Gracie, my 1 1/2 year old Maltipoo can be challenging and she was so patient and amazing with her. I felt so at ease going to my sister's wedding knowing that someone so caring, reliable, understanding, professional, and communicative was in my home with my fur baby. What I love most about Anna is her love for animals which shines through as soon as you meet her. She will contact you with any questions, which I love, and sent pictures and updates, also love! About: I’ve had numerous cats, dogs, birds and a rabbit! I love animals and the unconditional love they give in return. I would love to have the opportunity to take care of your babies while you are gone and give you the piece of mind you are looking for. I’m retired and have plenty of time to play and check on your fur baby! I adore animals and will love yours as much as I love my own! Currently I am offering services in your home only as I have a high energy puppy in mine. If your dog also is high energy and wants/craves stimulation with a like minded pup, I’d be more than happy to see how they get along! My home has a fenced in yard as well as a doggie door, and my dogs go on numerous walks per day.

“Kat was amazing with my two big dogs. We have an Australian Shepherd and German Shepherd and can be a lot. Kat made this process so simple. She came for a meet and greet and my dogs (and kids) liked her right away. While we were away, Kat stayed with them in our home. We got a lot of updates and pictures. We came home to a clean house and very happy dogs. Now we can’t wait to go on vacation again, since we know we don’t have to worry about the doggies!”

“Amanda N. did a great job housesitting our dog Maru for an evening. Although they had not previously met, within minutes of arriving at our home, Amanda was able to befriend our 1 year old puppy. This is not the easiest task for many people, as our puppy has a bit of a guard dog personality and can be standoffish with strangers until she gets to know them. Not a problem for Amanda, who has real dog skills and had Maru playing games with her (and eating out of her hand) almost immediately. I recommend Amanda and plan to engage her again, next time we need a sitter for Maru.”

About: I am a certified canine coach for a local dog daycare company, with expert experience in play management, basic training, and of course, showering all pups with love. I recently graduated with a degree in Wildlife Biology, giving me a solid understanding of animal behavior, dog breeds and temperaments, and basic mammal morphology. I absolutely adore dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, from 5 lb yorkies to 150 lb mutts! I have experience with all age ranges, having raised my childhood beagle from 4 months to senior years, along with currently raising a 3 year old golden cavalier. I am currently (as of june 2026) working part-time as a naturalist for Nassau BOCES. I often teach programs during the day but am regularly available for overnight stays and mid-day check ins. My program locations change daily but are all located within nassau county, and can be shared with you at the beginning of the month. I take great pride in providing the best care for your pup, helping them to stay on your set routines. While staying at your home, I will provide enrichment, exercise, and basic training along with tons of cuddles and love. I can crate dogs or have them cuddle up in bed with me depending on your preferences. Walks, feedings, and drop in can be scheduled at your convenience, barring my schedule for my daytime work.

He was excellent with her multiple medical issues, including, my girls, diabetes, which requires injectable insulin twice a day. He sent us constant updates multiple times a day, which included photos and video! He was so respectful of staying in our home and left it clean and tidy after his visit.
