My dog at home is a rescue who has some fear and anxiety-related issues, and I have become very comfortable with dogs who need a little bit extra attention and care to be able to come out of their shells. I work late afternoon to evening most days, so I have daytime availability. Before going to work, I love to take walks on my own! I have a fenced-in yard with plenty of space for dogs to run around. About: Over the course of my time I've taken care of and lived with goldfish, parakeets, a big old mutt, several great cats...and chickens. Considering that I grew up in Manhattan, I'd say that if that doesn't account for exeptional qualifications to love and care for our furry (or scaly, or feathered) friends, I'm not sure what could! Our kids are off exploring the world as newly minted adults leaving my wife and I with two finicky cats. With a little extra time on my hands I thought it would be a good idea to help other pet owners out to work all day or preferably, gone on a much needed vacation but looking for someone to check in on their furry loved ones.
