reading body language. I've also cared for multiple cats while their owners were away, making sure they were fed, had fresh water, clean litter boxes, plenty of attention (or space, depending on their personality), and that their owners received regular updates for peace of mind. In addition to everyday pet care, I have experience caring for dogs with medical needs. My current dog is undergoing heartworm treatment, which has taught me how important it is to follow medication schedules, activity restrictions, and provide calm, attentive care. I also helped care for my childhood dog throughout kidney disease.
