About: I’m currently in my second year of veterinary school at TuftsVet. I’ve had extensive animal experience as a result, including 500+ hours in a veterinary clinic. I’ve also worked full-time for a year at a veterinary pharmacy, and part-time as a kennel assistant at a dog and cat daycare where I mostly boarded, walked, and socialized with the dogs. I love animals, and want to give them the best care because that’s what they deserve! I unfortunately am only available until August, but my schedule over the summer is very flexible. The only day I am strictly unavailable are Sundays, but otherwise from 11am-7pm I am free. Check-ins will include checking their food/water, general status, and of course, playtime! Any instructions that the owner leaves will be followed and photos of the pet will be sent to the owner during check-ins.

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. I’m a huge dog lover and I can care for your dogs as my own. I could feed, play and walk your dog as much as needed. I am available for boarding Monday through Sunday. She and her family (two young children who will entertain your dog endlessly) will provide a loving environment with lots of play and attention. I boarded my 7 year old pit mix for several days and he felt right at home immediately. Tina was great sharing photos and videos of Lincoln playing in the fenced in back and taking lots of walks (I think he thought twice about coming back home :)). So happy I found her.”

“Karina was amazing from beginning to end. I felt a little skeptical about leaving my fur child with anyone unfamiliar. From texts before the drop off, Karina made me feel comfortable. I received texts, pics and videos of my dog continuously throughout the day to see my dog, adjusting to a new person and environment. I could see my bully taking to Karina very easily which gave me peace of mind while away. Karina was very attentive to my fur baby and making sure that she was her priority while under her care. When I picked up my dog the first thing I asked after expressing my appreciation was, if I ever have to leave my dog with anyone again, can I look you up on Rover and she said yes! I highly recommend anyone leaving your fur child with Karina who is attentive and sensitive to your pet adjusting to new people and surroundings. Amazing pet sitter. 5 stars ⭐️”
