I live in apartment building that allows pets, has a lounge area and green space all around building. Around the building is the town in Mineola and Garden City so great for walking dogs and super dog friendly area! Super safe with young working people so walking the dog around the town and grass will be no problem. If the dog must stay at my apartment we have lots of space so the dog will have enough space to roam and feel comfortable.

About: I have a five-year-old Cavapoo whom I have cared for since he was a puppy. I work from home, allowing me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I also have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore. I work from home four days a week and would love to spend my extra time caring for your furry family members! As a homebody, I'm usually home and able to give your dog plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout their stay. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up in a house full of animals—at one point, we had three dogs, two cats, two bunnies, and even a chinchilla! I’ve always felt deeply connected to animals and understand the unique personalities and needs that come with each one. I currently volunteer with the Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group, and in the past, I’ve volunteered at North Shore Animal League and the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, where I worked with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. These experiences have helped me learn to read animal behavior, approach with patience and kindness, and make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. Though I’m now a bunny mom, I miss being around dogs—which is why I’m on Rover! Whether your pup needs a walk, some playtime, or just a little extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help. I do have a full-time job and mainly do this as a hobby because I genuinely love being around animals! That said, my work schedule is flexible, so I can definitely be available on an as-needed basis to help care for your pet. If you’re able to give me a little advance notice, I can usually move things around to make it work. I’m here because I enjoy it—not as a side hustle—so your pet will get care that comes from the heart. While I don’t offer pet care in my own home due to having rabbits, I’m more than happy to come to your home and care for your pet there! About: I have been taking care of animals my entire life. I have always had cats and grew up with a dog, and I have adopted formerly feral cats as well as orphaned kittens and puppies, and I have fostered special needs animals. I lived on a small farm starting from the age of 5, so I have experience with various types of animals and love them all. I have taken care of puppies and kittens as well as older pets. I've always been told that I'm great with animals and wanted to go into animal care from a young age. I started my own petsitting business in 2023 and have loved getting to know so many different animals. I recently moved to New York and am excited to get know even more pets here! I have plenty of time during the day to spend time with your animals and give them all the care they need. I have open availability most days. I always want my clients to have peace of mind while they're away and treat all pets like they're my own. I'm always careful to follow instructions on how to best care for the pets, and my priority is always to keep them safe and happy. I don't board animals in my home, since I have a formerly feral cat who is easily scared.

I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to help out with your four-legged friend! While my schedule varies from week to week, I always have the time to help you and your dog. I can easily crate dogs if need be, and can give medication to even the pickiest of eaters. I have no issues with getting dogs leashed, including getting them into harnesses or head-halters.

About: I have taken care of my friends’ cats and dogs. I am gentle with a lot of patience and love to play with dogs. I have a lovely Goldie at home and she is very sweet and gentle. I stay at home from Monday - Friday and I have a backyard where our furry friends can play. I am usually free and got a lot of time.
