Jessica and her husband Ulisies have been a wonderful help for my family during a very trying time. I couldn't be more grateful for the way they have shown up to walk my dog and shower her with love and affection as if she was their own. Wonderful service and wonderful people overall. Will definitely continue working with them!

About: I’m a loving, patient, and attentive pet sitter with experience caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra care. I’ve cared for a 3 month-old Husky for two weeks, handling everything from feeding and bathing to training, playtime, and daily care. I’ve also traveled out of state to care for three dogs and a cat, including an 18 year-old senior dog with a detailed medication and supplement schedule. What sets me apart is that I truly pay attention to the little things. I understand how important it is to follow each pet’s normal routine, so I carefully follow feeding instructions, diets, walking schedules, medications, and any other special requests. Most importantly, I make sure pets get plenty of love, cuddles, attention, and companionship while their owners are away. I’ll care for your pets with the same patience, responsibility, and love I would want someone to give my own. I currently work part-time about 3–4 days a week, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. On my days off, I have open availability throughout the entire day, allowing me to easily accommodate walks, feedings, playtime, check-ins, and longer stays. Even on the days I work, my flexible schedule allows me to plan ahead and make sure each pet receives the time, attention, and care they need. I’m happy to work with each owner’s preferred routine because I know consistency is important for keeping pets comfortable and happy while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I carefully follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, supplements, playtime, and any special care needs. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I also keep their environment clean, refresh their food and water as needed, and pay close attention to any changes in their behavior or needs. For pets who require extra care, such as puppies or senior pets, I’m comfortable following more detailed routines and providing additional patience and attention. Most importantly, I respect my clients’ homes and aim to keep their pet’s routine as normal as possible so they can feel relaxed and cared for until their family returns.

Jacob walked our two big kids Maggie & Milo for 6 days and put up with all their pulling and stubbornness. We could not have asked for a friendlier, more conscientious or patient person to deal with these two critters. I'm giving Jacob 5 stars and my strongest recommendation to anyone looking for an A+ walker.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. Dealt with difficult pets as well. Very good at puppy training. I love long walks that have lots of sights. I love all pets, and will give fair and just treatment with no exceptions of temperament. I am not afraid to clean up after pets as well as clean and brush them as needed. I have no issues dealing with sick pets. I am comfortable with giving needed medications and maintaining strict consistency for your pet. I can deal with exotic pets with the proper instructions. I love to play with pets as much as they want and happy to visit as much as is needed! I’m excited to hear from you! Promo site: https://www.rover.com/sit/johnt58142 I currently work full time but on a flexible work schedule. I make my own hours most of the time and can choose where I want to work from each day. I grew up with pets and I miss the day to day of walking, feeding, and loving. I started sitting to fulfill that side of my life and to help those out who need pet care, as I have been on that side as well. Unfortunately I live in a home where I cannot have pets. This is sad as I can’t to boarding. But I am more than happy to house sit. I value your belongings as my own when I am employed with you. I will always respect not your your space but your privacy and follow all guidelines and restrictions to keep you at ease while you are gone.

My role as a doggie daycare handler provides me with constant exposure to dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments meaning no matter how big or small or excited or silly I can handle your pup. My background in training means I can provide your pup with structured care tailored to their needs. I’m currently working part-time, but have more than enough time or you and your pet. I have more free time on the weekdays, but may have time on select weekends or at night. I will dedicate my time to ensuring your pups needs are met whether that be feeding, walking or bathing. About: I’ve been a big dog lover since I was 10 years old. I’ve always volunteered at animal shelters and was ecstatic when I got my first dog ChiChi at 12 years old . As a teen I walked ChiChi with other dogs in my building and built great relationships with everyone’s pets. Once I became an adult at 18 I began dog and cat sitting and walking professionally. And along this pet caring journey, I have to say my favorite part of this career is building bonds with the pets and ensuring they are well taken care of. I do not mind feeding, walking, bathing or playing with your beloved pets. I’m currently working part time. I have plenty of time to care and play with your pets. I have availability all 7 days of the week. I know how to maintain a safe environment for your pets. I am able to crate your dogs. Also, I am not afraid of administering any medications your pet may need.

Arianna has been nothing short of a godsend! She not only walks Titan, who is 135 pound Cane Corso puppy, but she has also trained him. She is so professional, loving, organized, and knowledgeable that I wish I had found her sooner. When I got home after their first day together, it was like I had a brand new dog. He listened so attentively to his commands. He was so much better at loose leash walking, and he seemed to be over his Dog reactivity issues and I credit Arianna to this fully. I saw on my ring camera, how loving and patient she was with him each time. She took him out and brought him back, and I could tell by the way that he looked at her that he loved her and respected her immediately. I think everybody should have a walker as great knowledgeable, professional, and loving as Arianna. It was very hot that day, and she was also attentive to making sure his water dish was filled after each walk and she made sure he drank water before he went on his walks, and in addition, she also brought water and a dish on their walks because she was concerned about him.

  • 87% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
