We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. I adopted my first dog and rabbit when I was 9. Then, about 10 years ago, I fostered 2 dogs from a shelter and wound up adopting one of them. I have taken a lot of my neighbours and friends dogs on walks to the park and around the neighbourhood. I have a lot of experience with feeding, playing, cleaning, and walking dogs. Since I have 2 pets of my own, an example of my usual pet routine consists of morning breakfast, walking the dog 3 times a day, playing with my cat throughout the day, and dinner. For your own pets, I can come to visit and play, feed and/or walk. Just let me know what their routine is like! First things first, safety! I will always assess the well being of your fur baby first. When going on walks, I am careful about street safety and weather to make sure we are safe on all aspects! Any weather that may be too intense can be dangerous for pets. I am very receptive to body language, which is so important with animals since it’s their way to communicate. Everyone, including our fur babies, deserves to have their own boundaries respected.

I own a 2014 Honda CRV, can safely transport myself as well as your harnessed dog(s) to/from daycare, on walks/hikes and specifically planned outings for your pets in order to train and socialize. About: I have had over 7 years of experience taking care of my own dogs, as well as dog-sitting/walking for family and friends, so I decided to take my skills and passion for dogs to Rover. I have also recently fostered and trained a one year old (and 80 pound untrained) foster puppy at college this past year! I am such an attentive, responsive, and caring dog lover and will always adapt to owners’ requests! This summer I will be freshly graduated from college, waiting to start my full time job in August, so my schedule is completely free and I am available to take care of your pups round the clock!!! I have a couple weekend trips planned here and there but my summer schedule is otherwise wide open! I am super respectful of the property and privacy of other’s I have dog and cat set for numerous friends and family before and will always leave your space cleaner than I left it! As someone who has hired and used dog-sitters in the past, I understand how much trust it takes to allow someone else to take care of your precious pup, so I will be sure to keep a constant line of communication about how your dog is doing whether it’s just me letting them out to go to the bathroom or a full dog-sitting stay!

About: I have taken care of my friends’ cats and dogs. I am gentle with a lot of patience and love to play with dogs. I have a lovely Goldie at home and she is very sweet and gentle. I stay at home from Monday - Friday and I have a backyard where our furry friends can play. I am usually free and got a lot of time. I have a fenced yard where dogs can play and I also love to take dogs out for walks. If we get close and they trust me, I’m also happy to take them out for hiking.

He let me know that he had another booking that would overlap mine, which turned out OK but would have been an issue if the dogs didn’t get along. His apartment is small and it would have been difficult to keep the dogs separated. Also I would have appreciated more photos, especially on the first day with the other dog. He responded promptly with pictures when prompted. Overall, I would recommend him.”
