“Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. About: My family and I all love animals, so we applied to be pet's sitters at home care. We have a independent house with a yard, and there will always be someone at home 24 hours a day. The pets can move freely at home without too many restrictions. We have regularly clean to the house to ensure the clean and hygiene environment for all pets. At the beginning, the cat would hide under the sofa for a week, but lately he became completely unrestrained and would lie on the bed together, play hide-and-seek with me, and explore every corner of the house. About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. They’re honestly like family to me and I always treat my family with care, respect and love which is what a dog needs. I also have 2 dogs of my own and they is just the best thing that happened to me honestly and that’s why I’m working for this company because I’ve found something that I could work for and love doing what I do at the same time. I treat every dog like they’re mine! Every dog that has been to my house they are treated like our family, care for every one of them. I currently just graduated college so as of right now I am home full time! Sometimes I go out to run a few errands which means I put the dogs in a crate but my mother works from home 2 days out of the week so if she’s there she’ll keep them out and moving around on their own! Other than that I am very free for now! In my home I have a huge clean yard that runs through the back, side and front it is fenced so the dogs could run freely around for some daily exercise. I also have two dogs of my own that’ll definitely keep your lovely dog(s) company. They are very playful and welcoming, one is 4 years old and the other one is 3 years old, with all their shots and up to date with all doctor appointments. This is a smoke free house also. I grew up raising pets like fishes, birds, hedgehogs, ferrets, rabbits and my beloved dog who recently passed after being with us for 16 years. About: I'm a very caring person who has two dogs of my own. they get a lot of attention and are always out for a walk I'm also always giving snacks out their able to relax in the rooms their able to play with other dogs my dogs are friendly which makes most dogs comfortable to play with them. I love playing with the animals. I also enjoy petting. I can give then baths and do their nails. I'm also able to shave them if you would like. I've had pets all my life so I am able to deal with pets. I feel like pets should be treated like humans because they have feelings just like we do. Many people don't understand animals but I think it's easy all they want is love and attention. I’m currently free everyday of the week at any time so I can work with the schedule you choose to provide me with it’s no issue I don’t have a fenced yard but the little babies will go for a walk three or 4 times through out the day so that’s a plus.
About: I've always loved dogs since I was little but never actually had one. On a drive up to my dad's job, is when my birthday wishes had finally come true. My dad and I had rescued my dog, Ebby, from a busy nearby highway and since that day my love for dogs has grown even more. All I've ever wanted to do was make them as happy as they made me. I've owned my dog for nearly 10 years now and our bond is still strong, even after my four years spent up at college. I look forward to walking a bunch of dogs using this Rover app and I am also willing to take them on little runs if it's okay with the owners!
