About: I can’t wait to meet your pet! I am a vet student at Long Island University home for the summer looking for pet sitting opportunities. I have 5 years experience in a vet/ kennel setting. Given this, I am comfortable with pets of all needs. Currently working part time but I can be flexible and work around when you need me. I love to be active or just chill on the couch, whatever fits best with your pets typical lifestyle. I have many years of professional experience dealing with a wide range of pets. Pet safety is my number one priority. My first step as your pets new sitter will be to develop a safety plan so that you can have piece of mind.

About: I’ve taken care of many cats including one of my own in the past. I love taking care of cats, feeding them and seeing them happy! I have most of the week days available during Summer and may have nights and weekends after August, looking forward to caring for, playing with, walking and meeting your pup! I can crate train, and care for the animal based on the clients house and take all safety precautions including staying leashed outside and following all instructions

I work part time and make my own hours as a soccer coach. I play proefssional soccer and I am in the off season right now so I have some down time. And I am very flexible with scheduling care for animals. I will take dogs for walks around the neighborhood on leashes. I can take them on runs if they want exercise. I can take them to dog parks. I can play with them inside and outside.

About: While caring for two big doodles of her own, Madie has spent the last 6 years on Rover as a dedicated and excited walker! As a spunky Fashionista, and Musical Theatre major from Atlanta GA, she’s outgoing and works well with any breed, age, household, and attitude! Madie wants to get to know your fluffy friend next! I’m currently in school at LIU in New York and come home to Georgia for breaks. I am able to care for your fluffy friends about 5 days a week! Including walking, playing, feeding and more!! If your pet is home alone and needs some playtime I am available to come hangout with them and maybe even bring my own dogs for some company!

Being away for college makes me miss my own pets so caring for yours is a joy that feels like home. Im currently in school but am in class on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:50 am and 3:30 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in class from 9 am to 12 pm and free for the rest of the day. On Fridays I have on class at 11 am and nothing prior or after. The weekends are also free. I will always prioritize safety and respect when caring for pets in their own homes. I follow all the owner’s rules carefully—whether it’s about feeding schedules, playtime limits, or medication. I make sure doors and gates are secure, and keep a close eye on the pet’s behavior to spot any signs of stress or discomfort. Communication with the owner is important to me, so I keep them updated and address any concerns promptly. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel confident and comfortable.

About: CPDT-KA since 2021, Positive Reinforcement dog trainer since 2019. I’ve had rescue dogs since I was 13. Between experiences with my own rescue dogs, working and volunteering in animal shelters, being lead supervisor at a doggie daycare/boarding facility, pet photography, and several years in the pet retail industry, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and experiences. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to help out with your four-legged friend! While my schedule varies from week to week, I always have the time to help you and your dog. I can easily crate dogs if need be, and can give medication to even the pickiest of eaters. I have no issues with getting dogs leashed, including getting them into harnesses or head-halters.

About: I have owned pets since I was 4 years old. I have worked in the veterinary field since I was sixteen and am starting my 2nd year of veterinary school at Long Island University. Over the years I have pet sit for a total of 25 different dogs, 15 cats, a bearded dragon, a hamster, guinea pigs, and a turtle. I am able to medicate any dogs or cats, as well as give any injections needed (ex. insulin). I also have experience at a dog daycare where I was in charge of over 40 dogs of all sizes in one large yard together. I am currently working full time at UrgentVet and work second shift so I am available in the mornings or any time on my days off. When school starts at the end of August, I will be able to work around my class schedule and make adjustments as needed for your pet. I care for pets as if they are my own. I make sure they are comfortable and keep their daily routine that they are used to, to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible.

I'm usually good before 2pm in the daytime and then some evenings by appointment after 8pm-9m. If this doesn't work for you we can talk about making the schedule work to see if its possible. Comfortable with walking big dogs and dogs that push the walker as well. Have no problem with dogs of any size and good to get them to run around a while to get some energy out if needed.
