Such a great spirit and understanding of our dogs needs and temperament. She went above and beyond, playing basketball with him in the cold and recognized when he was stressed. She was great in cleaning behind our dog and following instructions to T in locking up the property.

Keoma is amazing. From the moment she walked in, she was so great with Bogart and Whiskey, which made me super comfortable about trusting them with her over the weekend. She sent me notes and photos after each visit and is so obviously an extremely caring and kind person. I highly recommend her.

About: I’ve been studying dogs and cats psychology in college and I know how to show patience to the beautiful creatures. I know about health problems and am super attentive! I love animals I take care of stray cats from time to time in need around my neighborhood and walk my friends dog a lot whenever needed and love showering animals with love. I take animal safety super serious. I would never leave the door or window open allowing the animal to escape. I always ensure that other outside animals don’t hurt the animal I am taking care of and humans as well. I do everything in my power to make sure the dog/cat is safe but still having fun.

About: I’ve had numerous cats, dogs, birds and a rabbit! I love animals and the unconditional love they give in return. I would love to have the opportunity to take care of your babies while you are gone and give you the piece of mind you are looking for. I’m retired and have plenty of time to play and check on your fur baby! I adore animals and will love yours as much as I love my own! Currently I am offering services in your home only as I have a high energy puppy in mine. If your dog also is high energy and wants/craves stimulation with a like minded pup, I’d be more than happy to see how they get along! My home has a fenced in yard as well as a doggie door, and my dogs go on numerous walks per day. Depending on the where and when, I might consider staying the night at your home with your babies so they are comfortable in their own environment.

About: Hi, I’m Cynthia ! I’m a young professional with a love for all animals looking to spread and gain some joy through my love for animals. At a party, you can spot this vegan in the corner spending time with the family's dog. Driven by a deep affection for dogs and a desire to enhance my physical health, I decided to explore dog walking and dog sitting services. This endeavor is not only a refreshing diversion from my corporate tech job but also a meaningful way to contribute beyond the confines of my computer. It’s a step towards a healthier lifestyle and a gesture of giving back to the world. --- I had my own little friend and we spent 12 years together. He battled a few medical issues making me equipped to handle any special needs of your dog. Every dog I meet, I am reminded of him. I’d like to think he is always beside me. Additionally, I spend time volunteering at animal shelters. Check out Bideawee! 🐾 --- I believe that every dog deserves personalized attention. My approach is tailored to each dog’s personality and needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, loved, and engaged during our walks. I provide nurturing care for puppies, ensuring safe and positive walks that cater to their curiosity. For senior dogs, I offer a peaceful companionship, mindful of their slower pace and physical needs. --- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or requires extra attention. I am highly experienced in senior dog care and am always happy to accommodate their specific routines. **Some of the conditions I have hands-on experience managing include: - Insulin administration: Experienced with strict schedules and monitoring for diabetic dogs (which I did for our own beloved family pup) - Pancreatitis: Familiar with strict dietary management and flare-up prevention - Cognitive Decline: Patient and understanding with early-onset canine dementia - Sensory Impairments: Adept at navigating and comforting blind or deaf dogs ------ Above all, my connection with dogs is heart-driven. I strive to ensure every dog in my care feels like the most special pup in the world 💖 🕒 Work-Life Balance: Working from home means I’m never too far from a wagging tail. My flexible WFH schedule works well with any spontaneity needs. 📅 Weekend: Weekends are for adventure! Whether it’s a hike in the trails or simply a walk around the quiet neighborhood, I make sure your dog experiences the excitement and stimulation they crave. 🏠 Home Sweet Home: Above all, my home is a haven of love and care, where pets are treated as cherished family members. With me, every pet enjoys a routine filled with affection, attention, and the utmost care. I live in a small cozy apartment so they will be under watch 24/7.

About: Hi! My name is Neil D. Wallace and I love dogs. Dogs make me happy. My favorite dogs are Blue Staffies and Pugs. I have most experience walking Doodles, Pitbulls, Huskies and Chihuahas. I also communicate everything, and promise an open book attitude with owners. All hours until i book my next show. This is just a side hustle when demand is low in the acting world, which will change, with my contribution. No matter what dog I take care of, there is always one thing in common. The owner is always right. Even if I think something might work better for the pups, the owner knows best; open communication is key.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Cambria Heights with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
