About: I am always on top of my work and keep everything organized from schedules to lists. I worked at a pet grooming, boarding, and daycare center where I picked up knowledge on pet's needs. I've cared for family's pets and of course, my own dog is spoiled with love and care. I've worked for a senior dog sanctuary so I am experienced with administering medicine in a timely manner and understanding their behaviors. My dog is a senior herself, so any medications or vitamins the vet has given or recommended, I am on top of it. I graduated from college in May of 2025 and started working full-time right away. I am currently taking a break from working full-time so your pets can have my full attention and care when under my supervision. I am willing to move my schedule around for a more convenient experience. My care for client's pets would depend on the instruction they give me, as every pet's care varies. My dog at home is taken on a walk most mornings, but because of the weather lately she spends more time in our backyard. She also uses the bathroom in the yard, so she gets a lot of outside time. She eats at her usual time around 7:30am and 6pm and is given lots of love, cuddles, and playtime.

Multiple years experience as a veterinary assistant handling cats and dogs all day, while learning valuable skills in healthcare. One of the most important parts of this job was creating a comfortable environment for the pet to build trust with them. I will do the exact same with your pet. About: I've taken care of my family's dogs since young, One Samoyed, one Husky, and one Chihuahua. I was always the one spotting heath concerns and training them because if I didn't, no one would! Firm believer in positive reinforcement techniques and keeping all animals enriched. I love surrounding myself with and working around animals. They are very therapeutic to me so I make sure my day revolves around their care! Always more than willing to spend an entire day with an animal to make sure they're tended to. I make sure my dogs are able to go the bathrooms frequently as they need, and look for behavior cues in order to understand what they want. I also make sure that if two animals don't get along, they are separated and given ample distractions. I also make sure to give food at a certain time and get animals into a routine so that they aren't constantly eating and gain wait. Exercise and enrichment is also big to me.

I am also available for last minute requests such as walking or drop in services. I have a very friendly golden retriever that can accompany your dog on walks or for play dates during drop in visits only if requested. If not requested than I will walk your dog alone and come for drop in visits alone.

About: I'm a retired New York City public school educator of 33 years. I've been around pets all my life. I've been a pet owner since 2016 and pets literally save lives! Right now I'm retired and I literally can come and go as I please.I do have an official part-time position, but I am not on the schedule every day. I have a fenced in yard.
