About: With six years of dedicated companionship with my own beloved dog, I've honed my pet care skills to perfection. From daily walks to cozy cuddle sessions, I understand the importance of providing love, attention, and personalized care to furry friends. Whether it's administering medication, following specific dietary needs, or simply offering companionship, I pride myself on creating a safe and nurturing environment where pets thrive. Incorporating pet care into my daily and weekly routine is a top priority for me. Each day begins with a morning walk, ensuring my furry friend gets the exercise they need to start their day right. Throughout the week, I schedule regular feeding times and play sessions to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. I also carve out time for grooming, whether it's brushing their coat or trimming their nails, to ensure their well-being and hygiene. Additionally, I make it a point to dedicate quality time for bonding activities, such as training sessions or simply snuggling on the couch. By seamlessly integrating pet care into my routine, I provide consistent love and attention to my furry companion, enriching both of our lives. Regardless of the setting, I remain attentive to each pet's individual needs, whether it's administering medication, providing grooming services, or simply offering companionship and reassurance. Regular communication with clients ensures that they are kept informed about their pet's well-being and any notable updates during their absence. Ultimately, my goal is to provide loving and responsible care that gives both pets and their owners peace of mind.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since being a child. What sets me apart from other sitters is my motivation and love for the caring of animals. I’m currently only in college taking only a few classes, so I’ll have lots of time to play and walk with your pup! I live in an apartment, but live right next to the infamous Crotona Park, so your pup will always have a fun, big, and interesting park to walk in when they’re staying with me.

About: Hi! My name is Elise and I am so excited to help you and your fur babies! I have always had a big space in my heart for animals. Growing up in Washington, DC I used to volunteer at the local humane society and always have an extra can of food in my car for the stray cats around the city. Throughout my life, my parents have always had cats, and my chores were always cat related. From Cat sitting, to litter clean up, food prep, playing, and even setting up cat furniture, I am very experienced when it comes to the needs of your feline friend. I now have a dog of my own named Echo who lives in DC, and he is literally my biological son. As a pet owner I understand how we ride at dawn for our animals and don't play when it comes to giving them the best care. As a college student my summers are free! My time is available to dedicate to your giving your pet the best possible care in the world! I find consistency very important when a pet is in my care so I will always keep your pet on a schedule and keep your home tidy!

She was also punctual and communicated when timing needed to shift slightly. All in all a very positive experience for us and our kitty of course.

About: I’m a caring, responsible, and attentive animal lover who understands how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with your pet. I’m also a very active person who genuinely enjoys being outdoors and going on long walks, so I’m happy to keep up with energetic dogs who need plenty of movement, playtime, and stimulation throughout the day. I’m patient and attentive to each pet’s individual personality and routine, whether they love being active, need lots of affection, or simply want some company while you’re away. I’m extremely organized, dependable, and communicative, and I’ll always follow your instructions closely. I’m also happy to send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, exercised, and getting lots of attention. I’ll treat your pet with the same care and affection I’d want someone to give my own. I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m an active person and already enjoy spending time outdoors, walking, and staying on the move, so incorporating dog walks and playtime into my day comes very naturally to me. I’m happy to accommodate different routines and will make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and boundaries, so I’ll carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, playtime, behavior, and their home environment. When caring for a pet in their own home, I’m respectful of both their space and yours and try to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. I’m attentive on walks, mindful of surroundings and other animals, and will never put a pet in an unfamiliar or uncomfortable situation unnecessarily. I’m also very communicative and happy to send regular photos and updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I’ve had the joy of being around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with both small and large breeds since I was a little girl. Caring for them is a lifelong passion for me. I love not only spending time with dogs but also training them, learning about their unique personalities, and making sure they feel happy, healthy, and understood. My goal as a sitter is to give each dog the same level of love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own, so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is thriving while you’re away. As a freelance artist, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to tailor my day around the needs of the pets I care for. My work in the arts gives me the freedom to be present for regular walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. Because I can easily adjust my routine, I’m able to give each pet consistent attention and love. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my own home or in a client’s home, safety and trust are always my top priorities. I make sure pets are in a secure environment that they are free from hazards, with access to fresh water, comfortable resting areas, and plenty of safe play space. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, from feeding routines to exercise schedules, and keep a watchful eye on the pet’s behavior and well-being. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and ensure it’s kept tidy and secure. My goal is to provide both the pet and their owner with peace of mind, knowing they’re in a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment.

