About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was ten years old, and I have seventeen years of hands-on experience as a dog owner and caregiver in my adulthood. Family, friends, and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their dogs. I have experience with puppies through senior dogs, including puppy training and reinforcing established routines. I am comfortable administering medications and caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, and I am CPR certified. My own dog was my baby and truly like a son to me. We spent seventeen years together before he recently passed away in April. He traveled with me, went everywhere with me, and was a huge part of my life. Being a devoted dog owner myself taught me how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care. I will treat your dog with the same love, patience, attention, and respect I gave my own. I work full-time during the week, so I am primarily available for boarding and daycare on weekends and holidays, when I can devote plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. If your dog is comfortable being home alone during my workday, weekday care may also be possible, and we can discuss your dog's individual routine and needs beforehand. When I am caring for your dog, I want their normal routine to remain as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications, bathroom breaks, and bedtime routines. I live in a quiet home with a securely fenced backyard where your dog can safely spend time outside. I will only host 3 small or 2 medium dogs at a time. Dogs are welcome on my couches and beds, and if your dog normally sleeps with you, they are welcome to sleep with me too. I want my home to feel like their home while they are staying with me. I believe you know your dog better than anyone, so I will follow your care instructions closely. That includes feeding schedules, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, training routines, house rules, and any special needs or preferences. I also pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and overall comfort. My priority is making sure your dog is safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while giving you peace of mind while you're away.

She even took special care of him during the Fourth of July fireworks as he was scared and she comforted him. Alexa is amazing and Jack came back home very happy. From the beginning Alexa suggested and accommodated a meet and greet day, and Jack was more then happy to stay with Alexa the day of babysitting. We boarded Tank with Steven and Vee for a weekend, and it was the most relaxed we've felt leaving him. Since they already do his drop-ins, they know his routine and quirks, and they handled his eye drops and meds, so we could actually enjoy our trip. Tank is a rescue with separation anxiety, and it meant a lot that he was with people he already knows and trusts. They kept us updated with photos. We'll definitely book them again.
Joanna is an amazing sitter to our pups, as always. She accepted a very last minute request when my newborn decided to arrive to this world a little early, and was very understanding and flexible for us to extend the pups’ stay when I had complications from labor that kept me in the hospital longer than expected. We are very grateful to have found her here on rover. She is truly a gem and the pups absolutely love staying with her!
A last-minute family emergency led me to Grace, and I’m so grateful it did. She happily welcomed Danny and made it a priority to ensure he would feel comfortable and happy staying with her for the weekend.
