“Lisa was great! She was very focused on learning every detail she could about Malcolm ahead of the walk, and even came to meet us before we confirmed. It was a nasty, cold rainy day and Lisa showed up on time, with a smile and ready to roll! We will definitely be seeing her again!”

“Anna did a great job walking our dog while we were away on vacation. Despite the snow and freezing temperatures, she walked her for the full 30 minutes twice a day every day. She was very flexible when I asked her to pick the dog up at a different location and communicated a bunch of times to update me on how things were going. I highly recommend using Anna.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 20 years. I’ve had a Britney spaniel and a cavalier King Charles spaniel. The Britney spaniel lived till she was 18 years old so I am very familiar with senior dog care and the special tasks that they require. I am currently an owner of two dogs a chocolate lab and a cava poo. The chocolate lab is seven years old and the cava poo just turned one years old. I am familiar and comfortable walking dogs of any size whether they are small and 10 pounds or 80 pounds plus. I am a teacher and I work from 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday. I am primarily available to walk dogs after work so that would be between 4:30 PM and 10 PM. I am unavailable to walk dogs currently on Monday’s and Wednesdays because I am in grad school I have class after work. I am available on the weekends all day, I have no work commitments. For my own two dogs, they get walked three times a day and fed twice a day. They have yearly vet visits, depending on what vaccines or check ups that are needed. They go to the groomer based on need, the Cava Poo goes every six weeks and the chocolate lab goes every couple months. I’ve taken care of dogs in my neighborhood and have followed their walking and care instructions to the greatest detail possible.
About: I will treat any pet as if they were my own. Pets are a part of our family and I believe in treating them as such. I have cared for all ages of animals, from day old kittens to senior dogs and cats. Nothing is too much for me to do! My weekly routine typically only consists of being a student, and taking care of my pets. However, it is currently summer, and with school being out I have open availability! My home has a fenced in front and backyard area where my dogs would play. My cats have a screened in catio attached to the back area of my house! Both my dogs and cats are fed a mix of raw and kibble food.

About: Hi, I'm Bridget! Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier and have spent years caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. In December 2019, I adopted my senior rescue dog, Abbott, a Chihuahua mix who quickly became my best friend and constant companion. She passed away in March 2026, and caring for her through her senior years taught me so much about patience, compassion, and attentive pet care. I currently have a 2-year-old rescue pup named Clover, who is incredibly sweet and keeps me smiling every day. I'm a licensed therapist by profession, which means I bring patience, reliability, strong communication skills, and a calm presence to every interaction—both with pets and their humans. My husband and I recently moved to Long Island for his medical residency, but I'm not new to Rover. I've been dog walking and pet sitting through Rover for years while living in Washington, DC and Philadelphia, and I've loved building relationships with pets and their families along the way. I'm an active person and enjoy walking, running, and spending time outdoors. Whether your dog prefers a leisurely stroll, a brisk walk, or a jogging companion to burn off extra energy, I'm happy to tailor our time together to their needs. When caring for your pet, I treat them like one of my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else's hands, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can expect dependable care, regular updates, and plenty of photos so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and loved. I can't wait to meet you and your pup! I recently relocated to Long Island and currently have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the day. Once I return to my full-time therapy practice, I will continue to offer flexible scheduling, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and many daytime appointments. Feel free to reach out—even if your request falls outside my listed availability, I may still be able to accommodate it! Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. As both a dog owner and experienced Rover sitter, I understand how important it is to know your pet is in caring and capable hands. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, triggers, and preferences so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. During walks and visits, I remain attentive to my surroundings, follow all owner instructions carefully, and prioritize safe handling practices at all times.

About: I have three dogs of my own, so caring for animals is a consistent and structured part of my daily routine. I prioritize long, intentional walks, enrichment, and balanced play to support both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I’m experienced with both dogs and cats, and comfortable with a wide range of sizes, breeds, and temperaments. With dogs, I’m familiar with everything from small companion breeds to larger, more energetic dogs. With cats, I understand the importance of respecting their space, routines, and comfort levels. In both cases, I pay close attention to body language and behavioral cues so I can adapt my care to each pet’s individual needs. I also have experience supporting animals with separation anxiety by providing a calm presence, consistency, and reassurance so they feel secure while their owners are away. I focus on creating a stable, predictable environment that helps reduce stress and build trust. Reliability, patience, and consistency are central to my care. I take time to understand each pet’s routine and reinforce positive behaviors during walks and visits, always aiming to maintain the structure and comfort they are used to at home. I’ve been around animals my entire life and bring both intuition and responsibility to every booking. My goal is simple: to provide safe, attentive, and genuinely caring support so your pets feel comfortable, understood, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I already care for my own dogs every day. I’m used to structuring my schedule around consistent walks, feeding, playtime, and general care, so it’s already built into how I plan my days. I have full-day availability and a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of needs throughout the week, including dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I’m able to adjust my day based on each pet’s routine so they receive consistent, reliable care at the times they’re used to. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight house sitting, I prioritize being present, dependable, and attentive. My goal is to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible while providing calm, consistent care throughout the day or stay. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, respect, and maintaining a calm, familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box care, and any specific instructions provided, to ensure consistency and comfort. I am very attentive to each pet’s behavior and body language, which helps me respond appropriately to their needs and ensure they feel safe and understood. For pets that may experience anxiety, I focus on providing a steady, reassuring presence and minimizing disruption to their normal routine. I also provide updates as needed so owners feel informed and at ease throughout my care. I treat every home with care and responsibility, making sure to keep the space clean, secure, and exactly as I found it, while being mindful of safety at all times, including doors, leashes, and any specific household guidelines. My goal is to create a stable, trustworthy environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for, and owners feel confident that both their home and their pet are in reliable hands.

John is the best dog walker we have ever had. He came over for 2 meet and greets to make sure our Coco was comfortable. He is an animal lover and it shows. My dog often won’t eat when we are gone. He ate all of his food. John took amazing care of Coco. He is always on time!

Julia was absolutely amazing. We booked her to feed and walk our golden Doc. She went above and beyond, taking care of our house and packages and even spending extra time with Doc to keep him company. She updated us every day after each walk, sending photos and messages. Julia is so kind and clearly has a love for animals. It was nice to know our pup was in such great care while we were away. Thank you Julia!!
