We live in a private apartment in a family-owned three-family house in Lower Westchester. Our home is clean, spacious, and pet-friendly, with a private deck and a small backyard perfect for fresh air and play. We’re also just a short walk from the beautifully updated Yonkers waterfront, where your pet will enjoy scenic strolls and outdoor fun. You won’t find a more dog-loving duo. Since we’ve been pet sitting for over a decade, we’ve built our schedule around giving pets the attention and care they deserve. Morning and evening walks are part of our daily rhythm, and we make time throughout the day for play, feeding, and cuddle sessions. My teenage son is very involved—he loves helping with walks, playtime, and making sure each pet feels right at home. Whether we have one guest or a few, they’re always integrated into our family life with love and consistency. In our home, pets are treated like family. We provide a safe, clean, and loving environment where they can relax and be themselves. They have access to cozy spaces indoors, a private deck for fresh air, and a small backyard for outdoor time. About: There hasn’t been a time in my life when I DIDN’T have a pet. Except for right now, that is. As any dog owner/lover will tell you, your dog is an important member of your immediate family. Losing a pet is comparable to losing a family member. Jake, my pit bull, passed away a little over a year ago. The grief and loss was/is hard to get over, and I’m not ready right now for another dog of my own. But I am and always will be an animal lover, and I will take very good care of YOURS! Due to COVID, I’m currently working part-time. And since I’m able to set my own hours and work schedule in this part-time job, I have the luxury and good fortune right now of a flexible and open schedule that can be adjusted at any time. I’m not currently able to care for pets out of my own home here in Yonkers, but I have a car and I am happy to travel to care for your pet at YOUR home or wherever you need me to be.

About: I’ve always had two dogs growing up that I have taken care of and played with. I have watched multiple friends and neighbors dogs growing up. i’m currently on summer break and have a part-time server job, so u have plenty of free time to take care of your pets! I am comfortable going to clients’ homes and will make sure your pets stay on their normal routine in a safe, stress-free environment. I provide my dogs and will provide my clients dogs with attention, playtime, and walks.

About: I’ve worked with puppies, seniors, and large breeds for years. Reliable, attentive, and comfortable handling dogs with different personalities and energy levels. Your dog’s safety, routine, and well being always come first. I work remotely so have the flexibility to walk/take care of dogs and cats. Morning or evenings both work for me. Message me for details. About: Some past experiences were at animal shelters like the Humane Society of Westchester and the Mount Vernon Animal Shelter. I love what dogs and humans can bring to one another. I consider myself energetic and can match the energy, as well as the tranquility of a pet. Mood reading is very important and that is part of the joy of understanding each other with our languages. A routine and change of pace can work because it is never a dull moment. Pets are amazing and understanding mood helps the communication and language. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for dogs to run around in. The space is safe and spacious, able to play games and stretch.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 12. My family and friends would ask me to pet sitting sometimes. I also trained my own dogs too I’m available weekdays before 9 and after 5 pm and weekends all day from very early to late. I don’t mind staying overnight. It’s ok for me I have toys for cats, scratches, a tower and a good space to take care of your pet without any problems. I’m also open to get some dog toys.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my whole life. Friends, family, and peers trust me to take care of their pets while they’re away. I made sure that they returned home better than ever like they went on a vacation too! I have experience with high-energy pups to senior dogs and can adapt to their personality and pace. I enjoy caring for animals from walking, playing, administering medication, grooming, and providing a calm space. What find most important is being patient and attentive to what your pet specifically needs. My top priority is always keeping pets happy and healthy. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly poodle (17 years old) to keep your fur baby company. If needed can easily crate your fur baby.

About: I worked in a Doggy Daycare/Sitting Business called Bark & Purr, so I already have experience taking care and training many different dogs and cats. I am currently doing a side hustle job in landscaping! But the hours are very flexible, so I am free nonstop, especially during the afternoon - evenings. I have two huge parks and a fenced dog park to bring your fur baby to! The apartment is very spacious and dog friendly so you don't have to worry about your dog feeling stressed and claustrophobic.

Forgetting to do a litter box, one day happens, but forgetting to do it constantly can lead to your pet killing a fungal infection, and having a lot of pain in the limbs they walk on. I like to take a systems thinking approach, and things like a few times a week and cleaning your space everyday and securing unsafe spaces is super important . I work in retail and the service industry so I would love to transition out of that soon as hour can be short or sparse this time of year and build my photography business. Taking care of pets and having pet models for my portfolio would be great as well as the time to be active and have fun as I focus on building these foundational skills. I’ve already done the hectic schedule of chasing shifts downtown for the last 2 years so if I could have slower days and have clients closer to me that would be great. To me a very successful play session involves observing the pet where they are,and how they interact because I am a guest in their space firstly, and giving them attention and love is my first priority. I don’t care that I may start out at a Lower rate or XYNZ is out of my pay grade. I’m not leaving a fecal mess or putting my headphones on, and turning Netflix and putting my feet up during a session because I can . The TV will always be there but the emotions and potential reactive response of a pet that might start biting plants or getting into stuff they shouldn’t —can lead to a permanent result. I want the pets I care to stay interested or at least rest and feel comfortable in their space and know that some one is there to feed them and respond to their needs or at least be willing to figure out what they need and not dismiss them. I have been trained by another company called Big City Wolf on proper dog handling and plan to get my animal CPR training this March and apply to work at the new ACS center in Coop city .

About: My experience with animals goes beyond just having pets of my own! I’ve raised my cat, Khloe, since she was a newborn, cared for my boyfriend’s senior dog Gizmo (RIP), and even helped care for a family member’s puppy (Romeo) who was sick with a UTI. That meant keeping up with more frequent walks and giving the puppy extra attention throughout the week. I’ve also managed to keep three carnival goldfish (Darwin, Sayuri, and Mohawk) happy and healthy for over two years! From young pets who need supervision to senior pets who may need a gentler hand, I’ve learned every animal has different needs, but deserve the same patience consistency and love. I’m also a photographer and artist, so I LOVE catching those goofy moments that fill every pet owners phone gallery. If your pet becomes my buddy, don’t be surprised if you get an entire complimentary photo shoot! I will also be happy to clean your fur baby afterwards (yuck nyc floors) and provide poop bags, toys, treats, etc if needed! I’m currently in college full time, with Mondays and Wednesday’s being my most unavailable days. Tuesday,Thursday,Friday, and weekends are my best days. I have classes Tues-Thurs from 10:45-12pm, and periodically have classes on Thursday from 3:05 to 5:45. This is my last semester, so I will be graduating soon. We can work together to find the best schedule 🐾 Whether it is in my home or yours, my priority is making sure the fur baby is safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow the usual feeding, walking, playtime, and rest routines as closely as possible. In your home, I’ll respect your space, keep your pet areas cleaner than you left them, and make sure they have fresh food and water.

About: I’ve had dogs and taken care of dogs for as long as I could remember. My friends always call and recommend me when they’re away! I’m home often and if I run out it’s not for long, so I’d be home with your dog most if not all day. I’m very active and love walking so I’d take your dogs on multiple walks a day… as long as that’s what they like :) I will send lots of photos and updates of your dog through out the day!
