About: I’ve had numerous cats, dogs, birds and a rabbit! I love animals and the unconditional love they give in return. I would love to have the opportunity to take care of your babies while you are gone and give you the piece of mind you are looking for. I’m retired and have plenty of time to play and check on your fur baby! I adore animals and will love yours as much as I love my own! Currently I am offering services in your home only as I have a high energy puppy in mine. If your dog also is high energy and wants/craves stimulation with a like minded pup, I’d be more than happy to see how they get along! My home has a fenced in yard as well as a doggie door, and my dogs go on numerous walks per day. Depending on the where and when, I might consider staying the night at your home with your babies so they are comfortable in their own environment.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with pets and have been around dogs since I was about seven years old. I also spent time every week on my family's farm, where I became comfortable around many different animals, including dogs, cats, horses, cows, bunnies, turtles, chickens, and ducks. Throughout my life, I've cared for multiple dogs of my own and have also pet sat for friends and family. I'm comfortable with walking, feeding, playtime, maintaining established routines, and reinforcing basic training such as sit, stay, come, leash manners, and house-training habits. Growing up around animals taught me to pay attention to their individual personalities and boundaries. I know that some dogs want to play immediately, while others need patience and time before they feel comfortable with someone new. I bring that same patience and attention to every pet I care for. I'll follow your instructions closely and do my best to keep your dog's routine consistent, safe, and enjoyable while you're away. My schedule is flexible, with my strongest availability from Sunday through Wednesday for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I'm also open to longer stays and recurring bookings during those days. Thursday and Friday availability may vary, but I can sometimes accommodate evening or overnight care if a later arrival works for your pet's routine. Weekend requests may also be possible depending on the dates and your pet's needs. Feel free to reach out with your schedule—I’m happy to see if we can find a good fit. When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is to keep their environment and routine as familiar and consistent as possible. I follow the owner's instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medications, training, sleeping arrangements, and any household rules. I take time to learn each pet's personality, energy level, boundaries, and normal behavior rather than assuming every animal should be handled the same way. I'll reinforce the commands and routines you already use instead of introducing unnecessary changes while you're away. I also understand that trusting someone with your pet means trusting them with your home. I treat both with respect, keep the areas I use clean and organized, secure doors and entrances carefully, and communicate if anything unusual happens. During visits or overnight stays, I can provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing and can feel confident that they're safe, comfortable, and receiving attention.

About: Over the course of my time I've taken care of and lived with goldfish, parakeets, a big old mutt, several great cats...and chickens. Considering that I grew up in Manhattan, I'd say that if that doesn't account for exeptional qualifications to love and care for our furry (or scaly, or feathered) friends, I'm not sure what could! Our kids are off exploring the world as newly minted adults leaving my wife and I with two finicky cats. With a little extra time on my hands I thought it would be a good idea to help other pet owners out to work all day or preferably, gone on a much needed vacation but looking for someone to check in on their furry loved ones. I freelance from home as a designer, so I typically have time at both ends of the day to extend a helping hand to anyone who needs a little extra care for their pet. We have 2 cats at home of whom I am the primary caretaker of, so adding a visit to a neighbor in need would be easy. I will follow all instructions and care indications you give for your pet(s) to the letter and provide pictures of completion if you request it.

About: I’m patient and gentle with dogs who need extra time to feel comfortable around new people. I also enjoy working with puppies and providing calm, consistent care tailored to each dog’s personality and needs. My goal is to help every pet feel safe, loved, and happy while in my care. I currently work Monday-Thursday 9:30am-4pm. I can do walks/drop in visits before and after work. Friday-Sunday I have all fall day to help care for your pet! I care for every pet as if they were my own, providing safe, attentive, and loving care during each walk or sitting visit. I follow your pet’s routine and care instructions, use safe leash practices, provide plenty of exercise and companionship, and make sure they are comfortable before I leave. I’ll also send photos and videos during each visit, along with updates, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Assisted Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians in running our Animal Hospital that serves about 25+ small animals per day. Worked individually and with a team to do grooming procedures such as medicated baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, and sanitary shaves. Provided a calm and comforting environment while assisting with & administrating medications, vaccinations, blood draws, x-rays, etc. Maintained a fear-free environment and prevented waiting-area conflicts between patients while at the front desk completing clerical duties. Currently caring for clients with a diverse abilities and needs in the comfort of their homes. I am applying to veterinary school and have a lot if flexibility with my schedule. Since I'm taking a break from working in hospitals and focusing on my academics, I would love to keep petcare as part of my routine, and I can adapt to your pet's routine. I treat overnight stays like your furry friends favorite sleepover. I will be sure to maintain their daily routines promptly and thoroughly, sprinkle in some of their favorite things, and shower them in love to keep them distracted from missing you too much while you're away. As for my more shy friends, I will be sure to acts smoothly and calmly throughout the night. I will try to build their trust by bringing as much predictibility as possible in this unusual situation.

I adopted my first dog and rabbit when I was 9. Then, about 10 years ago, I fostered 2 dogs from a shelter and wound up adopting one of them. I have taken a lot of my neighbours and friends dogs on walks to the park and around the neighbourhood. I have a lot of experience with feeding, playing, cleaning, and walking dogs. Since I’m a nurse, I’m open to medical accommodations as well! Overall, any furbaby deserves eternal love! I'm up for discussion about availability and hours. Since I have 2 pets of my own, an example of my usual pet routine consists of morning breakfast, walking the dog 3 times a day, playing with my cat throughout the day, and dinner. For your own pets, I can come to visit and play, feed and/or walk. Just let me know what their routine is like! First things first, safety! I will always assess the well being of your fur baby first. When going on walks, I am careful about street safety and weather to make sure we are safe on all aspects! Any weather that may be too intense can be dangerous for pets. I am very receptive to body language, which is so important with animals since it’s their way to communicate. Everyone, including our fur babies, deserves to have their own boundaries respected.

He can be high energy and difficult towards my older 10 year old cat Nellie, but Juliana handles them with such love and patience. She is able to separate them during feeding times and distract Clark with playtime! She is always prompt and goes above and beyond to ensure I feel at ease that the cats are doing well while I’m away. When Juliana is watching them, I never worry!”
