“Marin took such wonderful care of our cat after our travel plans changed last minute. She was incredibly attentive and took the time to not only give our cat the best care possible everyday but to send us detailed updates and photos as well! She was very patient and sweet with our shy cat and found ways to give her attention while also respecting her boundaries. Would highly recommend Marin to anyone who needs pet care!”

I can play with and care for your animal most days, unless otherwise scheduled. I am available on most weekends and weekdays. With my experience in animal behavior, I can recognize signs of discomfort, fear, or nervousness in dogs. I use gates for safety and am comfortable with crate training. Although I live in a building, I am vigilant about any risks since I have my own dog. If your pet has any specific needs, please let me know!

About: I’ve been a dog walker for 2+ years, I have experience working at a dog daycare, dog walking, dog sitting, cat sitting, and drop in feeding for both. I am patient, reliable and punctual. I pay attention, take animals safety seriously and will take very good care of your pets. Rain or shine, snow or summer heat won’t stop me from showing up 😁 I am willing to do meet and greets! I’ve mainly worked in Manhattan (preferably I choose to work all around Manhattan) , I can come to Brooklyn or Queens to dog/cat sit and commute is no problem for me. I am available weekdays and weekends, I have lots of free time and I would like to use that to work as much as I can. I understand that each cat/dog has their own needs and some require special attention and/or care, such as diaper changes for disabled dogs or pets that take certain medications, I am experienced with these and I can do it. I can and will do whatever the pet needs, I’ll be present and take care of them.
About: I’ve taken care of younger dogs for approximately six years; boarding, walking, feeding, and enforcing training for them. I’ve always loved animals and have interacted with all kinds. I work full time, but am occasionally remote and can take your pet out in the morning, during lunch breaks, and/or after work, especially on weekends, Mondays, and Fridays. I will treat your animal as if they were my own and am happy to cater to any needs they may have for their wellbeing.
“Marion watched out kitty when we went out of town for 10 days. She was an excellent communicator and kept us up to date on all of our cats needs. He came to live time with her when she came over. She was also punctual and communicated when timing needed to shift slightly. All in all a very positive experience for us and our kitty of course.”

“Nicole did an amazing job taking care of my cat. She sent me regular updates with pictures. She was very professional and communicated well. I would trust her to take care of my cat again.”

“⸻ Let me just say—after my first two dog sitters, I almost gave up on this app 🙂. But I’m so glad I found Victor. He is incredibly kind and truly cares. My dog absolutely loves him—he wags his tail and gets just as excited to see Victor as he does to see me, which says everything. Victor is also very reliable. He doesn’t just stick to the exact booked time or show up late like others. He often arrives a few minutes early and sometimes stays a little longer, which I really appreciate. It shows how genuine and dedicated he is. I also have a camera at home, since my dog can’t tell me about his day—and it’s clear that Victor treats him with care and attention. That gives me a lot of peace of mind. He will definitely be my to-go dog sitter moving forward!”