About: (PLEASE KEEP READING FOR LATENESS INFO AND PRICING). Hello, everyone! I am a college student who has more than 10 years of personal experience with a variety of dogs. I've raised and taken care of Rottweilers, Pitbulls, Dalmatians and Labradors in the past and currently own a 9 year old Labrador/Pitbull mix and 2 Rottweiles. I thoroughly enjoy taking care of dogs on my free time as I work out with my own. There's a big park with a dog run right next to me so your baby will always be taken care of and I also keep an AC in the living room for the hotter days. In addition to that, I have worked with dogs with separation anxiety and am very aware of the struggles dealing with that so I always make sure when I take a Rover booking, that the dog is never alone in the house. Furthermore, I have no issues sending pictures and videos of your baby as we all would like to know how our babies are doing when we are not with them. Thank you so much for taking a look at my services and feel free to book me up! FYI, I am very comfortable and very good with big and strong doggos :-). I take pleasure in giving your baby one on one time withNL NO OTHER DOGS at the same time as yours so that they can fully enjoy their time I go to school online so I am able to be with pets 24/7. I also make sure that pets do not stay alone ever while in my care. I do ask however, for clients to stick to their drop-off and pick-up times to respect my time as I respect theirs and their pets', and to avoid any late fees or extra charges. LATENESS: To accommodate for my time and services, this is the lateness , cancelation and time change policy: 3 days in advance for full refund and no additional charges for changes. OVERNIGHT BOARDING 1 DAY ONLY DOG MUST BE DROPPED OFF BY 10PM AND PICKED UP BY 8AM LATEST (I HAVE FLEXIBILITYIF NEEDED), LATE FEES WILL APPLY AFTER THAT OF $25 PER 15 MINUTE PERIOD, FOR UP TO 2 HOURS AND BEYOND THAT, DOGGY DAYCARE CHARGES WILL APPLY IF PICKED UP LATER THAN 2 HOURS ON TOP OF THE LATE FEE. DOGGY DAYCARE 1 DAY ONLY DOG MUST BE DROPPED OFF BY 10AM AND PICKED UP BY 8PM (I HAVE FLEXIBILITY IF NEEDED), LATE FEES WILL APPLY AT $25 PER 15 MINUTES OF LATENESS AND UP TO 2 HOURS. BEYOND THAT, OVERNIGHT BOARDING RATES WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANYTHING BEYOND 2 HOUR LATENESS ON TOP OF THE LATE FEES. Kamila was a wonderful sitter for my cats, Thaddeus and Neo. She followed all of my instructions with care, kept their routine consistent, and made sure they had food, fresh water, clean litter, and plenty of attention. She even went the extra mile by playing with them and keeping them entertained with their treat puzzles. She was always on time and I felt completely at ease knowing they were in her care. I really appreciated the updates she sent, which made being away so much easier. I came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and a tidy space. I would absolutely book with Kamila again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and attentive sitter.

About: WHO AM I? I am Juliet who lives in The Bronx. I own all types of pets growing up from canines, felines, to reptiles. Since I was younger, I always wanted to work with animals to be a veterinarian. The closest I got was working for boarding facility as a manager, which I learned so much from health, and safety protocol between me and the pets, to pets on pets. I know the signs of when aggressions are about to happen or when a pet is stressed to working with very nervous and anxious pets. I might not have a lot of reviews as in right now because I'm still new to rover but with my experience, skills and great customer service I can be a great sitter for you! All I asked of you is to leave a review after your boarding experience with me, you feedback is important! Each feedback brings me closer to being the great sitter you need me to be! Rover is a full time job! I am always here with your pup unless I'm doing a grocery run. 6am: feeding 6:30am-9am: morning exercise (Ex: walking, playing, dog park) 10am-1pm: rest time 1pm-2pm: lunch (if required) 3pm-4pm: keeping up with training 5pm-8pm: dinner and last walk Please remember this is an ideal schedule for me to keep up with but I do understand that I receive pets that can have possible health problems, on medication, or just senior pets who needs to just chill at home in the AC. Please feel free to update me on the ideal schedule you would like for me to provide for your pet. There’s many safety equipment in my house to ensure everyone safely. I have gates on every door way. I have kennels one is a 48Lx30Wx32H and the other one is 24Lx18Wx19H. Kennels will only be used if requested. Does your dog like to run out the house , don’t worry I got you covers where I have a two gate system to ensure no one will run out on top of that my building have a two door where it requires a person to push the button to open the door to leave .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Bronx with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
