“If you want your pup to feel like they're at a home away from home - book with Tina. She and her family (two young children who will entertain your dog endlessly) will provide a loving environment with lots of play and attention. I boarded my 7 year old pit mix for several days and he felt right at home immediately. Tina was great sharing photos and videos of Lincoln playing in the fenced in back and taking lots of walks (I think he thought twice about coming back home :)). So happy I found her.”

“Teddy seemed to really enjoy his stay with Alissa. He looked happy in the pictures that she sent us and he came back home not mad at us for leaving him. Thank you so much for taking such good care of teddy!”

“My pug Charlie had another wonderful time with Abbie and Peachy. Charlie feels really safe with Abbie even though she is a little anxious and Peachy is a great friend that helps Charlie to stay active and socialized especially in this cold weather. Outstanding hosts!”

“Michele was great, she took good care of Zuko and sent a ton of pictures. She was accommodating and flexible to his needs as well. Thank you to Michele for being a great sitter”

“Shirley is the best! She is responsible, kind, and very communicative. We appreciated all the photos she shared and took comfort knowing that our puppy was in great hands with Shirley. You can tell that she is a true animal lover. Highly recommended!!”

“We had a unique situation that lead us to Eric and he was incredibly accommodating. I forgot my dog's bed and he was able to provide one. He took great care of our shepherd and sent us several photos to show us our dog was doing just fine. Eric is a super nice guy to boot! Would highly recommend!”

“Michelle is fantastic! She checked in with me multiple times each day and sent pictures and videos whenever possible. She was responsive when I sent messages and questions. My pups were well taken care of.”

“Britany watched my dog Reginald while I was away on vacation. Reggie can be wary of strangers sometimes but he instantly felt comfortable with Britany, and as soon as I saw her yard full of dog toys, I knew that my pup was in good hands. Britany kept me updated throughout his visit, and he was pooped when I picked him up so he definitely had a great time. I would certainly book with Britany again.”

“The best sitter to book with! Xiaoying and her family are excellent and truly the sweetest! I had an overnight cat sitting service with them for a 7 nights and they sent me daily photos and videos and made sure to keep me updated! They also brought so many toys, a cat tree, and cat hideaway spots for my cat. My cat Lucki didn’t want to leave he really liked it there and it’s like his second home now😊 will definitely be rebooking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter or boarding service! ❤️”

“I can’t say enough good things about V! It’s always hard leaving Bluey behind, but they made it so much easier by sending regular updates and photos. My dog was clearly happy, well-cared for, and relaxed when I got home. Highly recommend!”

“Julia was terrific! She and Bailey hit it off right away. Got a bunch of pics with Bailey out for a walk, playing with toys and a restful night sleep. Will use Julia again!”

“Vanessa was wonderful with our little Franklin. Her husband and daughter were also very friendly and sweet. They took great care of our baby. I would absolutely use Vanessa again when we need a dog sitter.”

“When I left Hartley at Karina's she was definitely nervous, but I felt confident she would be okay. Over the next few days Harley had a really rough time, but Karina kept me appraised about everything that was going on, and worked with me to find solutions for her anxiety. I felt a thousand times better knowing even though she was super stressed, Karina spent every second keeping her as calm as possible and making the situation as good for her as possible. I would highly recommend leaving an animal in her loving care with no reservations. She was amazing for my dog and for me.”

“"Jenny exceeded all my expectations! She kept me updated with photos and videos, ensured my dog's routine was maintained, and even gave extra TLC. Thank you, Jenny, for giving me peace of mind while I was away! Five stars isn't enough – I'd give her ten stars if I could!"”

“Michael was absolutely fantastic! He took amazing care of our pups and kept us updated with daily photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear they were happy, well cared for, and in great hands. We are incredibly grateful for his dedication and would 100% trust him again for any future dog-sitting needs. Highly recommend!”
“Dilania is exceptional if they had more than 5 stars i would exceed . She took amazing care of charlie he was so thrilled being there while she consistently kept us in communication with texts and videos. She comes along with a book of knowledge very experienced !! Charlie will be returning to her and only her . Stop scrolling and select Dilania if you want dedicated and nurturing knowledgeable care giver for your animal. Love Casper and Cody 🌻”

“My first time booking with Wendy and everything was amazing! If we are ever in need of petsitting again, Wendy would be my first call. She was extremely communicative throughout, and sent us lots of photos and videos. My dog is a bit sensitive and like our baby, so we do not trust her in anyone’s hands. That said, I found her to be trustworthy and I knew my fur baby was in good hands!”