About: Whenever I meet a dog in the neighborhood I get so excited; I am definitely a huge animal lover! I grew up taking care of my family’s rescue dog and I loved watching him grow and training him to be a happy and healthy pup. I really miss having a pet in my life! I've been a Rover member since 2016 when I started taking care of a wonderful senior dog for over a year. Dog sitting for friends and family has always been a joy for me, and I regularly care for my neighbor’s senior cat and my colleagues’ pets. I have a hybrid work schedule, so I'll have lots of time to care for your pets and give them all of the love and affection that they need! At home I live with my male partner who is also a huge animal lover! Our place does not have an elevator, but there is only one flight of stairs needed to enter.
About: WHO AM I? I am Juliet who lives in The Bronx. I own all types of pets growing up from canines, felines, to reptiles. Since I was younger, I always wanted to work with animals to be a veterinarian. The closest I got was working for boarding facility as a manager, which I learned so much from health, and safety protocol between me and the pets, to pets on pets. I know the signs of when aggressions are about to happen or when a pet is stressed to working with very nervous and anxious pets. I might not have a lot of reviews as in right now because I'm still new to rover but with my experience, skills and great customer service I can be a great sitter for you! All I asked of you is to leave a review after your boarding experience with me, you feedback is important! Each feedback brings me closer to being the great sitter you need me to be! Rover is a full time job! I am always here with your pup unless I'm doing a grocery run. 6am: feeding 6:30am-9am: morning exercise (Ex: walking, playing, dog park) 10am-1pm: rest time 1pm-2pm: lunch (if required) 3pm-4pm: keeping up with training 5pm-8pm: dinner and last walk Please remember this is an ideal schedule for me to keep up with but I do understand that I receive pets that can have possible health problems, on medication, or just senior pets who needs to just chill at home in the AC. Please feel free to update me on the ideal schedule you would like for me to provide for your pet. There’s many safety equipment in my house to ensure everyone safely. I have gates on every door way. I have kennels one is a 48Lx30Wx32H and the other one is 24Lx18Wx19H. Kennels will only be used if requested. Does your dog like to run out the house , don’t worry I got you covers where I have a two gate system to ensure no one will run out on top of that my building have a two door where it requires a person to push the button to open the door to leave .
“I would definitely recommend Fallon— she was consistently prompt and responsive, and our care instructions were followed perfectly. Our shyest cat rarely makes an appearance when we have a cat sitter, and he was out and about from day 1.”

About: Hi! My name is Elise and I am so excited to help you and your fur babies! I have always had a big space in my heart for animals. Growing up in Washington, DC I used to volunteer at the local humane society and always have an extra can of food in my car for the stray cats around the city. Throughout my life, my parents have always had cats, and my chores were always cat related. From Cat sitting, to litter clean up, food prep, playing, and even setting up cat furniture, I am very experienced when it comes to the needs of your feline friend. I now have a dog of my own named Echo who lives in DC, and he is literally my biological son. As a pet owner I understand how we ride at dawn for our animals and don't play when it comes to giving them the best care. As a college student my summers are free! My time is available to dedicate to your giving your pet the best possible care in the world! I find consistency very important when a pet is in my care so I will always keep your pet on a schedule and keep your home tidy!

About: I helped take care of a very young puppy when I lived with family a year ago. I take care of children currently at school! I’m a teacher so I would be able to care for pets afterschool, overnight and on weekends. I willing to be flexible about afterschool hours. I loved having a dog and miss her dearly. I enjoy playing with the dogs I care for and also ask lots of questions about appropriate care because I want to make sure I’m doing the best job. Being a teacher, I care deeply about those under my care and do my utmost to make sure I’m giving them what they need.
“Lili took care of our cat, Mishmish, while we were on vacation. She followed instructions to the T, and our elderly cat, who is usually pretty lethargic and not overly friendly, warmed up to her. We came back to clean litter box, swept floors, and our cat having fresh water and food. We will absolutely work with Lili again when we travel for extended period of time, and highly recommend her to any pet owner.”

Leona was amazing with our dog Doeby! Doeby is a very large energetic dog that requires constant attention and Leona provided everything that Doeby needed. Doeby appeared happy in every photo that Leona sent us. 10/10 service. She went above and beyond and allowed us to enjoy our wedding weekend without having to worry about Doeby. We will definitely be hiring her again.

Kamryn is amazing! My puppy is very shy around new people but by day 2 he was jumping on her and kissing her. She keeps me updated on everything and gives me of mind to know my puppy is in good hands when I’m at work! I wish I could give more than 5 stars because she’s just great!

Estephania was absolutely fantastic, very detailed, caring, great communication! We have a zoo, 7 cats, 2 dogs, 2 turtles, 1 bird and three fish tanks. She took care of all our babies with care, kept them company and gently spoke to them and they loved it. We felt absolutely relieved while we were in vacation that our babies were in great hands with Estephania. We can’t thank her enough for the great care and service she provided for us.
