Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Someone at work brought in kittens from a litter nearby, and I instantly bonded with the tiny one that crawled into my lap named Bear. I'm comfortable feeding cats, refreshing their water, playing with them, brushing them, providing companionship, following medication instructions that I'm comfortable performing, and caring for them while their owners are away. About: I have been living with a dog (at one time with 3) since 2010. We recently said goodbye to our lab/retriever mix and are not quite yet ready to adopt a dog again but we miss having a dog around. As a pet parent I understand how stressful it can be finding reliable care and finding someone who will love your dog as much you do. It can also be tough when you find out you have to work late and will need someone to come to your rescue to let your baby out and feed them. When I’m not walking dogs, I’m taking care of my human children (who also love dogs) which means I have a somewhat flexible schedule, and I spend a lot of time outdoors. We have always found lots of fun outdoor bonding opportunities everywhere we have lived with our dog. We both love being outside and being active and I would love to share this hobby with your dog too! I am a full time mom to two school aged children. I have reliable blocks of availability for the most part. I am in and out during the day and my husband works from home a lot of the time as qell. We’re very big on walks, dog parks, fetch (our sweet pup was inexhaustible and could play fetch for hours), and my kids practically live in our yard so I’m outdoors a lot when I’m home. When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I follow the care instructions given by the pet parent.

About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. Sometimes I go out to run a few errands which means I put the dogs in a crate but my mother works from home 2 days out of the week so if she’s there, she’ll keep them out and moving around on their own! Other than that, I am very free! Other than that, they will be taken great care of by me. In my home I have a huge clean yard that runs through the back, side and front it is fenced so the dogs could run freely around for daily exercise. I also love to walk so if your dog also loves to, we will definitely be a great match! I have two dogs of my own that’ll keep your lovely dog(s) company. They are very playful and welcoming, one is 6 years old and the other one is 5 years old, with all their shots and up to date with all doctor appointments. This is a smoke free house also. Your baby will be happy & safe here!

I know that some dogs want to play immediately, while others need patience and time before they feel comfortable with someone new. I bring that same patience and attention to every pet I care for. I'll follow your instructions closely and do my best to keep your dog's routine consistent, safe, and enjoyable while you're away. My schedule is flexible, with my strongest availability from Sunday through Wednesday for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I'm also open to longer stays and recurring bookings during those days. Thursday and Friday availability may vary, but I can sometimes accommodate evening or overnight care if a later arrival works for your pet's routine. Weekend requests may also be possible depending on the dates and your pet's needs. Feel free to reach out with your schedule—I’m happy to see if we can find a good fit. When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is to keep their environment and routine as familiar and consistent as possible. I follow the owner's instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medications, training, sleeping arrangements, and any household rules. I take time to learn each pet's personality, energy level, boundaries, and normal behavior rather than assuming every animal should be handled the same way. I'll reinforce the commands and routines you already use instead of introducing unnecessary changes while you're away. I also understand that trusting someone with your pet means trusting them with your home. I treat both with respect, keep the areas I use clean and organized, secure doors and entrances carefully, and communicate if anything unusual happens. During visits or overnight stays, I can provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing and can feel confident that they're safe, comfortable, and receiving attention.
About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats, including feeding, walking, playtime, and providing companionship. I’m very attentive when it comes to routines, comfort, and I always prioritize safety and patience. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important trust is when caring for someone’s beloved animal. I’m open to caring for pets of any age or disability, and providing as much attention as needed. I have a college classes(online and face to face) throughout the week and a part time job( mainly 10-15 hours) but i mainly stay at home so i am able to pay attention to your pet at all times. If you’re comfortable with it i love to take them with me for small errands or nice views just so they are not left alone at home. I live in a very walkable town. Your pet will be able to roam freely around the house if needed, and/or have their own space if they are shy. I’m capable of moving things around for comfortability. Pets will never be left unattended for long periods of time. I don’t own additional dogs or cats but i have rabbits kept in their own secure caged space. I can and WILL follow all care instructions. I would be happy to provide updates and photos at any time.