“We have had Neo at their place multiple times and I can vouch for them. They make sure to share tons of videos and photos and are always available to check in . Would definitely recommend them.”

I work full time in NYC in and can do walks in the afternoon lunch hour most weekdays. Weekends are always free for more walk and play time. Willing to adjust and accommodate with your schedule! About: Every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for—even when you’re away. That’s exactly the kind of care I provide. As a lifelong animal lover, I understand that pets are family. I share my home with my sweet 6-year-old Cavapoo and my gentle 10-year-old Scottish Fold cat, so I know firsthand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family members. Before joining Rover, I worked at Dogtopia, where I cared for groups of up to 20 dogs at a time. That experience taught me how to understand different personalities, recognize body language, manage dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and ensure every pup feels safe, comfortable, and happy. When I was younger, I babysat and walked dogs for relatives and neighbors. I also know that leaving your pet can be stressful for you, too. That’s why I make communication a priority. You’ll receive regular photo updates, videos, and text messages so you can see your pet enjoying their day and have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands. When I care for your pet, my goal is simple: I want them to feel as comfortable, happy, and loved as they do when they’re with you. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family member and become someone you can count on whenever you need an extra helping hand. I am currently on summer break from college. From September 2026, I will be available to work at any time on Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoon/evenings and Saturday and Sunday. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply quiet companionship, I’ll tailor every visit to their unique personality and routine. I believe every pet deserves individual attention, patience, and lots of affection. That is how I am with my dog Flash and my beautiful cat, Princess Leia. Honestly, no request is too much, my dog and cat both are very particular in their ways.

“Jasper was super kind and patient with our kitties who are skittish and let them come to him on their own time. They relaxed enough with him to let him hold them on their backs or rub their bellies, so they were very comfortable in his space. Jasper sent us photos and videos while we were away, and even played a recorded voice message for them for us. All in all, we were very happy with Jasper’s service and will definitely use him again in the future. He plainly loves animals, and his apartment is kitten Disneyland.”

They have a gorgeous fenced in backyard where Jameson and their sweet pup Storm played. Additionally, they were so personable and sweet. We’d definitely recommend them!”
“Eric took such wonderful care of my 7 lb dog, Shelby! Shelby is a small pup who needs a lot of extra love and attention, and Eric made sure she felt safe, cozy, and completely showered with affection the entire time. About: https://www.rover.com/sit/geethk04148 Use this to get $20 off your first booking. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember — fostering puppies and kittens, helping them find loving forever homes, and caring for my own pets over the years. I grew up with a gentle Labrador who will always hold a special place in my heart, and I now have a spirited 6-month-old Miniature Pinscher mix rescue who keeps me on my toes and fills my days with joy. My experience ranges from raising playful puppies and kittens to caring for older dogs and cats, and I understand the patience, attention, and consistency they need. I’ve even traveled multiple times with my own dog between Florida and other states, so I know how to keep pets comfortable and secure in different environments. While I’m new to Rover and don’t yet have reviews, I bring dedication, reliability, and genuine love for animals to every job. If trusted with your pet, I’ll treat them like my own — ensuring they’re safe, happy, and cared for as if you never left. I work from home full-time, which means your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. From regular walks and play sessions to cuddle breaks and feeding schedules, I can be there for your furry friend every step of the way. Their comfort and happiness will be part of my daily routine. I have a spacious yard where dogs can enjoy fresh air and playtime, safe for outdoor fun. For exercise, I can also take dogs on leashed walks around the neighborhood or to nearby pet-friendly areas. Inside my home, pets have a comfortable and safe environment with plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at ease. I make sure fresh water is always available, follow their feeding schedule exactly, and give them lots of affection and attention. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and keep routines consistent — from walks and play to feeding and medication (if needed). I make sure your pet feels loved and secure until you return. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are my top priorities — they’ll be treated like part of the family from the moment they arrive.

