About: I am a med student student who loves animals. I have been dog-sitting since I was a freshman in high school. I started off caring for an elderly dog who had a difficult time walking. I have also worked with a dog who had a limp due to an injured leg and needed to be given medication on time. With each time I sit, I give a summary at the end so that you can also know what your furry friend has been up to. Along with all the dogs I have worked with I also own an adopted dog. My family and I adopted him in my sophomore year of high school. He has taught me to be very patient and aware of his needs. I enjoy baking peanut butter cookies to feed him and have baked them for other clients. I am a great sitter because I will care for your dog as if it is my own. I will attend to his or her every need along with baking him/her treats. Something I can provide that others may not be able to provide is long walks along the National Mall. I am a dancer and enjoy going for runs. If a dog is able to, I would love to go for a run with him or her. I am a good sitter because I provide care that exceeds one's expectations. I have school for 2 hours on most days. Therefore pet care fits into my schedule easily. I enjoy going on walks which provide the perfect exercise for dogs. I also like baking and I tend to bake treats for my pets. I don't have a fence, however, I am at my desk when I am working. So I will be able to provide constant company to your pet. I love to go on walks and will take the pet as often as they need. I do not have my own yard, however, I do have a small fenced-in area I can take the dog for play time.

About: I got my first family dog when I was 8, and caring for him sparked a long-standing love for dogs. Since then, I’ve helped take care of him and other dogs, gaining hands-on experience with their daily needs, training, and routines. I currently work 9-6PM ET, but can be there to take care of your dog any time after that, and any time on the weekends. I provide attentive and personalized care for pets, whether in my home or the client’s. This includes feeding according to their schedule and dietary needs, providing fresh water, giving daily walks and exercise, offering playtime and mental stimulation, and ensuring lots of love and attention. I also follow any specific instructions from the pet owner, monitor for health or behavior changes, and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment at all times.

About: I have owned both cats and big and small dogs and am experienced in training, raising, and taking care of all types of dogs in various states of health and ages. I love all animals! I work part time as I am applying to masters programs right now, so I will have plenty of time for dog walks and animal drop ins! I do not offer boarding or day care at my own house because of the multiple outdoor cats and other animals (like raccoons) in my neighborhood.

Mochi has diabetes and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours in addition to another medication twice a week and Eleni was happy to learn and able to give Mochi his meds which can be a bit daunting and sometimes difficult depending on his mood. but Eleni was attentive and really took the time to learn and care for him properly! my other cat Kumo is a scaredy baby and rarely shows his face around people but Eleni was patient and really put effort into getting him comfortable with her. Eleni updated me with great details about how they’re doing and food. the weather was changing every day from being very cold and then very hot and Eleni proactively adjusted the thermostat accordingly when needed! she would turn on cat TV every couple days AND put treats in their treat games daily so they would stay occupied during the day. Mochi had an accident and Eleni didn't hesitate to clean it up and take out the trash. she really took care of everything!”

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am available for dog walking/sitting any time before 9 AM and after 5 PM on weekdays and any time on weekends! Just let me know a little in advanced and I will do my best to accommodate you. I have a fenced in backyard, as well as a pen for my puppy to keep him safe and happy. He enjoys running around outside in the backyard and I know he will be safe because it is fenced in.

I am dedicated to my work and providing the best care and animal welfare. I am available middle of the afternoons into the evenings Monday-Friday. I am available all day Saturday-Sunday. I am available for drop in visits and providing walks to animals that would be alone for a long period of time. I care for pets providing them the proper enriching environment and proper diet for their nutritional needs. About: Hi! I’m a full time patient service representative at a PT office soon to be reattending school. I’m looking to make some extra money to help save up for school as well during school to keep me afloat. Most importantly meeting new dogs. I have loved dogs since I was little and I have one of my own. He’s a 3 yr old Rottweiler mix named Montu. Previously I had a small morkie mix who unfortunately passed a few years back. I have tons of experience with dogs from my own to my friends and families. I have dog sitted at my home for my mom’s morkie. I love meeting new dogs and seeing each of their different personalities.
