“Very good job taking care of Echo and be flexible with times to walk him. Kamryn is receptive to advice about the dog and seemed to be excited to interact with him during walks.”

About: I have taken care of my pets both back home and in the city for many years. My favorite part of taking care of dogs is having a buddy to walk around the city with. I love taking my time strolling through the park giving your dog lots of time to sniff. I also love giving your pet all the ear scratches they could want. I have experience giving oral medications to pets. I am very timely and responsible, especially when it comes to pets with special needs. I have a lot of love to give your pet and can’t wait to meet them! I am a current graduate student at Columbia so I have a flexible schedule during the day. I am generally available around midday on the weekdays. I also tend to have a flexible schedule in the evenings and on weekends. I love cuddles and playtime and think that every animal needs both. I always try to make sure your pet is getting all the love and spoiling they deserve. I like to approach pets I am meeting for the first time with a calm demeanor so they can get a sense of me and I can get a sense of them. But most importantly, I try to meet them where they’re at!
About: What sets me apart is my calm, observant approach and the amount of care I put into making animals feel genuinely safe and comfortable. I’m patient with shy, anxious, high-energy, or senior pets, and I pay close attention to routines, behavior changes, and individual personalities. I’m highly reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented, so owners can trust that instructions will be followed carefully and their pets will get thoughtful, attentive care rather than just a quick check-in. I’m a freelancer and student, Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m organized, reliable, and good at maintaining consistent feeding, play, medication, and check-in schedules. I also like quieter routines, so spending time caring for cats feels calming and grounding rather than stressful or rushed. I care for pets with a lot of attention, patience, and respect for their routines and boundaries. In a client’s home, I make sure food, water, litter, medications, and general cleanliness are handled carefully while also giving the cat affection, enrichment, or space depending on their personality. I pay close attention to behavior changes and prioritize creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. Always happy to send updates and tidy up!

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a child, from playful puppies to senior dogs who need extra love and patience. I have volunteered at our local animal shelter where I took care of mummies and disabled dogs. I currently do not have a dog, and have plenty of love and care to give to yours! I work from home and will have flexibility based on your dog's needs. I am happy to board your dog during the day or overnight, and I will be able to take them out for as many walks as needed. I am currently in a house with a fenced backyard, giving dogs extra space to safely play, explore, and get fresh air throughout the day. In general, I follow instructions to the T. You can have peace of mind. For boarding, I am happy to follow your instructions including crating and walk schedule.

I treat every pet like family and always make sure they get plenty of attention, care, and exercise. I’m available several days a week for walks, check-ins, and giving your pets extra care and attention while you’re busy. Whether your dog needs a quick walk or a longer outing, I’d love to help care for your lovely pets! I have a fenced large yard with plenty of space! Your dog can run around in the safety of the yard and have a blast !

About: Hi my name is Tabitha, every body calls me Tabi for short. I am a huge animal lover. I love all animals of all breeds and sizes. I grew up with animals my whole life. I've had hamsters, rabbits, dogs, cats, turtles, etc. Mostly cats and dogs. I am interested in animal caring because i want a puppy so bad, but will not be able to get one any time soon. My last dog Oreo, was a pit bull, and i had her for 13 years (her whole life). I live in an apartment and have a cat. I am home 80% of the time and i am always alone. The other 20% i am out running errands. I will like to enjoy the company of an energetic, playful, outgoing, silly and loving dog, cat, etc, who can make my day a bit brighter. I will love, cherish, and enjoy the company of your pet(s), as if they were my very own. Pet sitting is my primary focus, as I am home 80% of the day. My routine is very flexible, only stepping out briefly for quick errands, which means your fur baby will have constant companionship and supervision. Because I’m around so much, I can easily stick to your pet's specific feeding, potty, and play schedules without any interruptions. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. When I’m in a client's home, I maintain a calm and secure environment, ensuring all doors and gates are double-checked. Since I grew up in a family that always had more cats than dogs, I am an expert at reading body language to ensure pets feel safe and never overstimulated. I provide frequent updates and photos so you can have total peace of mind while you're away.

About: I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, and they tend to trust me quickly. I’ve cared for many different pets over the years, including dogs, small animals, and birds. I’m very patient, calm, and attentive, which helps pets feel safe and relaxed in my care. I make sure all pets are fed on time, well cared for, and given plenty of love and attention. I also have experience caring for my godsister’s and cousins’ dogs, including a beagle and a dachshund. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I truly believe every pet deserves kindness, consistency, and genuine care. I have a rabbit named miffy, a parakeet named Beaky. I feed and water them everyday as well as charge the litter box of my rabbit as I trained him to learn to do his business in his litterbox. I also help my disabled neighbor walk their dog whenever nobody is home I always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust when caring for pets in my home or a client’s (or neighbors) home. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I take time to build trust with every pet, allowing them to adjust at their own pace. I keep environments clean, calm, and secure, and I make sure pets are supervised, well-cared-for, and given plenty of attention and affection at all times.
Union Port dog parents share their Rover experiences
Janet is an outstanding dog walker! She bonded immediately with our two English Setters, and they happily anticipate her arrival when it is time for a walk to our nearby park. Janet sends us photos, videos, and updates throughout the walk. She keeps up a brisk pace but is sensitive enough to allow the girls to sniff when they wish, without them sneaking any inappropriate "snacks" that might be lingering on the path. Janet has an upbeat personality, and is always on time yet very flexible. We can’t recommend her highly enough!

Anny is excellent, kind, sweet, and attentive. She arrived right on time, and my dogs loved their walks with her. Walks were documented, and I loved getting picture updates. My dogs were happy to see her when it was time for their walks. I would recommend Anny to anyone looking for dog walking and boarding! :)

We have been working with Kitty for a couple of months, and she walks our dog 1-2 times a week. She has been consistently reliable and a great help to us, and is super communicative if we need to figure out the best time for her to stop by. Our dog trusts and likes her, which is no small thing for our cranky senior girl! We highly recommend Kitty!

I can’t say enough great things about Yolanny! She took care of my dog, Princess, for a full week and was absolutely amazing the entire time. She went above and beyond—feeding her on schedule, taking her on walks, sending me pictures and updates every day, and treating Princess with such kindness and care. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was not only safe but genuinely happy while I was away. Yolanny is reliable, thoughtful, and truly has a gift with animals. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog walker—you’ll be lucky to have her!