About: What truly sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience as a devoted pet parent — especially with senior dogs and emotionally sensitive pets. I cared for my beloved senior dog Rocki for 14 years, supporting him through every stage of life, including the extra patience, gentleness, and attentiveness senior dogs need. Today, I share my life with my dog River and also help care for my partner’s 16-year-old senior dog, so I am very comfortable with senior care, slower mobility, routine-based needs, and gentle handling. I’m highly attentive to body language, emotional comfort, and stress signals, which helps me support anxious, sensitive, or aging dogs in a calm and reassuring way. My home provides a safe, structured, and loving environment where dogs can feel secure and relaxed. I’m also patient and consistent with younger dogs, helping reinforce routines, calm behavior, and positive habits through gentle guidance and structure. Every dog in my care is treated like family with safety, emotional awareness, patience, and genuine love. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I structure my days around consistent walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and calm rest periods for my own dog, River, as well as my partner’s senior dog. Because caring for animals is already part of my everyday routine, I’m able to provide dependable, attentive, and structured care for pets staying with me. I prioritize supervision, emotional comfort, and routine so every dog feels safe, relaxed, and cared for throughout the day. In my home, pets are treated like family in a calm, safe, and loving environment. I follow each dog’s normal routine closely, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of rest and comfort. I pay close attention to body language, emotional needs, and stress signals to ensure every dog feels secure and relaxed. My home includes a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, cozy indoor rest areas, and close supervision throughout the day. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s established routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide gentle, attentive care, ensure safety, and send regular updates with photos so pet parents always feel reassured while they’re away.

About: Hi, I'm Bri! I am 28 years old and a registered nurse (for humans). I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’m considering a career in animal care too! I adopted my first dog and rabbit when I was 9. Then, about 10 years ago, I fostered 2 dogs from a shelter and wound up adopting one of them. Please feel free to ask me any questions about references or my services! I’m currently unemployed so my availability is very flexible. First things first, safety! I will always assess the well being of your fur baby. I am receptive to body language and when an animal may be feeling uncomfortable. Everyone, including our fur babies, deserves to have their own boundaries respected. This will ensure we are both having a great time (:

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up in a house full of animals—at one point, we had three dogs, two cats, two bunnies, and even a chinchilla! I’ve always felt deeply connected to animals and understand the unique personalities and needs that come with each one. I currently volunteer with the Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group, and in the past, I’ve volunteered at North Shore Animal League and the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, where I worked with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. These experiences have helped me learn to read animal behavior, approach with patience and kindness, and make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. Though I’m now a bunny mom, I miss being around dogs—which is why I’m on Rover! Whether your pup needs a walk, some playtime, or just a little extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help. I do have a full-time job and mainly do this as a hobby because I genuinely love being around animals! That said, my work schedule is flexible, so I can definitely be available on an as-needed basis to help care for your pet. If you’re able to give me a little advance notice, I can usually move things around to make it work. I’m here because I enjoy it—not as a side hustle—so your pet will get care that comes from the heart. While I don’t offer pet care in my own home due to having rabbits, I’m more than happy to come to your home and care for your pet there! I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well taken care of in their own familiar space.
“Alexis was amazing with our new puppy who is still learning how to walk, not jump, etc. She was always patient and willing to be flexible if our pup wouldn’t walk, playing with him in the yard instead. She is reliable and on time. We highly recommend Alexis!”

“Melissa was great! Our pup really loved her dogs and in the photos and videos he seemed so happy! We were really worried about leaving him for two weeks as it was the first time being away from him for so long. Would definitely use Melissa as a sitter again!”

“Left my fur baby pittie with Jana and you can tell she is a true dog lover. Busta was very happy and spoiled with long walks. I was kept up to date throughout his stay. Highly recommend and will be a repeat customer. Thanks for taking good care of him.”

“Judy was phenomenal, we where very hesitant to leave our dog with a stranger for the first time but judy took Yoshi as part of her family, gave us pictures updates on a regular basis where he was looking just like at home. Judy is a fantastic individual.”

“My pups run to Ilona and her home when they come to stay! This is rare for my dogs as they are anxious and are homebodies. She has a wonderful environment for dogs and and Goes above and beyond for them!”

“This was my first time ever using Rover and I couldn’t be happier. Vanessa was great and took really good care of my dog Jax. I could tell he was very happy when he was there especially when he was playing with Oreo and Moreno!! Vanessa is a great and trustworthy person and definitely will be going thru her again 😊”

“Kate was outstanding from start to finish. She made us feel comfortable with leaving our dog with her and went above and beyond to take care of him. She had her own space separate from other animals she has and stayed there with our dog the entire time. Kate sent us daily updates and made sure he was safe and well taken care of. We were so relieved to find a genuinely nice, caring person that we would book again. Thanks, Kate!”

“Wow! I can't thank Christopher enough for the amazing care they provided! Nova came back home happy and healthy, and I could tell she had a blast with them. From regular updates to going above and beyond in ensuring her comfort, I'm beyond grateful for their exceptional service. Nova found her home away from home, and I found peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”
