About: Honestly? I’d do this for free — and I have, many times. I’ve cared for dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors my whole life, and recently completed a month-long live-in cat sit. My background working with kids in sports and with autism has made me patient, attentive, and calm in any situation. Your pet won’t just be watched, they’ll be treated like family. My schedule is about as flexible as it gets. I work part-time just a few hours every few days, and the rest of my time is spent working from home on my business. Your pet won’t be sitting alone waiting for someone to come home. They’ll have a present, engaged, companion, ready for walks, playtime, and everything in between. About: I am always on top of my work and keep everything organized from schedules to lists. I worked at a pet grooming, boarding, and daycare center where I picked up knowledge on pet's needs. I've cared for family's pets and of course, my own dog is spoiled with love and care. I've worked for a senior dog sanctuary so I am experienced with administering medicine in a timely manner and understanding their behaviors. My dog is a senior herself, so any medications or vitamins the vet has given or recommended, I am on top of it. I graduated from college in May of 2025 and started working full-time right away. I am currently taking a break from working full-time so your pets can have my full attention and care when under my supervision. I am willing to move my schedule around for a more convenient experience. My care for client's pets would depend on the instruction they give me, as every pet's care varies. My dog at home is taken on a walk most mornings, but because of the weather lately she spends more time in our backyard. She also uses the bathroom in the yard, so she gets a lot of outside time. She eats at her usual time around 7:30am and 6pm and is given lots of love, cuddles, and playtime.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes, treating each one like my own. From playful pups to senior snuggle bugs, I want your pets to feel safe, loved, and happy. I am a speech therapist at a skilled nursing facility who works close to home. I have a flexible schedule, allowing me to give your pet and mine plenty of attention and care. Plus, a loving family member is always home for extra company! I create a calm, loving environment with lots of play, cuddles, and routine. As a personal preference, we don’t do meet & greets in the home and don’t take more than one dog (unless it’s from the same family, 2 max). Big on sending updates and pictures.

About: I’ve looked after dogs of all types of dogs. Small, large, fluffy, skinny, you name it. Also love cats and looking after them as well. Would love to expand my horizons to other, less conventional pets some day. Maybe reptiles… I have lived with one or more pets consistently for more than half my life. Many pets and creatures I’ve called my friends. Would love to make it a full-time job someday. I act lovingly and compassionately towards the animals I’m watching, but show them that things like jumping and biting are not okay when considering how their trainers want their training schedule to look like. Every animal is different, so I take an individual approach.

About: I've had pets ever since I was born so I have a lot of experience taking care of them! I've helped out neighbors walk their dogs often and always enjoy it! I've had a dog for 10 years so I know a dogs routine! I volunteered at Cove Animal Rescue taking care of cats for a few months (as well as the 2 I have at home!). I’m currently a full time student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice so my availability will probably be limited but I will try my best to hopefully make myself available to be able to attend to your pets needs! I enjoy spending time with my dog and 2 cats when I’m home and always try to attend to their needs as much as I can. I'm a big animal person so I'm always glad to do it!

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. “Shibo was absolutely amazing! I have two male cats, and one of them I had just adopted 10 days before leaving for my trip. He was very skittish when I first got him, but he warmed up to Shibo right away. My other cat took a liking to him immediately as well—who wouldn’t! Shibo was so wonderful, giving my cats the attention they needed while I was away. In the past, I relied on neighbors and people just stopping by to feed and check on them, but my experience with Shibo has completely changed my perspective. It is worth every penny to have someone as great as him looking after your fur babies! When I returned, I could see the difference in my fluffy companions in the best way as this is very early in their introduction phase. I had peace of mind knowing they were well cared for. About: I’m currently in my second year of veterinary school at TuftsVet. I’ve had extensive animal experience as a result, including 500+ hours in a veterinary clinic. I’ve also worked full-time for a year at a veterinary pharmacy, and part-time as a kennel assistant at a dog and cat daycare where I mostly boarded, walked, and socialized with the dogs. I love animals, and want to give them the best care because that’s what they deserve! I unfortunately am only available until August, but my schedule over the summer is very flexible. The only day I am strictly unavailable are Sundays, but otherwise from 11am-7pm I am free. Check-ins will include checking their food/water, general status, and of course, playtime! Any instructions that the owner leaves will be followed and photos of the pet will be sent to the owner during check-ins.
