He let me know that he had another booking that would overlap mine, which turned out OK but would have been an issue if the dogs didn’t get along. His apartment is small and it would have been difficult to keep the dogs separated. Also I would have appreciated more photos, especially on the first day with the other dog. He responded promptly with pictures when prompted. Overall, I would recommend him.”

“Ilona is like my angel fallen from the sky. I booked her services with just a 48hour notice. I contacted her on a Saturday to see if she could take care of my miniature Schnauzer for Monday. She didn't hesitate on telling me we could meet and greet on that same day, so we did. Literally she has like and Angel fallen from the sky! I was desperately looking for a person who could take care of Pelusa, since my dog recently was diagnosed with a Brain tumor and Pancreatitis, and was given radiation treatment, so I didn't want to leave her alone at home for the first week. About: I've had a dog in my life since 6th grade. My family dog, Buddy, is a 12-lb cockapoo who's now 10 years old, and I've been part of his day-to-day care his whole life. During the school year, I also help care for my roommate's dog, Kiki, a shelter mix who was found abandoned as a puppy, she stays with me in our apartment while my roommate is away, and I handle her full daily care including feeding, walks, and playtime. I also worked as a camp counselor, which meant being fully responsible for others' wellbeing, sticking to schedules, and staying calm and attentive even when things got chaotic. I am an NYU student going into my senior year. Right now my schedule is wide open. I just finished my summer internship and don't start school again until after Labor Day. At this moment, I'm very flexible. Once classes start, I only have coursework two days a week, so I'll still have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and boarding throughout the week. I'm currently living at home with my family for the summer, in a house on Long Island with a fully fenced backyard, so there's plenty of safe space to play and roam. My own dog, Buddy, is around and is extremely friendly with both people and other dogs, so your pet will have a companion, not just a sitter. I also have experience with senior cats, including caring for an 18 year old cat with vision and mobility changes. I understand that every stage of life comes with different needs, and I’m happy to adapt my care accordingly. When we’re out on walks, I always bring waste bags and water, and I make safety my top priority. At home, I enjoy keeping pets engaged with play, enrichment, cuddles (if they want them!), and plenty of attention. I’m also more than happy to send frequent photo and video updates, because I know how comforting it is to see your pet happy while you’re away. “I had to leave my old and sick Lab for almost two weeks over the holidays and was extremely nervous about finding someone to take care of him. Grace and Luis took great care of him and kept me updated constantly throughout the trip, including letting me know when they had a concern immediately . They were also unfazed by his medicine schedule. My dog had also been having by some accidents inside so I provided diapers but was very nervous about that happening while we were away and Grace again was completely unfazed by it and took the time to get to know his potty schedule to minimize accidents. Additionally my vet would not refill his prescription before we left so I had to ask Grace to pick it up at CVS which she did happily. I am very grateful for the good care they took of Nash and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dog boarding.”
