About: Assisted Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians in running our Animal Hospital that serves about 25+ small animals per day. Worked individually and with a team to do grooming procedures such as medicated baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, and sanitary shaves. Provided a calm and comforting environment while assisting with & administrating medications, vaccinations, blood draws, x-rays, etc. Maintained a fear-free environment and prevented waiting-area conflicts between patients while at the front desk completing clerical duties. Currently caring for clients with a diverse abilities and needs in the comfort of their homes. I am applying to veterinary school and have a lot if flexibility with my schedule. Since I'm taking a break from working in hospitals and focusing on my academics, I would love to keep petcare as part of my routine, and I can adapt to your pet's routine. I treat overnight stays like your furry friends favorite sleepover. I will be sure to maintain their daily routines promptly and thoroughly, sprinkle in some of their favorite things, and shower them in love to keep them distracted from missing you too much while you're away. About: I am a licensed veterinary Technologist with a bachelors degree in veterinary technology. I have 7 years experience with animal care such as behavioral health, Species specific environmental requirements, Enrichment, nutrition, and medical care. I am dedicated to my work and providing the best care and animal welfare. I am available middle of the afternoons into the evenings Monday-Friday. I am available all day Saturday-Sunday. I am available for drop in visits and providing walks to animals that would be alone for a long period of time. I care for pets providing them the proper enriching environment and proper diet for their nutritional needs. I provide a calm and quiet environment for them along with providing the social aspect when needing. I respect boundaries and read behvaior to judge how they are feeling in the moment.

About: I've cared for both dogs and cats my whole life-- I've never lived without a pet! I also have experience as a volunteer caretaker through my local animal shelter, and a deep passion for animal welfare and happiness. I work part-time and am a part-time student, so please check my calendar for availability. I have class from 4-9pm Tuesday & Wednesday and my work schedule is typically the day shift on Monday and Thursday. Again, if there are any deviances, I will mark them on the calendar! I'm happy to let your pet set the pace-- if they're a cuddle bug, I'll give them snuggles, and if they need some time to warm up, I'll sit quietly while they get used to me. If your puppy feels the need for speed, I'll take him on a sprightly jog, but if your senior prefers to take the scenic route, we can stop and sniff every tree. I'll listen to your instructions and preferences and theirs.

About: I've taken care of animals since I was a kid. Through out my life i have learned how to properly handle dogs, Puppies, cats and kittens by watching my family members and by having my own fair share of pets. I had a puppy of my own in high school and taught myself how ' to potty train as well as learning the different things like the best type of toy for teething, type of treats and food a puppy needs. Also I have had a pet of mine that has had a litter of puppies and learned how to distribute formula to newborns. I currently have two doggies one is 6 years old the other is 7 years old well as a cat that me and my family got from a family friend that found her in their garage. I’ve worked with dogs between the ages of a puppy to a senior dog as well as dogs with disabilities since high school. My love and passion for helping animals in need has made me work with a private owned foster care facility that worked close with dogs with disabilities to places like doggy daycares where I got to see more dogs that require special needs and see first hand how nice and or aggressive a dog can be. I’m currently not in school for the summer so that gives me more time for your fur babies. I can give them my full attention and time and give them the care they deserve and allow you to feel comfortable knowing someone is giving them attention If you require your pet to be in a crate once their walk has been finished or need to be sectioned off to a specific area I will make sure I properly do so.

“We really appreciated Rachel taking care of our pup while we were traveling. He took to Rachel right way. She had no trouble with his habit of sleeping in bed with his dog sitters and his snoring. We got daily photos and updates on him and came home to a spotless house. Rachel was extra sweet in letting us know about when she had meetings during the week and would be away from him. About: I have 2 german shepherd mixes & a cat. I’ve grown up with a lot of animals from dogs & cats, to birds, lizards, & sugar gliders. I love all kinds of animals. Not afraid of any kind of dogs. Currently off work for summer vacation. But usually I work 7:15am-5pm with a break between 8:30am & 10:30am. The. Next break 1:15 pm-3pm M,T,W 10:45am-1:15pm Thursday-Friday Off weekends I make sure to give the pets a comfortable experience. Making sure to follow the pet parents instructions. Trying to create a little anxiety as possible.
